I love Georgia Le Carre and the amazingly complex characters she creates in her books. Her characters and the stories that bind them together are out of this world sensual and Dahila and Zane with their story do not fall behind. Let me tell you, this was quite a story, and I am still left breathless after thinking of them.
Dahlia’s best friend is Zane’s masseuse and due to her double booking she asks Dahlia to fill in for her on Zane’s appointment. Dahlias wardrobe choice at the appointment, and the fact that she was not giving a massage to the standards a professional masseuse gives a massages, make Zane think that she must be a prostitute. He makes a very intrusively hot move on her and she is shocked. I believe that she is mostly shocked that she reacts to him,when she thinks she shouldn’t. It is a battle within, that she knows she will lose. Something is amiss in her world and she just can’t accept it. Logically she can’t be attracted to a dangerous Mafia Boss, but deep down she knows that there is an undeniable attraction between them.
They are thrown together again, several months after their first meeting when Dahlia reaches out to Zane to find her missing sister, and Zane offers her a deal. A month with him as his sexual slave in exchange to finding her sister, to which Dahlia agrees.
Zane seems a distant character, and unlike some hero’s he has a legitimate reason for his distance. He knows the depth and despair a life like his can bring on people. He can’t get close due to the path he has chosen in life. I feel that it makes him a man of honor. The life he chose is his choice and dragging someone else in it, would be unfair. Dahlia on the other hand is not a meek character. She does not submit like the slave Zane wants her to be. She struggles with the Idea of being just an object and she tries hard to break down barriers, which Zane constantly builds. He wants to get her out of his system, and she knows that a life with him will have downsides but she still can’t help or control the feelings that she has for Zane. Their chemistry is amazing, and Zane with all his roughness will break your heart, because his vulnerability is a silent constant. This book is the first part of Zane and Dahlia’s story. I don’t like the term cliffhanger, so I will just say there is more to come and I think you should give this book a chance.

This was an amazing book. I love the first three books in this series. I just stumbled on this author and she is now one of my favorites. I was literally obsessed with the first two books. I was supposed to be studying for a test and I think my grade was significantly lower because I couldn't go to bed until I got to book 3!
I absolutely loved Zane as the hero, and some people may object to his ruthless profession, but I think it's a huge turn on.
I like that Dahlia wasn't a total pushover or goody-goody. I can't stand that in a heroine.
I like that they both had flaws and that Dahlia was willing to overlook some of Zanes.
Great story line, hot sex scenes and real chemistry between the two.

Wow! Georgia Le Carre has dazzled her readers yet again with You Don't Own Me, another richly intense, sinfully dark and emotionally gripping contemporary erotic bad boy mafia romance. I discovered Georgia Le Carre a few short weeks ago but immediately became a fan. Le Carre is an extraordinarily gifted writer, remarkable storyteller and skilled wordsmith. I became totally smitten with her work, so much so that I begin reading my way through her entire library and have loved every single one. You Don't Own Me: Book One is a 50,000 word novella and as its name implies, the first of a two book serial entitled The Russian Don Series and is NOT a standalone read. I fell head over heels in love with this story and its characters, and anxiously awaited the publication of Book Two which has also been released so the story is now complete. And Le Carre does not disappoint in either book! In fact, I believe Book Two is even better than Book One and that's quite a claim because Book One was fabulous! Please be forewarned, this story makes up only approximately forty percent of the downloaded ebook file and includes a previously published novel by Le Carre entitled Beautiful Beast(which I also loved by the way) as well as a sneak peek of You Don't Own Me, Book Two. The author fully discloses this information on the the store product page as well as in the front of the book itself. Thank you Ms Le Carre for being honest and upfront with your readers.
But I digress, let's talk about this book. The story is imaginative, exciting, dark, romantic, erotic with a well crafted and beautifully written narrative in the first person with clearly defined alternating perspectives from the two protagonists, beautiful publishing house script reader Dahlia Fury and deeply scarred and emotionally damaged Russian Mafia Boss Aleksandr 'Zane' Malenkov. The dialogue is smart, seductive, raw, well executed and flows effortlessly. I loved the premise and world created by Le Carre for this dark tale but it's the wonderful cast of characters that quickly became the heart and soul of this story, drawing me irrevocably into the pages and completely capturing my heart. They are intriguing, captivating, engaging, exceptionally well developed and sexy as sin. Their attraction is electric with a chemistry so hot it sizzles. I laughed with them, cried for them, empathized with them, screamed at them while shaking my fists in anger and cheered for them to find happiness. I became totally immersed in the story and found myself glued to my seat, devouring every page, losing focus of everything around me, completely lost in time with the hours passing seemingly as minutes while my heart stuttered as I struggled to breathe. It was an incredible experience with the perfect amount of danger, drama, angst, heartache, romance and sex with surprising twists and shocking revelations at every turn. It was sheer and utter perfection containing every element I love in a great book. I loved it!

