Sinead (Sin) Donnelly is everything readers look for in a paranormal heroine. She's a strong, fearless Master Assassin, capable of leading some of the worst demons in the world and underworld alike.
Part human, part Seamus demon, all Succubus- Sin must mate often lest she weaken and die, no matter her personal feelings on the matter. An emergency romantic encounter with local vampire Conall (Con) Dearghul ends up turning into more trouble than it was worth when the two determine they are better strangers than lovers. As if that weren't bad enough, on the very same day Sin accidentally releases a disease targeted against the entire werewolf population. Now its a race against time to find a cure before the entire species is wiped off the planet. Unfortunately she has no one to turn to but Con.
Larissa Ione has created an amazing series with deep characters, a fast plot, and amazing romantic scenes. Fifth in the series, Sin Undone is strong enough to stand of it's own- just like the heroine.

NY TIMES bestselling author Larissa Ione grew up reading Stephen King and Dean Koontz. She began writing horror and fantasy, but soon learned to love romance. She is able to combine her two loves into one genre- paranormal romance. She also writes under the pen name Sydney Croft. Titles include: Seduced by the Storm, Pleasure Unbound, Hot Nights Dark Desires, Unleashing the Storm, Wet Dreams, Snow Bound, Riding the Storm, Flesh to Fantasy, and Shadow Play. Her title, Pleasure Unbound was named Best Paranormal Romance of 2008 in the First Annual Reviewers Choice Awards at Romance Novel TV. She was born in Oregon but resides now in Virginia.
Sinead Donnelly is the only female Seminus demon ever to be born. A master assassin, she's used to being treated like an outcast, but after spending decades in enslavement, she vowed never to give up her freedom again. Then, her ability to kill goes awry, and she accidentally creates a new lethal werewolf virus that threatens to wipe out the whole race. Amidst a firestorm of panic and violence among species, half-werewolf, half-vampire Conall Dearghul is in charge of bringing Sin in as punishment for the plague. Except he fears he may be the only one to save her, thus saving the epidemic, as Sin is not only the cause, but could be the cure. Bound by his own responsibilities, the passion between them is anything but accommodating, and Con fears that saving Sin's life may mean sacrificing his own.
This is the fifth, (and I believe), the last installment in the Demonica series. However, a new series is coming out in April 2011, called the Lords of Deliverance, and it looks like it starts where Dominica leaves off, following the Doomsday Prophesies. Though it is not necessary to read the other books, as they all stand alone, I highly recommend doing so.
I love reading a series like this one that is hard to put down, and ends with a bang, not a whimper. Paranormal romance fans will relish this new book from a master in this genre. Who couldn't love an author who creates an underworld demon hospital run by a team of siblings who are destined to save the world while falling in love? I do believe that says it all. Bravo--a must read!

