A good book to help emphasis some common sense ideas about how people respond and are productive. Definitely worth a read if you haven't read something similar. I've thought about giving it to my wife and my employees.

Liz Wiseman presents an excellent model for getting the most from an organization. Most managers know they need to empower their staff, but here is book to provide the rationale and guidelines for doing so.

Multipliers painted a clear and attractive picture of the leader many of us aspire to be. At the same time it named the flip side - diminisher. That's too often what we become with some of our hard wired habits. This book helped me see what I can do today.

Anyone can take away some good insights from this book. It's a quick read (we read it aloud to each other while waiting for a ferry). Taking away one star because we felt she went out of her way to be verbose to lend credibility.
If you can say it in a sentence, why draw it out for 5 pages?

I read this cover to cover on Kindle, flagging pages, and am going back over it to get the key ideas "fixed" in my thinking. I've already started making some shifts in my approach to my all-volunteer workforce. Too soon to tell how things will come out but I feel confident that good will come of it.

Outstanding and relevant to anyone that manages other folks. A few areas in Chapter 4 where they go off the reservation a bit with weird references to Jimmy Carter and B Obama....but overall, very good book.

I read a ton of business/leadership/management books, most are "good" some are "great" a few are "game changing" (E-Myth, Effective Executive, Lynchpin). Multipliers fits the "game changing" mold in my humble opinion. I've been leading a handful of different business' as an "accidental diminisher" for over 11 years, with relative success. I've consistently struggled with the concept of getting my team to "own" their responsibilities in their respective organizations. Multipliers has shown me the light, and I can finally understand why I've had such a tough time with building a consistently "responsible" crew. I have a new-found sense of excitement and optimism just knowing that there is a way to get better performances from the "smart" individuals on my team, while at the same time making it more enjoyable for them to perform. Highly recommended!

Is extremely embarrassing that I see so much of myself in this book. It is also hard to see how hard it is to break bad habits. At least I am convinced the are bad habits. Progress is slow but gratifying.

I've purchased multiple copies of this book to spread the word on this refreshing leadership approach which is so needed in today's corporate culture and in the family home. I was introduced to Liz Wiseman's brilliant yet simple concept at the Global Leadership Summit. Her message is compelling. May we all capture that vision to lead as multipliers!

I learned some very good ideas from this book. The biggest take away for me is the simple concept that I no longer have to solve issues on my own intelligence but may now draw from the intelligence of the organization.

This book open my eyes to true leadership that helps your team shine brighter than the leader. Reading Multipliers inspired us to uncover each team member's native genius and this has been an absolute game changer for our business. That is just one of many incredibly valuable ideas from Liz and Greg's book. It is in my Top 3 Business book (alongside Good To Great, and Mastering the Rockefeller Habits)

This is truly the best leadership book I have ever read. The job of the leader is to get others to perform well and Multipliers tells you how to do this effectively. I highly recommend this read for anyone who leads in any way (or wants to someday)!

Well written and organized. The end of chapter summaries make it easy to take away the key points and think about how to apply them. For me, they also highlighted that the key points of the book could be made in about a dozen pages. Also, half way through the book the author tries to compare decision making styles of Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama- needlessly bringing politics into the picture. Comparing 8 years of decision making during some of the most difficult times this country has faced from one person, with less than a 2 year timespan from the other (2010 - and the statements from those two years don't hold up 4 years later) reduces credibility. I'll look elsewhere for leadership advice

This book is TRULY amazing. I've read many leadership books and this one, by far, outshines them all. Multipliers has principles and steps to bring about a significant change in people and cultures...including myself. The writer uses real-life business examples and well-written logic to enlighten the mind of anyone interested in being a person who others enjoy being around since he/she knows everyone has it in them to solve business problems.

We need multipliers everywhere - at work, at home, and in the community. Multipliers gave me a framework to start observing the daily geniuses all around me, to learn from them, to challenge my own assumptions about people and myself, and ultimately, become a better person and leader. I'd highly recommend it.
