She does a good job of relating Bible occurences to modern life. I haven't finished the book yet, but would just love it if she would finish 'Ruthie's' story from the introduction (which is her personal story--and quite scary).

Good weekly discussion with a group of women, some reading the Bible for the first time. The title of the book caused some curiosity and interest to be open to reading the book and meeting to discuss what we can learn from God and these women.

I found this book to be very interesting; bibical; and I liked the way the author commented on each of the Bible Bad Girls and how she matched the bibical story with modern tmes. I would recommend this book to anyone and even to Sunday School teachers.

Author writes her own, fictional stories that correspond with the historical characters of the Bible. She also adds touches of humor, but helps the reader develop a deeper understanding of how God used these women and changed some of them into heroes.

Our women's group recently completed this study. We are a very diverse group age-wise - from ages 35-70, and all found Ms. Higgs presentation of these "Bad Girls" entertaining but, more importantly, thought-provoking, moving from modern story illustrations to biblical accounts. Many eye-opening points never considered before.

Very interesting and well written book. Explains how the women got themselves into trouble and God's willingness to forgive us of all our stupid mistakes. He is always there for us and willing to forgive.

Great book! Love the way the author tells the story in today's time, and then the story from the bible. Plus then she gives you things you can learn from these stories. Would highly recommend this book.

This book is great and her illustrations are good. The only critique I have is sometimes she tries to be funny and pushes her use of puns which brings a chuckle here and there but is often really distracting and takes me out of the story/lesson. Otherwise it's great, and I haven't quite seen a book written like this. Highly recommend it!

Another terrific, easy read by one of my very favorite authors, Liz Curtis Higgs. Liz makes learning about the Bible, a lot of fun. She brings these women into today's timeframe, and makes you want to keep reading.

Our women's Bible study is really enjoying Bad Girls of the Bible! Liz Curtis Higgs really fleshes out the stories of those ancient bad girls but also parallels them with modern day tales of equallly bad girls. Highly recommend this book!

Our Bible Study group is also using this to study women in the Bible. It was a great book, and I have passed it around to some of my friends in the class. The book itself was in excellent condition.

This book is very well written and illustrates that the bible stories are relevant in today's world. I Recommend this for study groups, etc.
In our hearts, there is a little "bad girl" in all of us. Loved this book and still use it for reference.
