Finishing this book broke my heart!! I wanted it to go on and on! I have read thousands of books, but this one really touched me. I could feel the emotions with the characters it was so well written. Having the cubs play such a big role just made this book better. Jennifer Ashley is an awesome author, who gets better with every book she creates.

Jennifer Ashley continues her Shifter Unbound series with book six, Wild Wolf. The world building in this series is excellent and fans of paranormal romance will love learning about how all of the super natural creatures interact. Ashley blends the paranormal with a strong romance between a human and a shifter, that defies the rules of the pack. The hero has almost forgotten how to love until he meets a woman who is willing to fight for what she loves. Two twin wolf cubs add humor and family bonds to the mix and Ashley will thrill readers with lots of action and sizzling romance.

What I liked:

Diving into book six of a series is not often a fun thing to do. Readers often feel left out, especially if there is an overall series arc. But Jennifer Ashley has a knack for making her books stand alone, while still being linked by characters and situations. I didn't feel at all left out of the loop as sometimes happens when I start in the middle. There was enough background for me to pick up on the essentials, though I do want to go back and read the others.

The whole concept of Shiftertowns and the way they were set up was really interesting to me. They reminded me of Native American reservations which is somewhat distasteful to me. I liked the idea that the inhabitants stuck together and worked to create their own identities as a community. The world building was probably my favorite part of this one. There were several different types of shifters and different breeds. There were other paranormal beings including one of my favorites, the Fae. It was fun to read Ashley's ideas on the mythology involved and readers who get into the dynamics of packs and that sort of thing will love this one.

I liked the fact that Ashley chose to make the heroine a human. Misty wasn't your average girl though. She had some grit and edge to her that made her the perfect mate for Graham, who could be a little surly and hard to get along with. She loved him for all of his bad parts, as well as, the good and she stood by him and fought for those she cared about. I love a strong female lead and Misty certainly fit the bill. She also had a gentle side that came out when she dealt with the wolf cubs that showed a real vulnerability in her. A great heroine.

Graham was so alpha. He was used to being charge of his own fate and coming to a shiftertown where he was not the top dog was difficult for him, but not as much as losing his first mate was. He has basically walled off his heart and he hides behind a facade of gruffness and downright ornery behavior to keep his pack and Misty at a distance. But walls show some cracks when it comes to taking care of the wolf twins and when Misty is kidnapped. He deserved a strong female counterpart and Ashley gave him one. Together these two were unstoppable.

There was tons of action in this book including a plot by the fae that threatened all shifters and their towns. There was some serious love scenes that may require a cold drink and a fan to get through and there was a lot of familial bonds and friendships that Ashley explored along the way. There was more than one couple in this book, which provides other areas of interest and kept the book interesting. I definitely want to read more.

What I didn't like:

Not too much to say here. I loved the world building, adored the characters, was totally surprised at some of the plot twists, intrigued by the fae machinations and completely taken in by the cubs. Nope nothing to report that I didn't like.

Bottom Line:

I'm not quite sure how I missed this series. But I'm glad to have found it. Readers who love a good strong pairing in the hero and heroine will really enjoy this one. Those that have think shifters should stay with shifters (paranormal racism if you will) might not be as enthusiastic. I loved it!

Quick & Dirty: Extremely sexy story filled with action and great characters. I wouldn’t say it was the most memorable story but it was certainly enjoyable!

Opening Sentence: Graham McNeil slammed his massive fist into the jaw of the attacking wolf just as his cell phone rang.

The Review:

Graham McNeil is the leader of his pack and recently they had to relocate to a new Shiftertown. His wolves haven’t taken the adjustment as well as he would have hoped and Graham will do anything to help stabilize things, even take a new mate. He has only mated once and things ended tragically, so Graham has treaded carefully when it comes to giving away his heart. For the last eight months he has been dating a human girl named Misty, which is fine for now but his pack expects him to mate with one of their own. But when Misty is kidnapped by a group looking for revenge, Graham will stop at nothing to save her. Soon he is pitted against an extremely dangerous enemy that could destroy not only him, but all of his kind.

