This collects #1-6 of Infinity Gauntlet and I must state, this comic provides great significance within the Marvel Comic Universe! The range of characters and constant change of setting is outstanding whereas Jim also perfectly portrays Thanos of superior strength but somewhat can not achieve some tasks he desperately requires. Overall, this is a great comic to read as the ending provides pathways to more intriguing stories.

Solid, classical tale of hubris, love, and dysfunctional family, told at a cosmic level. Much of the story is told from in and around the villain, Thanos, which adds to his monstrousness and complexity.

Weirdly, the more developed Marvel heroes are generally written in a superficial manner, which I felt dropped it one star.

Great comic, with a great ending. There are so many story line that come together to tell this story. The art, and pacing are exceptional. Can't wait to see how Marvel turns this story in to a movie.

This was an absolutely fantastic read, on a cosmic scale! It is well-written, beautifully drawn, and each character is true to the Marvel canon. I highly recommend this book, especially with Marvel's Infinity War Part I and Part II movies coming up in a few years. It was so engaging I finished it in one sitting.

The baddest bad guy vs the greatest assembly of heroes in comicville. The series pulls out all the trump cards, and the writing and art is tremendous, supporting the plot superbly. Yeah, I liked it. A lot

Classic. I'm re-reading this before the upcoming Infinity War movie. And it's still awesome. I know the movie won't be the same, but its still awesome to see Thanos on the big screen. The storytelling and art is wonderful, and takes me back to my childhood when I read these for the first time.

This story is epic. Everything works so well and the ending is fantastic as well.

I do wish I had gotten the whole omnibus but this whole story is contained in this one book and you don't really need the side stories unless you are a completist.

As one somewhat unimpressed by Civil War, I must say that this series was amazing. The art and paneling are impressive considering the somewhat abstract and metaphorical nature of the story. Definitely worth the read!

What an excellent story with a villain who is anything but a flat character. Thanos has a lust for power, but he finds out that it's perks come with a price. Below death's affections now above them, Thanos revels in his own might. With power comes pride, and it is his downfall. But is losing ultimate power and ultimate responsibility really such a bad thing?

I bought this because I wanted to learn more about the Infinity stones and this book explains what is needed to understand what is coming up in the next two Avengers movies. I read the book as soon as it was delivered, I have nothing but good things to say.

Damn I love this story so much. Something I always knew bits and pieces of and read it for the first time in its full glory in my young adult years and it's just so awesome. Thanos is just such a complex and cool ass villain, the gauntlet is absolutely amazing, seeing these different versions of characters like The Hulk (wearing a shirt and talking), Thor (who isn't really the real Thor but they don't explain what or why), characters taking a smoke break, the full celestial lineup, it's just such a cool cosmic story. Check it out!

Killing Joke, V for Vendatta, Watchmen. Graphic, comic book, Novels and Masterpieces. The Infinity Gauntlet is ranked among them. One of the most epic stories ever told. The death, and rebirth of the Marvel Universe.

A cosmic love story, full of loss and anger, yet always retaining that sense of hope. That sense of, no matter how much we sacrifice, we will prevail. Truly one of the best graphic novels ever written. Jim Starlin writes a tale of a god born, and what absolute power can do to corrupt even the most powerful. Beautifully illustrated by George Perez and Ron Limm.

Also, if planning to see the upcoming Infinity War movie don't be surprised when it bears little resemblance to the storyline of the comics. It's just not possible to recreate something as far reaching on film, and if it was, audiences wouldn't get it.

What a ride! It started pretty slow but what great twists and turns they were. I expect vision to replace Adam Warlock in the movie and I hope Nebula still has her role as well. I can't wait to see what the movie ends up doing

Nihilism? Well, if you're going to speculate about a God, you might as well see how super heroes (and villains) would deal with it. This Marvel classic has it all...and is about it all too! Arguably one of the best Marvel story arcs of all time.