My expectations for Sin Undone, the 5th novel in the Demonica series, were really high after we met Sin in the last Demonica book. I am pleased to say that I loved it and it met my expectations completely. Larissa Ione has done a fantastic job at building this series over the past 4 Demonica books, and this is the first time in the series where the Seminus demon we're mainly following is female, the only Seminus demon female ever born, and it was a refreshing change. Sinead "Sin" Donnelly is the ultimate Paranormal Romance Heroine.
Sin Undone picks up right where Ecstacy Unveiled leaves off. Sin, who we've met previously as Lore's sister and half-sister to the other Seminus demons at Underworld General Hospital, has spent decades doing others' bidding and has now found herself as a Master Assassin. Her deadly innate ability has gone wrong during a botched assassination job unintentionally creating a lethal new worg virus. This virus appropriately named "Sin Fever" is fast acting, spreading quickly, and has caught the attention of the Worg Council, adding fuel to a long existing tension fire between the born-worgs and turned-worgs.
Connall "Con" Dearghul, paramedic at Underworld General, walks a delicate line biologically and politically as a dhampire, half-worg and half-vampire. He is tasked by Eidolon to work with Sin to try and create a vaccine for SF, but at the same time he is charged with bringing Sin in by the Warg Council to face punishment for causing the virus. After a brief intimate encounter previously between Sin and Con, the experience has left Con hungering for her blood and body. Sin and Con must work together to end this plague, while they are determined to resist each other and the need and attraction that has blossomed. Fans of the series will be so happy to hear that we see a lot of the Seminus demon brothers Eidolon, Shade, Wraith, Lore as well as the awesome Tayla too. We might see a nice side story with Luc as well.
I already was quite fond of Sin when we were previously introduced to her, but this book solidified the fact that Sin is one of my favorite PNR heroines of 2010. Ms. Ione did a stellar job giving us the same unapologetic hardass we met previously, all the while showing glimpses of the mushy core inside she tries so desperately to protect from getting smooshed. She is just the kind of bitch I'd secretly love to be, but without all the pesky consequences. In effect this made me care about her all the more when we see just how vulnerable she truly is, as she witnesses the widespread devastation she is ultimately responsible for. With Sin being the only female Seminus demon in existence, we get a very different point of view than previous books and it makes for an interesting story with how she has handled her Seminus needs for survival. We learn more about her past experiences and it is nothing short of gut-wrenching. My heart hurt for Sin several times, she is just so thoroughly likeable despite herself. Throw in the hot dhampire Con who just can't seem to get enough of her despite himself, and the outcome is nothing short of explosive. Sin and Con have all the chemistry needed to give you one smoking hot read.
The Demonica series is so popular for very good reason. It has all the essential elements required for the perfect PNR series. The original world Ms. Ione has created centering around Underworld General, the demon hospital that turns away no underworld being, is so imaginative. The variety of supernatural species we meet and how they interact with one another is unique and creative, and while the plot does focus around an incredibly hot romantic relationship, there are so many other events going on that it takes you for a wild ride. True to the series, Sin Undone is not cluttered with repetitiveness, unnecessary descriptions, or recaps from the previous books. You get great fast paced drama from start to finish. The series is extremely erotic and the sexual encounters are hot and fresh. Creative supernatural world, strong multi-dimensional characters, clever plot, intriguing side stories, and hot sex. What more can you ask for in a Paranormal Romance series?
New to the Demonica series? I would never discourage anyone from reading Sin Undone, as it can be read as a stand-alone novel because it is that good. However, to really get the full experience of this book, I strongly advise interested readers to start at the beginning of the series with Pleasure Unbound, then Desire Unchained, Passion Unleashed, and Ecstasy Unveiled. You will thank me for recommending this series to you, so ahead of time I say: "You're welcome!"

OMG - Larissa Ione is the Queen of Romantic Tension! This book was so freakin' good! Definitely my favorite book of the series!
Sin is a wonderful heroine - tough-talking and definitely able to cash the checks her mouth writes - she is one kick-ass heroine. I liked her in the previous book, Ecstasy Unveiled, and was excited that she was getting her own book.
And Con, *swoons*, oh, Con is completely sigh-worthy! The perfect blend of bad boy Alpha-type male with a tender heart on the inside (of course, he has to go through trial by fire to find that tender heart, but when he does....*swoons again*). And plenty of biting *winks* - very nice!
Ms. Ione kept me on the edge of my seat throughout this book. First of all, there's the plague that Sin accidentally started in Ecstasy Unveiled. It's growing out of control and they can't seem to find a cure. I really, really felt bad for Sin. Soon she's being hunted by the Wargs, the Turneds, the Assassins, and a weird guy on horseback.
And when Sin and Con got thrown together to try to find a cure - oh, the tension really sizzled. It went from "will they or won't they" to "more, more, more please!!!" Then, we learn about the dangers of a blood addiction for Con and it seems an insurmountable obstacle for them. Throw in his Clan's requirement that he join in for the mating season, and I just didn't see how these two were going to get their HEA. I think there were about four different points in this book where I thought to myself, "You've written yourself into a corner Ms. Ione, how are you going to fix this?" and wow, she really did!!!
There was a secondary story with Con's co-worker, Luc, and another werewolf, Kar. At first I was a bit thrown off until I realized who they were; their story was sweet and tied in nicely with the main storyline. We also got to see quite a bit of Sin's four brothers, Eidolon, Shade, Wraith, and Lore, and their mates and children. It was good to see how everyone was doing and I enjoyed how protective they all were of Sin and each other.
I loved this book! I heard this is the last book in the series, and if it is, what a way to go! A tip of the hat to you, Ms. Ione - bravo!