Misty was a great heroine that I had fun getting to know. She was witty, smart and resourceful. I love it when a girl can hold her own against the villains and doesn’t have to rely on the male character to always save her. Misty doesn’t need a man to take care of her but she doesn’t refuse help if it’s offered either, which I really liked. I also liked that she wasn’t afraid of a challenge, she faced her problems head on and running away was never an option. She was a strong female character that was really easy to like and connect with.

Graham was a very sexy man that could be extremely frustrating, but somehow that just made him sexier. Being the leader of his pack is really stressful and you can tell that he was created for the job. He knows how to take charge and he’s not afraid of a fight. But he is also compassionate and cares about his pack. He is pretty hot-headed at times and loses his temper quite often, but he also knows when he needs to apologize, which is a really important trait a good leader needs. He was a great love interest that was easy to drool over!

I loved watching the relationship between Misty and Graham develop. They had red hot chemistry and lots of delicious sexual tension running between them. But they also really balanced each other out. Misty wouldn’t take Graham’s crap and she wasn’t afraid to stand up to him. But she also loved him for who he was and didn’t want him to change. I thought that they were adorable together and it was fun to read their story.

Wild Wolf was a very steamy paranormal romance that I flew right through. I don’t usually read adult books because I am more of a YA/NA fan, but when I got asked to read and review this I thought I would give it a try. I’m glad I did, it was a fun read that kept me entertained for a few hours. I’m not going to lie, this wasn’t a very memorable story and I’ll probably never read it again but I still enjoyed it. I loved that the characters were more mature and acted like adults. It was refreshing to be inside an older characters head for once. This is the sixth book in this series and I have not read the rest of the previous books, but this stood alone just fine. There were a few of the characters mannerisms and some of the things they talked about that did confuse me at times, but overall, I felt that this was just fine as a standalone. Overall, I think this was a fun read and I would recommend it to anyone that likes a fast paced, sexy paranormal romance story.

Notable Scene:

She lifted the spoon to her mouth. Graham’s gaze fixed on her even tighter. Misty moved her tongue out and licked up a dollop from her spoon.

A growl sounded in Graham’s throat, one so soft Misty knew only she could hear it. She took another lick of cream from the spoon. Graham sat so still he might have been carved into the chair, but his chest rose and fell sharply.

His face held the hardness of a man who’d survived on his strength alone for a long time, but Misty had always seen something in him besides the hardness. The tiny lines that feathered from the corners of his eyes, for example. He got them from laughing—Graham was a man not afraid to laugh. He could roar with it. Scars crisscrossed his cheekbones, and his nose had been broken, several times, he’d told her. His face was sunburned from their adventure today, but even that was healing, his skin settling into its usual liquid tan.

The sun-bronzing made his eyes stand out even more, the gray turning to silver as he watched her lick another bit of ice cream. She moved her tongue around the mound on the spoon and drew it back between her lips . . .

Graham snarled. With one flick of his big hand, he sent the ice cream bowl flying across the table to shatter on the floor.

I pretty much threw caution to the wind and grabbed this one simply because I was in the mood for a new shifter romance. Middle of a series, ignored the blurb...yep, it was an impulse grab and then it just sat. Thankfully, I've been busy pulling things off the shelf that need to be read and this was one of them because I had an absolute blast reading this. My only issue is that I wish I had started from the beginning since I could tell that I was in the middle of a series. Not that it didn't work as a standalone, but there was just this sense that it was connected to other stories.

The story is part of a creative world where shifters came out to the humans, the humans freaked, and now shifters are treated as less than second-class citizens, shunted to reservation-like towns and forced to wear control collars. Shifters aren't the only supernaturals, but just the ones that are known.

