Janet Begay is a favorite character of mine, and I've loved the series since its start. Nightwalker delves into the life of Ansel, who has lived in the Crossroads hotel through several books. The trouble/fun/excitement starts at the first page and continues to the last one. If you enjoy paranormal reading with romance, you'll love this series!

I love this series!! This series has it all. Smart, quirky, talented and heartwarming characters with a fast paced and interesting plot that keeps you guessing with every page you turn. I couldn't put it down! Five stars is not enough.

Allyson James has created a rich world set in the Southwest US peopled by a variety of supernatural beings. We have Native American Gods and Stormwalkers, witches, mages, shifters, vampires (Nightwalker), and dragons (Oh My!) Pick your favorite supernatural and there's an excellent chance that it lives in Janet Begay's world.
I've been anxiously awaiting Nightwalker for the last year and it doesn't disappoint! Janet is not a sit by the wayside heroine. She's a Harley driving, kick-ass heroine whose is not afraid to cause a little destruction to get the job done, which in this case is keeping Nightwalker, Ansel, safe from slayers and finding an object of immense power before it's used to destroy everything and everyone Janet holds dear.
I love the characters in the Stormwalker series. They're well developed and captivating. But as the series has grown, so has the number of characters and sadly not all of them appear in Nightwalker, are just mentioned, or have a limited role in the overall story. One of my favorites is Nash, the Hopi County Sheriff. He does have a pretty important role in Nightwalker and we see him a few times, but he's not busting Janet's chops the way I love nearly enough. I'm also wondering what happened with Jamison, Janet's best friend and mentor, after a rather nasty altercation between the two of them? Hopefully we'll hear more from them in upcoming books.
The Stormwalker series needs to be one of your Must Reads!

A pretty good mystery for Janet and the gang, involving everything from mages to dragons to gods. I was a little confused about the stuff going on with Coyote and didn't think the "re-introduction" of a villain with the initials ES made a lot of sense unless you read the HEXED novella, but I loved Ansel's entire storyline. The action scenes near the end were intense, and the characters were just as loveable as before. Everyone got some book time, which I really loved. Looking forward to the next book!

A very interesting paranormal tale filled with dragons, vampires, shaman and gods. This novel seems to be the middle of a serues but I can understand why the authir tossed it up free. It is a great standaline that will wet appetites for the first three and beyond. Definitely glad I picked it jp.

This is a very nice story, the storyline is great the characters are very well defined, you will love them all. It is a tale of magic and supernatural being surviving and trying to live a peaceful life, while fighting of other supernatural beings who are bent on destroying any one our any thing that gets in their way. All of this whole living among normal people, and trying to keep their abilities hidden. Great story!

This was a very fun read from a different perspective. The sexual content is adult and I do not suggest it for teens but adults should enjoy it, while it does not detract from the plot. The main character is really a "character" but a fun one to know and experience. I look forward to her continued exploits and her opinions and outlooks are refreshing in their originality.

I really enjoyed all the different paranormal beings in one area. I did not read the book for the sex and I'm happy to say that the author didn't dwell on it. As part of the story they enjoyed them selves. Fast paced & exciting.
