My daughter absolutely loves Dr. Seuss, which is a pleasure to watch from my perspective. The books are small and sturdy, easily handled by a small child. The print quality is excellent. The content, well that speaks for itself... greater minds than my own have reviewed Dr. Seuss's work, I am certain in a favorable manner.

perfect size for my little ones to hold and explore, and they love the stories and it's little container. My 18 month old sees the box and points to it whenever he wants to read one of the books. My 4 month old loves the bright colors and imagery.

This set includes four real real Dr. Seuss books in a small board book format perfect for little hands. We have had these books for about a year and I have mixed feelings about the set.

Hop On Pop: this book contains some violent imagery that I don't think is appropriate for babies. I wouldn't recommend this book for children of any age really.

Oh the Thinks You Can Think: this book is very imaginative and my daughter mostly likes it, but it has a few pages that are a little scary. I think it would be more appropriate for an older kid.
Also, my wife is a kindergarten teacher and she noticed that the full size version of Oh the Thinks You Can Think has more pages than the small board book included in this set. They edited out a couple of pages to fit it into the board book. They may have done so for the other books but I can't confirm.

The Shape of Me and Other Stuff: my daughter loves this book. It has a good message about how things and people come in all different shapes and sizes.

Ten Apples Up On Top: my daughter loves this book. Every time she reads it, she wants to eat apples, which is nice but it gets old eventually. The story is these three animals are competing to see how many apples they can balance on their heads. It teaches kids to count, which is good, but it also teaches an unsportsmanlike bragging form of competition when I would rather teach my daughter about sportsmanship and perhaps cooperation.

I give this set three stars because it is a good value. I got a lot of real Dr. Seuss books for a low price. But the bottom line is that I wouldn't have bought all of the books if I were choosing individually. You would be better off picking out which books you like and buying them individually.
Put Me in the Zoo (I can read it all by myself' Beginner Books) :: Five Fish (Dr. Seuss Nursery Collection) - Two Fish :: Wacky Wednesday (Beginner Books(R)) :: Hop on Pop (Big Bright & Early Board Book) :: The Foot Book: Dr. Seuss's Wacky Book of Opposites

I wish these were more classic Seuss and that they were easier to get out of the box. I have to keep one permanently out of the box if I want to pull any of them out. Still, I like the bright colors and the fact that there's a box at all.

I absolutely love Dr. Seuss books and now so does my toddler. I couldn't wait to start reading Dr. Seuss books with him, but he isn't old enough to know not to rip the pages, so these books are perfect!!