The story begins with Graham McNeil, an alpha wolf shifter, and his clan of shifters forced out of their shifter town in Northern Nevada and forced to integrate with another shifter town pack outside Las Vegas because the humans want to consolidate. It's a hard integration because his pack is close to feral and were already struggling with the adjustment of being forced into a shifter town after the freedom of the wild let alone now being forced to move again. Humans don't get that Graham is an alpha in his own right and can't just defer to the alpha of the town just because. There is also the fact that his unstable pack needs him to take a mate and secure their future leadership. Graham is already pushing things with his human girl friend, Misty. He knows that he eventually has to mate another shifter, but it is to Misty with her acceptance, her smiles, and her tender heart that he is drawn. And when Misty is in trouble, he will do anything he can for her.

Misty loves her flower shop and enjoys dating the big gruff wolf shifter who puts fear and caution on the faces of ever human and shifter he encounters. He is loud, obnoxious and has no tender side, but she cares for him deeply and wishes that their relationship stood a chance of growing into something solid. Misty knows the score with Graham. Then her life takes a turn for the bad when a gang run by an ex-con who her brother screwed over while inside prison destroys her shop, assaults her and threatens to do much worse if she doesn't tell him where her brother is. Misty tricks him into letting her phone her brother when she is really calling Graham. Her rescue takes place and she gets to see Graham in all his alpha wolf glory, but learns that someone else orchestrated all this to trap a shifter. Now Misty is drawn into Graham's world and they must figure out a way to work together if they are to get out of this new trouble. In the meantime, they are both confounded by growing feelings of attachment and attraction that make it impossible to imagine a future separation.

This story was exciting, humorous, hot, intriguing, and just an all around good time. I loved the creative worldbuilding and the engaging characters. The plot moved along at a good pace and I loved the intense, tight corners the author put the characters in and the imaginative solutions. The misfit family that Graham had with his nephew and the twin foster cubs along with Misty was my favorite part. Graham and Misty's romance was rough and had lots of interruptions and bumps, but I liked them together.

All in all, this was an exciting read and has me eager to grab up more from the series. Paranormal Romance fans particularly those who love shifters should definitely give these a try.

My thanks to Penguin Group for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

After reading two disappointing books from two of other my favorite authors I was really looking for Jennifer Ashley to deliver—and she did!

Graham is without question my favorite Alpha in the series. He’s that perfect combination of confident, arrogant, abrasive and noble. I love that Jennifer Ashely—more than once—mentions that he’s not ‘obviously’ handsome and is scarred but that he’s still sexy as hell, and he is! My very favorite thing though was that Graham stayed Graham throughout the whole book. A lot of time authors have characters make these BIG personality changes once they couple up, and that did NOT happen here (I can’t even put into words how thrilled I was about that! Seriously). Graham is a rough, uncouth and aggressive guy that yells more than he talks—from beginning to end—even as circumstances change and starts admitting that he has deeper feelings for Misty, even when things are great, he is who he is, unapologetically. Also, Graham’s struggles with his nephew Dougal and the twins (while simultaneously bearing sole responsibility for the whole pack) will resonate with every parent—because honestly, it’s nice to read about characters that have responsibilities most people relate to; a lot of characters we read about are single, selfish and can afford to throw tantrums here and there, NOT SO when you’re the boss, a parent, or otherwise charged with the welfare & well-being of someone else!! So that was another huge plus.

Every heroine has that will-I-won’t-I battle that usually (exasperatingly) lasts a LOT longer than it needs to, and while Misty does have that battle it is very short-lived (thankfully). Once she realizes Graham is the one in serious trouble she is in it until the end, despite Graham’s best efforts to force her out of it. Her naivete causes problems (as it would anyone thrown into a culture they’ve had limited exposure to), anchoring this paranormal story in a reality everyone can grasp. Another bonus was how she was portrayed sexually: she wasn’t a virgin, she wasn’t shy, she OWNED her sexuality and her desires, which was not only AWESOME and really refreshing, but something I’d like to see start trending in Romance writing as a whole. Lastly, I really liked that dynamics changed in multiple relationships and that every character in it grew, not just the two main characters.

So even if you’ve never read the Shifters Unbound series, Wild Wolf is a must-read. Honestly. I have not been this happy or satisfied with a book in quite a while.
Thank you Jennifer Ashley!

