Great story, but it got a bit repeptitive. The protagonist was too dislikable in the beginning to have successfully completed a transformation into a lovable and charismatic person. All the others characters, however, were believable and consistent.

This is a book about a heart transplant recipient in Northern Ireland looking for meaning in her life and finding love, acceptance, and peace. It's a tear-jerker, to use a common American term, and I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys a good read!

The portrayal of the protagonist's feeling and emotions and reactions was something I connected well too.. desire to be positive but inevitably being human and going down a spiral and then resurfacing again felt all too real. Theme touched a chord and left me inspired!

Such an amazing story. I was inspired to live life differently. I lost my Mother a few months ago. She had been sick for quite some time. I too had lost my way, but reading this story reminded me that her spirit lives on just like Lucy. Time to dance and embrace life's opportunities.

This was well written and brought home the importance of organ donation. I did not really like Maggie much which speaks to how well written and face it, human, she was. The final chapters were lovely in a bittersweet way. Good read!

Wanted a light read and landed up seeing life differently. This book will open your eyes & heart and will make you appreciate your life & health. Truly emotional reading. It will make you contemplate & live "fully"

It is interesting that the story is titled "The Legacy of Lucy Harte" because the main story drives from the fact that the main character received a life saving heart transplant from Lucy Harte. I liked all of the connections in the story (main character connects with donor's brother after many years and lives out donor's list of wishes), but the end was good but sad.

Beautiful, heart-breaking story, both sad and funny. Grabs you from the very beginning to the inevitable yet hopeful end. Chapeau Emma Heatherington.