It took me a long time to get into Sin Undone. My problem was that I couldn't stand the female protagonist, Sin. I really didn't like her in the previous book so I was wary going into Sin Undone knowing that the entire book was going to be about her story. Ultimately I did like Sin Undone but thankfully it was the other characters and story line that carried me through.
Sin had a hard life but geez which one of these characters from the Demonica series didn't? What annoyed me was that out of all the hard luck stories of personal tragedy, why is it that the female out of the group is the one that ended up whiny and defensive and quite frankly, unlikable. Personally I think Wraith had it worse that Sin and even as messed up as he was, he was a likable character. There was honestly a time where I just wanted to pack the book in and call it quits. She grated on my nerves that badly.
However, the story line of the mutant virus effecting the warg and werewolf worlds was excellent. I absolutely loved the side story of Kar and Luc and in fact, I wished the that Kar and Luc would have been the main story with Sin and Con the secondary.
I loved the slipped in updates from the previous couples. I loved the pending battle build up and I loved the ending. Even though Sin eventually stopped being whiny and a martyr of sorts, I still never really warmed up to her. Regardless the story itself was excellent so ultimately I am granting a strong 4 heart finish.
Teasers - mutant virus, new use for a snow ball, special coin, assassins galore

What can I say? Larissa does a great job intertwining the characters in her books. Sin's book is the last in the Demonica Series.....Fear Not! The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse series follows Sin's Book. In this book you get the introduction of the new series. Sin is a tough character. She's had a hard life. She's half demon, half human and on top of that....A FEMALE! I don't want to get into spoilers for someone who hasn't read this series but that's a BIG oddity for her demon-side. There are a lot of sexual scenes in these books because of the breed of demon that the main characters are. That in no way takes away from anything....it just adds another layer to the story and shows how, even though it might look like one of them is having a "great time", even the family struggles with finding their true mate and what happens if they don't.
Sin has to learn to accept family she didn't know she had, accept her flaws and accept the people that love her.
Larissa's writing never fails to make me laugh, make me sit on the edge of my seat and in some instances it is so touching that I want to cry. Don't get me wrong....these aren't your average "swoon for me" Romance novels.....They are, in my opinion, just as good.....even better. You get the paranormal, the excitement and the romance all wrapped up in Larissa's books.
If you want something that is going to bring in some really colorful characters, a great imagination on how Larissa intertwines the two worlds and some really great fight scenes, then the Demonica Series and Sin Undone are for you!
I'm waiting for Eternal Rider (the first book in the Horsemen series) now!
Larissa never fails to deliver a great story!
Happy reading!

If story writing was like cooking, Larissa Ione would make The Food Channel itself her bitch with the Demonica series alone.
Another book that made me wish that life would just stop for three days so I could devote all all time to reading. But what matters is that it is done and the final verdict Larissa is the bomb. BOOM!
Ok, the book is dealing mostly with the werewolf civilization because our leading man is Dhampire (half-wolf, half-vampire). Now, ever since Stephanie Meyer's Breaking Dawn, I've rolled my eyes at "half and halfs"...except when it comes to my coffee *grins*. Authors tend to make those characters an unnecessary extra special that usually make me want to release the contents in my stomach, so to speak.
When it comes to Miss Ione, let's just say she deserves your trust at this point. If she were to present a half owl, half human with gargoyle blood to me, I would trust her to take that and make it into something fabulous. Because since the first two books, alone, she earned it and no, she did not disappoint. You can relate to these people, in some way.
I even fell in love with a warg in this book who barely spoke but with the little information I knew, I just got him.
One thing I've learned from this book is that wargs (werewolves) and Sem demons are practically made for each other. Sexed UP. You can really tell that this woman just truly sat down and thought "Ok, if there were really such and such, what would their civilization be like? What would they be like?" and she nails it like a hunky carpenter on a hot El Paso day.
After reading Gena Showalter's The Darkest Lie, I was upset because of the leading lady, Scarlet, was a quite tragic example of a ideal romance partner. But again I trusted Larissa to create another awesome female. And let me just say, I love Sin. She just very well be my favorite character out of all the romance books I've read so far. If she were real, she would go on my "Only chicks would go lesbo for" list. She's just that cool. She's sharp tongued, you can learn from her and damn it, she keeps it real. A lovable hard ass.
I'm sad that these books have to come to an end. I have truly fallen in love with these brothers, and now sister, as if they were real. At least we'll have another shot with the upcoming Lords of Deliverance book. WOOP!