Our Review, by LITERAL ADDICTION’s Heavenly Hellspawn – Erika:
*Copy gifted in exchange for an honest review

After long living wild, Graham McNeil’s unruly pack that was forced in a Shiftertown with a variety of other shifter species. Adjusting is slow going (even 20 years later) and the pack is pressuring Graham to choose a mate and start his dynasty, convinced that doing so will solidify the pack and strengthen his leadership. However Graham’s not terribly eager to have pack politics force him into mating. Graham still battles the grief of having lost his first mate and cub, having been unable to process loss before being charged with raising his nephew after his sister died. Having to maintain control of the pack while facing such enormous loss forced Graham to cordon off his heart, and has also left him feeling a little burnt out. His only source of pleasure is his human girlfriend.

Misty Granger owns a small floral boutique, and lives a quiet ‘normal’ life. The only thing she does that could be considered reckless is dating a shifter, and not just any shifter, a pack Alpha. She knows that the thing between her and Graham is just for fun and will never be long term, and she knows it’s only a matter of time before he’s forced to pick and mate with another shifter, but when trouble literally busts into her life she has no one else to call to help her.

Graham races to her aid, only to discover that Misty isn’t the one in serious trouble—he is. Someone has big plans for Graham. Unsure of what evil stalks him Graham is forced to juggle Misty’s problems, leading a pack, ushering his nephew into adulthood and now raise two orphaned cubs while trying to fight off a spell and stay alive (and sane).

All of Jennifer Ashley’s Alphas are sexy enough to make our knees weak, and Mr. McNeil is no different! Graham is that perfect combination of confident, arrogant, abrasive and noble. Like the others, he lives and breathes by what is best for the pack… mostly. Misty, while unassuming sweet, is strong-willed, outspoken and honest… and she loves to talk. The two drive each other crazy in the best and worst of ways, making for great conflict and even better reconciliations.

Misty accepts that her and Graham are a temporary thing, but once she realizes Graham is in serious trouble she refuses to let Graham shut her out, even if they don’t end up together—which she isn’t sure she wants—she refuses to turn her back on him when he’s in trouble after her did so much for her when she was. Her naiveté causes problems--as it would anyone thrown into a culture they’ve had limited exposure to—but she is convinced she can help and determined to do what she can until Graham is out of danger.

One of the best things about this story was that the author had the characters stay true to themselves; there was no grand personality change that happened after the pair hooked up. Graham stayed Graham throughout the whole book; he was a rough, uncouth and aggressive guy that yelled far more than he talked—from beginning to end—even as circumstances changed and he started admitting that he had deeper feelings for Misty, even when things were great he was himself, unapologetically. Even so, Graham’s struggles with his nephew Dougal and the twins (while simultaneously bearing sole responsibility for the whole pack) are really endearing and show you just how much pressure and responsibility rests on his broad shoulders. But no matter how dire things looked he ‘sucked it up’ and did what he needed to do, for his pack and his family.

Another highlight was how Misty was portrayed sexually: she wasn’t a virgin, she wasn’t shy, she OWNED her sexuality and her desires, which was not only awesome and REALLY refreshing, but something that should start trending in Romance writing as a whole.

It was also really great to see dynamics changing in multiple relationships--not just between the hero & heroine - or between them and their family - but between all of the characters despite their prominence in the story. The character growth was throughout the cast, not just with the leading couple.

So even if you’ve never read the Shifters Unbound series, Wild Wolf is a must-read. Honestly. I have not been this happy or satisfied with a book in quite a while.

Thank you Jennifer Ashley!

First let me start off by saying I don’t normally make it a habit to read a series out of order but in this case I made an exception, and boy am I happy I did!

In this installment of Shifters Unbound, we meet Graham McNeil Alpha and pack leader. Graham has always been considered to be too aggressive and definitely not the most liked amongst Shifters. But ever since he and his pack were forced from their Shiftertown to one in Vegas, his pack has become uneasy and worried about when he will take a mate and have an heir. But Graham and all his wild, untamed roughness can be hard to understand. That is until he met Misty. Now after dating for a few months Graham realizes he would do anything to keep Misty safe, even if that means putting himself in danger.