Russian Mafia mob boss, Aleksandr 'Zane' Malenkov is a cruel, heartless and very dangerous man with a dark past. But will four weeks ever be enough to satisfy his desire for the beautiful Dahlia Fury? Maybe, or maybe not! Oh my!

Dahlia Fury was only doing a favor for her professional masseuse best friend and roommate, Stella. All she had to do was fill in for her and give one massage to a customer. Stella had been training her so she could do this, right? Regrettably, said customer turned out to be the ruthless but very handsome Russian mob boss, Aleksandr Malenkov. The beautiful, innocent and very naive Dahlia Fury never stood a chance against the will of this dark-hearted monster. Once she crossed his threshold and ventured into his world, she became a helpless victim ensnared in his web of lust. And all she could do is submit to the beast. He may be handsome but he is a monster at heart and she could never care for a man like him. She will somehow find a way to survive with her heart and soul intact. Or will she? Oh my!

When reviewing and rating a book, there are always several questions I ask myself beginning with what did I love about this story? In this case, I loved the premise as well as the characters. I loved the way it was written with all the elements I enjoy in a great story. It was dark, compelling, intense, emotionally engaging, exceptionally well crafted and written with the perfect combination of angst, suspense, romance and sex. It's a fast paced read with a lot of dialogue and no unnecessary filler. Second, I ask myself what didn't I like about this story? Honestly, there wasn't anything I didn't enjoy about this book. Yes, there were a few little booboos that were missed in the editing process but nothing major and certainly nothing that drew my attention away from the story. Overall, it was well written. Third, would I recommend this book? You bet and I am but only for adult readers since there are a lot of dreamy, exquisitely written love scenes! Fourth, will I read this author again? Abso-freaking-lutely! Just as soon as she releases her next book! And finally, was I entertained? Oh lawd, that would be an emphatic yes, totally and completely entertained! So my final recommendation is: if you love dark romance generously seasoned with heart-wrenching angst, spine-tingling suspense, surprising plot twists, shocking revelations, fiery passion, dreamy erotic sex and heartwarming romance, then give Georgia Le Carre an opportunity to entertain you. Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

First let me start by saying that I really enjoyed You Don't Own Me. Zane was a cold jerk that I wanted to kick and then lick because he was so damn yummy. I also really liked Dahlia, she was cute and sassy even though I think she started to think 'love' a little to quickly for me. The chemistry and sex between these two was super hot. Anyway the story moves along nicely and then bam it ends. I got to say I was a little surprised at how quickly it ended, my Kindle only said 39%. I didn't realize there is another book from a different series attached to this one. So if your looking for a short read with lots of sex no real plot and a jerk for a hero this fits the bill. I'm really looking forward to part 2.

Even though I predicted what really happened and how Zane got his way. I did enjoy the banter between Zane and Daliah and of course the hot sexy parts. But as much as Daliah thinks she can't tame the beast Zane is in his heart, I think she'll learn somehow especially with the help of her new friends. Can't wait to continue since this book has left me wanting more.

Thanks Georgia!!!! Loved it from the first chapter. You've always had a way with making me fall in love with these crazy Alps men.. This one is know different! I can't wait to read book 2. How are you going to get Fury to forgive Zane? Will love be enough? Without spoiling it for others, I must say this Zane's crines are almost unforgivable.. I love the family dynamic between Dahlia and Steels, more of the please. The Russian \American bantering in the kitchen was hilarious, it brought warmth to this distinctional non-family unit. Based on the ending, I'm hoping you're going to flip the script??? Let the male do most of the fighting for love in book two.

Wowsers another hot steamy and brilliant book by Georgia and another first in my book....This woman certainly knows how to write. The story line in this one being quite unique. Has Dahlia bitten off more than she can chew with Zane this big beautiful Russian, or is she going to tame him. When i came to the end of this book i could have screamed.....will she wont she ?? Book 2 will no doubt reveal it all and knowing Georgia we wont be waiting long she knows how to keep us interested and this book certainly does that. Its fast moving and will have you loving the characters within it. I was given this ARC to read for an honest review.

Amaing book! I absolutely love this book by Georgia Le Carre. It has the right amount of sexiness and suspense and chemistry. In this book We meet Dahlia who fills in for her best friend, who is a massuse. Zane is in the Mafia who also happens to be A client of Dalhlia's friend.
When these two people meet the chemistryis explosive. Then when the worst happens Dahlia has to rely on Zane to help her find someone near and dear, Zane has a stipulation, be his for a month. She thinks its crazy, but desperate times calls for desperate measures.
I love this book and recommend everyone read it!!