SIN UNDONE is exceptionally noteworthy with its innovative storyline featuring a cast of particularly extraordinary characters. The only complaint I had while reading the fifth and last book in the Demonica series is that I believed there would be no more stories taking place in this highly fascinating world. However, the ingenious ending of SIN UNDONE cleverly introduces the next attention-grabbing series by this creative author called Lords of Deliverance, where the basis is centered on the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and even has the same setting. I am now much happier knowing there will be more paranormal stories by Larissa Ione to keep me thoroughly entertained.
After having been answerable to someone else for many years, Seminus demon Sinead Donnelly is finally responsible for what happens to herself when she becomes a master assassin. Regrettably, one decision using her ability of touch to kill causes a deadly plague which affects werewolves. Now her newly discovered half-brother, who is a doctor, wants her help in eradicating the devastating disease, so Sin goes to the hospital for supernatural beings where he works.
Since Conall Dearghul is half-werewolf and half-vampire, the Underworld General paramedic will be partnered with Sin to hopefully discover a cure for the virus killing more and more werewolves. Con had previously met the outspoken succubi demon and even experienced one unforgettable sexual quickie with her, but he did not really know much about her until they start spending some time together. When those in authority want Sin to pay for the chaos she has caused, Con comes to realize the future destined for him may not be what he now actually desires.
Larissa Ione writes with emotional mastery and totally captures the imagination. Ms. Ione has surpassed her own high standards in SIN UNDONE, as the plot is entirely original with a myriad of appealing characters. Once the world constructed by this talented author is entered, you will not only become engrossed in every intriguing detail but will also want to truly believe it does exist. How everything works, from political issues to social standing amongst the many diverse species, is skillfully gotten across with likely facts. Conversations are convincing and often times spoken with much honest candor. Many of discussions are amusingly priceless, especially some of the one-liners, and several are heartbreaking in their frank sincerity, but each one is verbally delivered with uniqueness typical of the one speaking. Ms. Ione has a way of making her characters so individually dissimilar, and these differences make them either extremely endearing or completely despised. Con and Sin definitely become a beloved couple as their inner struggles are confronted, and the connection to them grows with every revealing detail about their past and current lives. Stirring descriptions depicting what they have lived through and are now facing plays on your every emotion, and a number of the circumstances surrounding them are unforeseen plus filled with surprising turns. The sexual tension between these two is sky-high, and this leads to encounters where the expression of their passion is blazingly fiery. They have countless interactions with many previous characters who are also well-liked, and one of them, Luc, gets his own secondary story which is smoothly entwined. Whether this is your initial reading of the Demonica series or the fifth, you will immediately be drawn into the compelling world created by Larissa Ione and never want to leave. SIN UNDONE masterfully portrays scenes with intense feelings while the suspense builds during every heart-pounding scenario.

