Nora Ephron's collection of essays, "I Feel Bad About My Neck" was published (I think) in 2006 and I just got around to reading it. Such is the length of my reading list. I'm from Nora's generation and she resonates with me. It takes no time to read and is so funny and insightful and droll, I'll go back and re-read some of essays, keep them around for reference. All are good. My least-favorite was "I Feel Bad About My Neck." Otherwise I might have clicked on the fifth star.

Oh my God .. every woman - no matter the age - should read this book. I wish I had read it in my 20's or 30's and am afraid too much damage by 60! Gave it to both my 30 something daughters and told them to pay attention. I wasn't thrilled that the author read it - a bit too deadpan but soon realized that no one else could have done it justice. I loved it!

Great read -- funny and smart. Nora Ephron at her best. Reading this is like falling into New York at a certain time in history and being there with the best of the best - a crowd that was intelligent, witty, gracious, sophisticated. Every moment spent with this book is a joy. My copy arrived in the time frame and condition promised. I couldn't be more pleased!

The late, great Nora Ephrom makes me laugh out loud--hard and with emphasis on the LOUD. Whatever life part, or crisis, or relationship you're going through, Nora's comments are side-splitting--and wise. A great gift to yourself, and to your girlfriends!

Nora Ephron continues to take a humorous look at life and her revealing account of her aging is right on the mark for those of us growing old along with her. Her writing style is, as usual, so easy and pleasant to read.

A good quick read for a plane or train or ship. She will make you laugh at her as well as at yourself

Nora Ephron's "I Feel Bad About My Neck..." delivers humor and humility on the issue of aging, and what it's like for middle aged women in the 21st century. Both empowering and funny, she shares her own journey in this new stage in life. I enjoy her work.

This book is a good comedy reading for all woman..... Not recommending it for man for it mostly deals with things that a woman would get cause they go through the same issues. Had me laughing from the very first page.

All my friends in the "right age group" agree Nora Ephron has pegged it! I went through the same cooking phase so was particularly delighted with her own observations and outcomes. I would recommend it for any light reading. Book club read it and everybody enjoyed. I've bought four as gifts

This book didn't hold my interest very well. Some parts were funny and I could relate but most of it I felt was self absorbed and that's not of my interest. We need to let ourselves grow old gracefully and not be so obsessed by aging.

I have loved Nora Ephron for years. Have seen all of her movies but this is my first book. She writes like we women think. She is brutally honest but puts a hysterical spin on life.
Highly recommend this book, especially if you are over 50.

Thankfully this was a quick read, because I didn't like it at all. The only reason I gave it two stars and not one was ONE chapter "What I Wish I'd Known". Other than that it was a pessimistic/complaining/negative view on everything, especially getting old. I also didn't care for the way it was written in a collection of short stories, which jumped back and forth in time and were choppy. I read this for book club and would not recommend it to anyone.