Melissa Granger, also known as Misty, has been dating Graham for a few months. And although she isn’t from the Shifter world, she doesn’t seem to be intimidated by it. Neither does she seem to be intimidated by Graham and his attitude. With all his rough edges and rude behavior Misty always seems to find the decent man he truly is. But can Misty deal with the danger that dating an Alpha Shifter comes with?

While it took me a few chapters to warm up to Graham, I still found myself enjoying the book. Getting to know his past definitely helped in understanding his demeanor. It was also very refreshing to find a human woman in a “paranormal” world that has common sense and isn’t some naïve, weak thing. Misty kicked ass. She wasn’t a fighter per say but she didn’t take any s*** nor did she let an Alpha male get in her head and take over her life because of his hot body and skillful moves in bed!

Wild Wolf is the 6th installment in the Shifters Unbound series and it was so well written I dove right into the world without a problem. In fact I found myself wanting to get to know all the other characters and their stories, so guess whose starting book one soon? *point to self*

Jennifer Ashley creates a world so real and believable you just might second guess what species all the good looking and hot bodied men you encounter are.

As part of Ashley's Shifters Unbound series, this is an excellent book, one that moves the story-arc along tremendously. Let me tell you, the shifters need those dreadful collars off ASAP! I'm really feeling the urgency here!

I love this series because Jennifer Ashley is wonderfully consistent. Her characters remain true to themselves from book to book, the writing quality is always high, and the current narrative is NEVER overwhelmed by back-story or compromised by set-ups for the next entry. And I never have to go back and review past books to catch up on the story. Ashley makes it effortless and the plot development feels organic rather than forced. In my opinion, there can be no higher praise for the author of a long-running series.

In Wild Wolf, Misty and Graham are an endearing and sexy couple. I understand what they love in each other and can't wait to see more of them as the series continues. In fact, I wish we'd seen more of their initial relationship. When the story opens, they're pretty much already in love, even if they haven't admitted it to each other/themselves. I want to see more of Misty and Graham because I like this couple so much, so this is less a criticism and more a tribute to Ashley's characterization.
One question....Minor spoiler ----------------------------->

Regarding the spell that allows Misty to control plants. I understand why she could control the plants in the Faerie cave--she collected samples of all the plants in the cave per the instructions. But why could she still control the plants back in Vegas? After all, she didn't include those plants in the spell. Anyway, a small quibble on my part.

Overall, this is a great book in a fantastic series. You need to ride this train!

Review courtesy of All Things Urban Fantasy.

From the first, Ashley’s Shifters Unbound series has been about more than individual romances. Both human and Fae politics bubble and pop in the background, changing the world in which these many happy couples live. WILD WOLF, in addition to an engrossing romance, offers an adventure with the potential to shake up this entire world.

Between Fae machinations and human fears, the Shifters have a dangerous needle to thread. Amidst this danger, Graham is an Alpha struggling to exert his leadership under less than ideal circumstances. Ashley writes an all around darker world, with Shifters treated like second class citizens and their animal natures making for an uneasy civilization. Humans force shifters to live in unnatural proximity to each other, leaving Graham’s near Feral wolf pack out of their territory and comfort zone. Graham is a gruff, no nonsense kind of guy. Not having seen Misty’s and Graham’s fight club version of a meet-cute, it took me a little while to be convinced that these two were a good match. Seeing Graham tend to his flock of fractious, pain in the butt wolves, however, makes it clear that this Alpha’s gruffness is of the tough-love variety.

Jumping in mid series wasn’t a problem for enjoying WILD WOLF but it did remind me what I’ve been missing. I can’t wait to go back and read about some of the couple’s who I’ve missed out on. As for Shifters in general, it’s clear that Ashley has seismic changes on the horizon.

Sexual Content: Sex scenes.

