This book is great! Besides the enticing cadence and simplicity of the rhymes, this is a hilarious book! Bob appears to be out of sync with his brothers, but in reality is much more aware. Multiple readings are a must, and highly requested by my 18 month old. Although I think this book is great for early readers with the simple rhyming words, and good plot.

This book has it all: rhyme, bright colors, and silliness. The only thing missing is a board book edition! My 13 month-old boy pages through this so frequently that I am taping ripped pages after only 2 weeks of use. It's a beautiful, fun book but I wish there was a sturdier version for my voracious book worm.
An Account of the Ripper Killings by Dr. John H. Watson :: As Chimney Sweepers Come to Dust - A Flavia de Luce Novel :: Ask the Dust :: The Dust Bowl: An Illustrated History :: Dust and Obey (Squeaky Clean Mysteries Book 10)

Another wonderful book by Jan Thomas. This one is a departure from the previous cast of charming animals. Instead it is about four charming dust bunnies. Whoever heard about a book about dust bunnies. The drawings of these four dust bunnies are large and in vivid color. They are not only winning in their looks but they rhyme with enthusiasm - except for the fourth dust bunny who appears to be a little slow in the brain and can't rhyme as his friends can. But of course he turns out to be focused in another direction and isn't slow at all. It's a funny and beautifully drawn book which will appeal to children and adults alike.

The Rhyming Dust Bunnies quickly became a class favorite last year. I didn't expect much of a rhyming book... but it's surprisingly entertaining. I already need to order a new copy, because it has been loved more than it can handle!

RHYMING DUST BUNNIES by Jan Thomas with its bold colors, simple illustrations and gentle humor is a great way to introduce preschoolers to rhyming. A fun title to begin the youngest readers' journey in language arts. Recommended

I used this book with 6 kindergarten classes. They LOVED it and wanted me to read it to them more than once. They thought it was funny that Bob has trouble rhyming. You need to follow this up with Here Comes the Big Mean Dust Bunny by Jan Thomas...Bob finally learns to rhyme!

I have two paperback copies of this book bought with bonus points through scholastic years ago. This book has passed the test of time and so today I sat down an ordered myself a hardbound copy for my personal bookshelf. Not only is this book a great way to add enrichment to a lesson on rhyming words--an important part of a child's development of phonemic awareness, but it's just so clever and fun to read with dramatic voices. And I'm sorry, but I just can't take anyone named "Bob" seriously anymore.

So while this looks like a great book in hard copy, not in any way acceptable on the Kindle/iPad.