Sin is the only female Seminus demon alive who is also master assassin. She has never counted on anyone but herself, including her twin brother Lore. Sin also has a raging libido but can control it because of her tattoo on her right arm called the dermoire. Sin must stay ruthless and show no sign of weakness. But she's been feeling guilty lately because she is responsible for unleashing a virus that's killing wargs, better known as werewolves. If she and her half-brothers, who work at Underground General, a supernatural hospital, can't stop the plague they have named Sin Fever (after Sin), it will destroy the wargs and may jump to other creatures and perhaps even humans.
Paramedic Conall Dearghul is half-werewolf, half vampire, known as a dhampire. He and Sin acted on their physical attraction once. But as soon as Sin was done with him, she pushed him away. Conall is more than bent out of shape about Sin treating him like dirt, but he can't stop thinking of her. He may just get more than he bargains for when he and Sin team up together to stop the virus.
Not only do they have to stop this deadly virus, but Sin has to stay on her toes since she has been marked for death. And Conall is being forced to take his seat on the Warg Council and fulfill his dhampire duties where he must mate with the females to build up their population. Soon he and Sin are on the run, hiding from those that want to eliminate them both. Sin refuses to become a victim since she has been one before. Conall wants her to lean on him for support and show her that it's alright for her to feel and love.
Sin Undone (Demonica book #5) is the final book in Larissa Ione's Demonica series that fans will not want to miss. Please give me a moment while I mourn because this series is just too good to end. I had joked that Larissa loves to make her heroes suffer (mainly through their physical reaction to sex. Larissa is evil like that and I thank her for it)
Sin is haunted by both her past and present, and has no choice but to become cold hearted and sometimes cruel in order to survive. She has killed in the past and will do so again with no remorse. But of course there is more to her than meets the eye. When Conall comes into her life and forces her to reflect on her actions, that's where she begins to forgive herself and those horrendous deeds she was forced to do. She has a true support system from family, friends and even with Conall who wants her as his. Conall doesn't want to own Sin or force her to please him for his own gains. As they come to rely on one another, he sees how special she is, and Sin in turn opens her heart to him. And the passion and sex between is hotter than hot. Larissa Ione writes good sex. Her sex scenes are some of the hottest I've read in a paranormal romance series. You can practically taste the lust and desire Conall and Sin have for one another. These two have great chemistry even as they hurl insults at one another.
Sin Undone doesn't disappoint and makes way for yet a new set of characters and books, in her soon to be released Lord of Deliverance series.
Thank you Larissa for giving us kick ass heroines, alpha, yet protective heroes who make women sigh in lust and a series that has raised the bar for what a paranormal should embody.

'Sin Undone' continues the storyline introduced in book four of the Demonica series 'Ecstasy Unveiled'. In the last book, Sinead Donnelly, a half Seminus Demon/half human hybrid, took over as head of the assassin den. When one of her jobs went bad, she accidentially started a plague that is killing wargs (werewolves). She and her twin Loren also met their half brothers Eidolon, Wraith and Shade--partners in the hospital serving supernaturals. The hospital staff are working frantically to find a cure to the warg disease. Meanwhile tensions are rising among the Warg leaders and and politics come into play. They try to take Sin to punish her for the plague, but sexy Conall Dearghul, the werewolf/vampire hybrid, helps her to get away. Then in a shocking takeover attempt in her assassin guild, the den's assassin's are all after her also! What's a girl to do with all the wargs and assassins gunning for her?
The Demonica series started as a very good paranormal romance series, but it turned GREAT with the last book (#4). At the time I read 'Ecstacy Unveiled' I thought it was Larissa Ione's best work to date. Ione delivered another winner--'Sin Undone' is just as strong as the last book. It was a terrific mix of action, suspense, mystery and romance. Good world building--I liked her explanations about the Wargs, Dhampirs, and assassin guild. Great leading characters and supporting cast. There were humorous, light moments as well as some tearjerkers. This is the best PNR I've read in a while. I couldn't put it down! At 1 am I looked at the clock in shock, not realizing it was so late because I was so engrossed in the book.
I am looking forward to Ione's new spin off series Lords of Deliverance, featuring the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. The first book Eternal Rider (Lords of Deliverance) will be out March 2011. I heard that the Demonica characters will make appearances in the new series. Can't wait!

SQUEEEEE!!!! There. It's out of my system. Sin Undone was an amazing end to the Demonica series! Ione wraps up the story line for the Demonica series nicely and then leaves us with a great cliffhanger for her new series.
The relationship between Sin and Con was awesome. You could feel their chemistry coming across to you as a reader and even more you could feel their avoidance of emotion. Neither one of them wanted to be involved with each other. It is a thing of beauty to watch their relationship grow. In fact at one point I was so in tune with their feelings I had to literally walk away and compose myself before I could go on.
If you have not read this series, it is worth it just to read Sin's story. I cannot suggest strongly enough that you do not miss this series. Seriously, check it out!