The Shifters Unbound series is getting better and better. I have been reading them out of order and still a confused who some of the people are at first but its all right, this can be a stand alone of in order, but it gets even better. In this story Graham is known for is yelling, cursing, short tempter with just is own pack but also to his co leader Eric Warden. He met up with Misty a year ago in Coolers Bar after a shifters fight and he was lost since and been fighting the mating frenzy since then until Misty got caught in the middle of a gang kidnappers that are using her to get to her nark of a brother. Well there was a lot behind the so called 'gang' and it was one Fae that wanted Graham so his beast slave. All though this book Graham and Misty have many run in with the Fae and saving each other from him. There is also Grahams nephew Dougal that is a bit messed up, he can be tough as nails one minute then curled up in a ball and crying the next, plus two orphan twin pups/cubs that are always getting into mischief until they travel through ley lines trying to get to Misty or Graham to save them and later we find out these twin tornadoes on four legs are actually a breed of very special shifters that thought they were extinct and a secret that have to be hidden form shifters outside of Graham's home as well as the Fae, until the time is right.

FINALLY! You see them around each other in previous novels and I was dying to read their story. Of course the novel starts out some time into their relationship, but that doesn’t make it less in-depth. Honestly, I usually prefer the first meeting to be in the novel itself, but I’ll overlook it because of how good this one was! The chemistry between Misty and Graham seemed a bit lacking in the beginning – I mean, how could he resist the mating frenzy? – but towards the middle and end, there’s enough heat there for any romance fan to drool over. And sigh over. And daydream over. I digress.

Although I do feel the Fae involvement here was a little…. over the top, maybe? Good Fae, bad Fae, kind of neutral Fae. I’m not sure. I could believe the Fae (or one Fae) was the big bad of the whole series and behind all this horrible stuff, but Jennifer Ashley is starting to throw in magic from humans (maybe the phrase should be more magic charms than magic abilities). However, despite that, I found this a worthwhile entry into the Shifters Unbound universe. 4 stars!

I dislike Misty inmediately, she came accross as totally thoughtless. I have seen too many heroines lately cut out the same cloth. She dragged him into helping her, and what the heck, she gets mad at him. This alone made me dislike the character, while not everyone is perfect, what is ups with this trend? Granted she was worried about her brother, but give me a break. Later she redeemed herself, but the intitial 1/4 of the book left anf impression. As for the love story later on, was sweet, love conquers all, and it is the best remedy to prejudices. The story could have been much better, and if not because I liked other of her work, this would have been a good reason not to read more of the series. Not a fan of bratty women, it is not a sign of an independent likeable woman. T

From the first page WILD WOLF drew me in. Graham McNeil is leader of his pack. So far he has held off all the other packs trying to take him down. Graham’s one soft spot is his feelings for Misty, who is human. When the story starts they have been together for 8 months. Graham is fighting his emotions of wanting to mate with Misty. His, and other wolf packs are against it, mating with a human. After all humans are trying to control them by the collar they all must wear. Misty is not without her own problems, namely her brother and his past. Her connection with Graham has dragged her problems into his pack. When a plot by the Fae against the pack threatens a war, plus the always threat of the humans, Graham must open his heart and act on his feelings. Misty is continually showing her love for Graham and showing her own strength. She does save Graham’s life twice. The humorous banter and sexual tension between Graham and Misty is wonderful. The secondary story lines are just as interesting. Kyle and Matt, werewolf cubs, Eric, Donald, and the mysterious Ben just to name a few. They are active in the story as Misty and Graham work together to avoid Shiftertown into a war of annihilation. There are Gnomes, Fae and Werewolves, all in one book. Through all this, there is romance and humor. I know this book is #6 in Jennifer’s Shifters Unbound series, however it is a great stand alone book also. For the first of her books that I have read in the paranormal genre, I will say that I am going to start on the first Shifters Unbound book and read them all. I loved the way Jennifer writes in the paranormal. This is a fantastic book.

Disclaimer: I won and received a copy of Wild Wolf and am making a honest review of my reading of this book.

