I purchased this book after enjoying Jennifer's first book the Intercessor's Handbook. I truly did enjoy this read and was enlightened by the Holy Spirit as I read it. It confirmed many things that I'd experienced but never had a full understanding of. It also assured me that all this time I wasn't "crazy" but had a powerful gift from God that needs to be further cultivated. I definitely recommend this book!

After reading The Intercessors Handbook was more than excited to get this one. The Holy Spirit is alive and active in our lives. He is communicating with us through our senses...all of them. All my life I have been able to sense/know/feel things about people and situations that so many others do not. In the past this has caused me to second guess myself, even as a grounded Christian. This book puts language to what I’ve always experienced and I can’t thank Jennifer enough for putting it in words. I highly recommend this book.

Dodgy indeed. Attributes Holy Spirit healing and presence to angels; examples of when she uses discernment of demons in others to judge instead of to intercede, deliver or mentor; interesting she struggles to cast out Spirit of Jezebel ( her own words in book). Needs to become more mature in knowing how to use this gift so it builds up the body of Christ instead of turning on people and tearing them down. Bill Subritzky has better, free inline material on this subject, plus a reputable ministry while he was alive.

I am always interested in learning more about this subject and I have a desire to be more sensitive to what is going on around me supernaturally. I have read other books similar to this and have enjoyed them. I liked this book as well.
I appreciated how Jennifer talked not only about seeing the negative things but also seeing positive things, like angels. She also discusses picking up on things from other people and things they might carry with them. I really like learning the name of some spirits and their function and how they attack us. This makes it so much easier to come against them, knowing their function and how they try to take us down.
If you find this subject interesting I highly recommend this book.
A copy of this book was given to me through Netgalley.com. All opinions are my own.

Seeing the Supernatural is a very interesting book. The author states she has been into the occult since she was young because of her parents and that she's saw ghosts which she now knows as demons her whole life from a very young child to now. She states we can see them or at least feel them , but in Scripture it says that the gift of discernment is given to someone not all – at least that is how I read it – I could be wrong. She seems to believe every single one of us have or will see a demon or can even be not possess but occupied by one . It does not go into depth about the subject in a way I had not read before and was very interested and could understand it very well and it was a very wonderful book and it was very short compared to every other book I have read, I truly enjoyed this book. I received a copy of this book from the Publisher and Netgalley; all the opinions expressed in this review are all my own.

Pre-purchased this book because of reading the author's previous book "The Intercessors Handbook." I've gained great insight and understanding about prayer through Pastor Jennifer Eviaz. I'm a couple chapters in to the subject book and I'm having a hard time putting the book down. Jennifer speaks into a gift that is vaguely covered by most. She brings new language and understanding through personal experience about the gift of discerning of spirits. This gives a new dimension to a gift that is hard to understand, and possibly harder to mature and grow in with wise sage like wisdom.

Jennifer Eivaz puts words to what many people experience and yet don't understand. Understanding the gift of discernment leads to being able to effectively utilize this needed tool in the body of Christ. She also normalizes spiritual experiences that often have been misidentified or, even worse, labeled as crazy. If you have this gift, this teaching will help you function at a higher level. If you're a spiritual leader, this teaching will give you insight into what some of your flock are walking in so you can fit them into their assigned role in the body. Peace & blessings Jennifer.

I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in navigating the spiritual realm without going nuts. I especially recommend it for pastors and leaders who have those under their leadership, who have supernatural encounters and do not understand what is happening to them. It gives clarity to those experiences with a solid biblical approach. This book is more than a great read, it's also a powerful equipping tool.

This is without a doubt the best book ever written about the "gift" discerning of spirits! This book takes the spookiness out of spirits, equips the saints to be effective and helps people identify this gift. You really need this one!

Jennifer Eivaz has away of making the supernatural seem so natural! In this book you’ll find just how normal you actually are especially for those who operate in the gift of discerning of spirits. I highly recommend this book to leaders and those who train in any kind of prayer ministry or for those who are wanting to learn more about the gift of discerning of spirits.

Jennifer validates, and articulates this poorly understood gift brilliantly. If life is climbing a rock face, this book is full of new hand-holds and foot grips - I'm no longer dangling from my climbing rope bewildered! Jennifer puts vague feelings and concepts into clear words so I know what to do next with this unique "gift". And she's lived every word she preaches, which gives me a sense of safety in her wisdom. Love you Jen!

I just finished the book today. Jennifer Eivaz shared her heart, wisdom, and experience in this book. I give her a two thumbs up. I now have more understanding to discern my surroundings and when to or not to take action on what is discerned.

Amazing book!! Highly recommend it, worth it's weight in gold and more just in the incredible revelation truth presented in a "hard to put the book down kind of way". Understanding and clarity are some of the gifts you receive as you digest this meaty book ?????
