I love everything that Jill Shalvis writes, but this was not my favorite. I wanted more "encounters" between Stone and Emma and less angst. Emma is so uptight that I wanted to shake her several times to see the big sexy man in front of her. I always recommend reading her books in order to better know the characters in the series which I didn't do with this one. I think her Lucky Harbor series is better than this one.

The Wilder guys are hot, hot, hot! I enjoyed this book and do plan to read the 3rd book in the series next. Emma's relationship with her father overshadowed the romance a bit in the beginning, but also helped explain her actions in the relationship budding with Stone. Overall, it's an enjoyable an enticing romance!

Have read other books by this author, this is not one of her best. Have read the other two Wilder series books and they are much better than this one. Nice set up for other two books but not as a stand alone read.
My Kind of Wonderful (Cedar Ridge) :: Always on My Mind (A Lucky Harbor Novel) :: Animal Magnetism (An Animal Magnetism Novel) :: All I Want (An Animal Magnetism Novel) :: Accidentally on Purpose: A Heartbreaker Bay Novel

Great book, some fun hot scenes... but can I just say that I HATE this cover? I had to avert my eyes to avoid spoiling Stone's description from the book. At least make an effort to match the cover with the characters. This dude looks like a pencil-necked preppie, not a rugged outdoorsman.

This book was equally as good as Instant Attraction!Couldn't put down until I finished. Jill at her best, even though I could say that about all her books, new or old. Stone and Emma's story was fun. His wild ways and her prim and proper ways clash in the beginning, but are fun to read. If you like Jill Shalvis books, then you don't want to miss this series!