Title: Wild Wolf

Series: Shifters Unbound Book #6

Author: Jennifer Ashley

Genre: Romance, Paranormal

Thoughts: I am a huge fan of Jennifer Ashley's Shifters Unbound series, and I am quick to snatch up any title in this series. While she certainly doesn't fail to disappoint in her books, this one really wasn't quite up there at the same standard as previous books. Probably because of Graham's bull-headedness in admitting that Misty is his mate, and his refusal to stand up to his pack and take the mate he wants. Of course, we were kind of expecting that after reading about Graham in past books. Misty is certainly different that what I pictured for Graham, but she is amazing in her own right - and possibly a bit too good for this bad boy! I really enjoyed both of these characters though, and Misty's connection with the smaller members of the pack, in particular! Still a great series by an amazing author - can't wait to read more from her!

First Thought when Finished: Dang it! She made me love Graham. That is just how good Wild Wolf by Jennifer Ashley!

Overall Thoughts:Y'all she made me love Graham. I think that is mostly due to Misty and her ability to see through his bluster. Though as much as I loved the romance, the overall story is moving forward in a rapid pace with this book. I LOVED IT! We now have stuff happening and cute little cubs that are going to be a handful (I just see it) :)

My Status Updates and Highlights:

18%: "Graham is an ass! I have never really liked him so it will be interesting to see how she makes me come around to loving him. I have no doubt Jennifer will."

70%: "#Reading Love that she is making him work for the Mate Bond!"

Graham McNeil is tough on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside at least when it comes to Misty. Misty is soft and sweet on the outside but strong as steel on the inside. This is a match made in heaven. Now if they can only get over the concerns of his pack regarding her humanity and oh yeah survive an attack by the fae who want to own Graham and through him his pack and they aren’t afraid to use Misty to make that happen. Graham is a true alpha. He is tough but fair and understands that it is his job to protect and care for his charges even if it means knocking heads. Misty is right for him and those that don’t agree can go suck it. This is another terrific addition to the Shifters Unbound series. It can be read stand-alone but would be better if you have read the others.

I love Jennifer Ashley. A mediocre book by her is still 5 times better than most other writer's books. I was really looking forward to Misty and Graham and perhaps my expectations were too high. The plot seemed a both a bit convoluted and dragged on. I stopped caring about the Fae hiker...the 2nd time I met him. The relationship was just bland. The book was bland. Not bad just not up to her usual standards.

The chemistry was a touch flat. I liked them in the other books but they weren't clicking much for me here. It felt like this book was just an excuse to see other characters from previous books.

ITs still a readable decent book. Just a mediocre one in this series.

Graham is loud, obnoxious, bossy, rude and trying to convince himself that what he has with Misty is just a temporary thing. Misty is confused by Graham's hot and cold behavior but she loves him for who he is. Misty is no push over but she exudes sweetness. Lots of action in this one. Plenty of new characters and old friends make appearances as well. Matt and Kyle are adorable. I'd love to see Dougal's story at some point.
Highly recommended series and author

Usually when an author engages in writing of a lengthy series of books those down the line (#s 5 and up) fail to meet the standard. Ms Ashley is the exception. Every entry into the Shifters Unbound is wonderful.
Each sexy, uber masculine, hero is memorable and individual and every heroine is her own woman in her own way.
In fact, Ms AShley is go good at drawing her characters that, as a reader, I eagerly await the story for every one of the subordinate players in her tales.
Hope you have a dozen more in you Ms Ashley, cause I will be waiting for them.

Another great book in the Shifters Unbound series. Without giving away too much Jennifer kept Graham's gruff, no nonsense attitude in tacked but gave him life.....and along with that a LOT of laughs and new very interesting characters and as always we get to revisit our old friends too .....I can't wait for the next..... Thanks for a great read....I needed it!

Really intense read. Once again the characters are lovable and make you fall in love with them and their stories. I'm excited to see what Ms.Ashley does with the twins in this book and Dougal. A lot of the secondary characters in this piece are begging for a story and I am hoping to hear from them soon.

I didn't like Graham when he was first introduced, but now I think he's awesome. He's a lonely wolf with a lot on his shoulders. Thank God for Misty. She gives him a reason to be a man, not just the alpha again.