That book is DELICIOUS! Scorching hot sex, sassy comeback remarks and a twist you will never see coming. I keep thinking Georgia le Caree can't best the Billionaire banker series, but she proofed me wrong on that one.
Zane is an underground crime boss who always gets what he desires, and "fortunately" for Dahlia Fury she stirs Zane's interest. Unfortunately for Zane, Dahlia carries the name Fury for a reason. The chemistry between those two is simply raw and unpredictable. Makes a very interesting and intriguing read.. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT...

I really enjoyed the inner turmoil that Dahlia has when it comes to Zane. Her emotions jump off the page and were very engaging. Zane's did too but in such a different way.
I was engaged the entire story and not once did I feel I needed to take a break. I was sucked in. I love that an author can do that for me.

Is Zane the one for Dahlia? Such an angsty romance. Zane is a dangerous one and I think that Dahlia is strong enough to handle it. Don't let me down Ms Le Carre!

Zane, user of women, manipulator of circumstance to acheive anything he wants, and all around general ass, wants Dalhia. So, he does what he needs to do, no holds barred, to get her. This is a good read and I look forward to the next in the series.

Mz Georgia you are a wonderful writer your story line is amazing I fell in love with Zane and his bad self . He is a force on to himself . Not to mention Lady Dahlia she is a very strong character love the way she tells him what's what . Love the way they fight this love they feel for each other (it made me laugh , cry and made my heart hurt) you left me wanting more and I can't wait for the book 2.

What a divine read. Characters hiding secrets and fighting their past. A man who gets what he wants at any cost, get in his way and he will use every resource to humble you. A woman whom if your lucky enough to be granted her love will sacrifice any thing to keep you safe. When the want and the sacrifice meet, it begins. I would recommend you gather your wine, snacks, fan ( because trust me you will need it ) and your tissue. You will not want to stop reading once you start.

If you ever need a Hot, Steamy, Thrill, without the whips and chains, then this is the book for you. I was never bored with this and could not put it down until I finished it all!! Zane gave me everything I hoped for and could possibly dream about! Dhalia was a true independent Queen and didn't take crap from anyone. This duo together was the perfect match, and brought out the silver lining in each other. I recommend this book for anyone who fantasizes about an Alpha Mafia Boss.

Another hit! Georgia Le Carre has created another cast of characters that will keep you turning the pages well into the night. I saw the blurb and was super excited for this book. Then within the first chapter I was worried. Very worried. I stuck it out and finished the book though. I actually ended up liking Zane, which shocked me. Dahlia through the whole whole book annoyed me, she came close to being tstl truthfully. The secondary characters are all very one dimensional so not even they can support the book. The only thing that earned it 2 stars? REALLY REALLY REALLY hot sex scenes.

Unlikeable characters, contrived plot, and the writing itself was just ok. ***Spoiler*** It started off bad with a friend's hysterics, then the H finger bangs the h against her will and when she leaves he screws some other chick with no care for her pleasure, while thinking of the h. It was all just sleazy to me and not in a good way at all. From then on the story just fell flat and I didn't like it at all. I skimmed and then just gave up.

Loved both stories included in this book. Great characters, hot sex scenes combined with compelling story lines. So happy to find this on the kindle unlimited list. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

WOW! Yet again another amazing book by Ms. Georgia. This book is full of hot sizzling scenes that will blew you away! Anyway, You Don't Own Me is Dahlia and Zane's story. From the start up to the last, I was hooked on this book! With Dahlia doing the thing she agreed to do after owing Zane a very huge favor/help, things will get more interesting and intense between the two. As the story goes, secrets will be revealed that will change things between Zane and Dahlia.

Love this book! I sometimes want to kick the living daylights out of Zane!!! uggghhh!!! Good thing he's hot! LOL

Why do authors have to pad their pockets all with or two serial stories and call them books. They are simply chapters of books. This reader is tired of it and would like to know up front this is a serial and not atrue book. There are enough books out there I do not need to waste my time on chapters of a book. GIVE ME ALL OR NOTHING....

This book simply left me breathless with the drama and intensity between Dahlia and Zane. You can literally feel the chemistry between these two as you turn the pages and I can not wait to jump in to the last book tomorrow.

This book was awesome. I was trapped from the first chapter. A sassy woman and a dominant Russian on my god when these to collide the sparks fly this is a must read. If you like bad boys you will love this one
