I am always looking for clean well written books. I really enjoyed these stories.
This book contains 3 separate novella's that tie into each other in a fun way! Perfect for when you want to read but don't have a lot of time.
Love the setting of Tangerine Street and how each individual story overlaps with the others. I was drawn in right at the beginning. These 3 authors have a wonderful writing style and create beautiful and exciting stories with compelling characters. When the first one ended I did not think the second could compare, but again it was great. All 3 were wonderful!
I am really looking forward to the next Tangerine Street book.
I was given a free copy for an honest review. I was not compensated in any way.

Collection of contemporary romance novellas, received an e-copy from one of the authors for an honest review.
My Review:
This collection of novellas are all connected by The Fortune Cafe. This is no ordinary Chinese Restaurant. I loved reading about the quirky characters that work at The Fortune Cafe. The setting of this restaurant and the folks that work in the area and, of course eat at The Fortune Cafe, are what make these 3 stories work.
I like that although the stories are written by 3 separate authors, they work together. I don't feel like I'm jumping in to a completely different world. That being said, the stories are separate and each would do well on its own.
The stories are clean, fun, and of course, full of romance.
Warnings: None
I would let my 16 year old read this collection.

I thoroughly enjoyed this 3-part story. While the 3 stories are separate, a few of the characters overlap just slightly and the cafe with it's first magic fortune for each person is the main thing that ties them together. I enjoyed the characters in each story and going with them on their journey to overcome their own individual struggles and find happiness at the same time. Great series, fun concept. I can't wait to read more of this series!

My favorite part about this book is that each section was so different, yet tied together so that it worked perfectly to have them together. You know? Ok. Basically, each author was different and had a different story. But together, it made sense because the characters in each part interacted with each other. I loved it. That's what I'm getting at. I thought it was brilliant.
Each story was very romantic and very real. All of the characters had to work for love in their own way, making them very realistic and easy to relate to. I love the idea of a "magic fortune cookie", especially because I think more than anything, it opened the characters' eyes to what they wanted in their lives and gave them the motivation to go get it.

Cute and sweet trio of novellas all intertwined and somehow all centered around a little Chinese restaurant. Clean romance involving real problems with real people you'd love to meet in real life. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading other books in the series.

The idea was genius! I loved how the three novellas go together and yet stand alone and I am looking forward to the next book in the series. The beach is a great backdrop to the stories and I love the idea of the next book being about another store on the tourist street. I really enjoyed the first and last stories, but I was disappointed by the mild swearing and off-color humor that seemed to be thrown into the second one. It didn't need it, and otherwise the story was okay.

Fun! Fun! Fun! What a clever idea! Three stories that all center around this Chinese cafe. It is set in a little tourist town on a California beach. The magic of it is that the first fortune you receive from this cafe comes true. In each story some of the characters from the other stories make an appearance. It is all cleverly tied together. Each story can be read in one evening, but has enough depth to make one feel satisfied. This story was originally released in March for St. Patrick's day. This works well as the stories have to do with being lucky in love. Intriguing characters and sweet stories!

The three sweet romances in this book are really sweet romances, but are each very individual and different. Just FYI - The second one has some very mild language. I loved the few situations where the characters from another story line pop up and we remember the interaction they had in the previous story from the other point of view. It really makes you think about the snapshots you see in the lives of others and wonder what those same moments in time look like to them.
Great collection of short stories. Well written and clean.

I loved how these stories tied together, it was a fantastic glimpse into the lives of three wonderfully complex characters, and the ones that love them. I struggle sometimes with novellas, because I like having a full story. But these were long enough that you got a full story in one book. I also loved guessing what the next story was going to be about just from the little clue they gave you in the first and second book. It was great and I recommend this to everyone!

Novellas at their best! Seriously, this has been my favorite novella collection that I have read. The romances were all well-written with likable characters and interesting plot twists. They all follow the same set-up. The main characters order a meal at the fortune café and once they read their fortune cookie it comes true. I really liked how the stories intersected a little bit and we got to see the characters in each others stories. It is fun and gave a sense of the little California community they all live in. All three of these authors are at the top of their writing game in this collection. Worth the read.

This is 3 novellas by some of my favorite authors in one book. The stories are associated with fortunes that were recieved at a Chinese restaurant in the form of a fortune cookie. The romances were sweet and clean. I enjoyed being able to read one novella a night and it not keeping me up all night reading it. I enjoyed this book and look forward to more from these authors.

I devoured these books and would highly recommend them to readers of all ages. They were fun, interesting, heartfelt, and romantic. Emma, Lucy, and Stella were all heroines I could relate to and would want to be friends with. I cheered for each of their happy endings.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, it was just cute and sweet and a great escape novel! Each story is unique and different, but they connect in unexpected ways. The idea of a restaurant with fortune cookies that come true is a delicious premise, and I would love to see even more stories come from the Fortune Cafe! The authors of these novellas are all experienced and well versed in their craft, which makes for a more an engaging read with different voices and story telling styles and techniques. Each story is sweet and can be read over and over. Loved it!!

I love the novella format and have enjoyed books by some of these authors previously so I was excited when I saw this book was available. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find both repeated profanity and a brief sexual reference (? not sure "sexual reference" is the correct term, but the imagery of two people hungrily kissing while rolling around on the beach is not something that I would call clean). The authors write well, and the concept with the three interlaced stories is great. I'm just very disappointed that the authors didn't decide to keep it clean and chaste. Thankfully, the store makes returning Kindle books very quick and easy!

I loved this book. Sometimes romance novels make me a little frustrated because the characters make such stupid decisions by not offering information, but just when I thought this one would be the same it wasn't. I liked how each individual story played off of the previous story. It was an easy read and very entertaining. I do recommend this book.

I liked that the first story set up the magic of the fortune cookies but would have liked the other stories to have discussed the magic as well... Also, I kept envisioning that first one as a Hallmark movie. I guess the scenes were well written because the "movie" was playing in my head as I read.