Sin Undone (Demonica, Book 5)The more I read Larissa Ione's books the more I love them. This book "Sin Undone" is the 5th in the Demonica Series. I hadn't read anything by Larissa until "Ecstasy Unveiled" which was a great book also by the way. I think I am hooked. "Sin Undone" was even better than "Ecstasy Unveiled" which I didn't think possible. Some paranormal books that I have read seem so predictable and seem to (do I dare say) be the same as all the rest just another paranormal romance but I have to say I am very impressed with this series and I think that Larissa is an excellent and unique writer that has stepped above the rest. "Sin Undone" has very strong characters with wonderful details that pull you into this gripping story for a ride that you will not soon forget. This book has explicit details and is a very erotic romance that you will find very hard to put down.

Sin is the only female Seminus demon and she unintentionally created a virus that is killing off werewolves. One time lover Con, who is half-werewolf and half-vampire is slowly becoming addicted to Sin. But he also hates her for creating this plague. He has been given the job of bringing Sin in to face judgement. But she can also hold the cure, so he's gonna keep her safe as long as he can.
Sin Undone is a pure shot of adrenalin. Non-stop from page one, an action-packed ride. I loved every minute. Intense fight scenes keep you turning the page and the scorching hot sex scenes will have you reaching for a glass of ice water.
I wasn't sure I was gonna like this one, having a female lead this time. But each Demonica book has just blown me away. With Sin's story it was no different. Sin is one kick ass chica. Taking no bull from anyone, especially her brothers.
Demonica is such a rich and delectable world its hard not falling in love with it and the characters. The world isn't always shiny, but it's definitely exciting and leaves you on the edge of your seat. I can't recommend this series enough.

The 5th and final installment in the Demonica series, Sin Undone, is the best of all. Larissa Ione is a great writer and it's obvious in this book because she was not only able to neatly tie up all the loose end of the series but also to have a full length novel full of plot. I didn't want to put this book down once I picked it up to start reading. After reading Ms. Ione's work it's difficult to read most everything else out there because I constantly compare. I will say that I do rate her work as an equal to JR Ward, who in my opinion writes some of the best paranormal out there today.

Master assassin Sinead is the only female Seminus demon to have ever existed and like her brothers, she was born with a special ability. She is able to kill her enemies with just a touch but something goes horribly wrong when she creates a disease that is rapidly killing werewolves. Sin will need to quickly learn to trust her brothers and the dangerously handsome half vampire half werewolf Conall to help keep her alive and find a cure before an entire race is annihilated.
Although Sin is an assassin, she is not heartless and has not gone unaffected by what she has done. She has been cooperating with the attempts to find a cure and as the master of her assassin den, she has turned down contracts to kill wargs (werewolves). This has caused her own men to turn on her and when Carceris (underworld jailers) come for Sin, she must team up with her former sexual partner and dhampire (half werewolf, have vampire) in order to stay alive. Sin has barricaded her self off from all feelings. Her mother treated her as if she was the devil's spawn and she had no idea what she was until her dermoire appeared when she was twenty and her sex drive went out of control. Her twin Lore was also going through the change and took off, leaving Sin all alone until she was found by a slave owner. She has a fear of getting close to anyone because everyone she cares for her leaves. Con sees how Sin has been hurt and is determined to make her feel and understand that her brothers are there for her. Con himself is a lot like Sin. He doesn't get close to anyone and has blocked off his emotions. Sin and Con are right for each other because they understand each other better than anyone has before and they are the only ones capable of healing the others wounds. Not to mention their sexual encounters sizzle right off the pages.
I knew that her brothers would accept her (of course Wraith made her earn it) and I really liked reading about their interactions. There were a few scenes that got a little to mushy for my tastes but I expected that. There is not one dull moment in this book. Aside from the plague that Sin caused (or Sin Fever) there is an all out civil war between the turned (Varcolac) and born (Pricolici) wargs brewing. Tension between the two species of wargs has always been thick and with Sin Fever spreading rapidly, there is a lot of behind the scene scheming and plotting on both sides. There is also the appearance of men on horses that will lead into Larissa Ione's new series, Lords of Deliverance.
Larissa Ione did not disappoint with the final chapter in her Demonica series. Sin Undone is a roller coaster of action, romance, suspense and you never want it to end. Prepare to lose some sleep with this one because you will not want to put the book down once you start it. This is one of those series I always recommend when asked for a book recommendation. It has everything a fan of Paranormal Romance would want and I'm sad to see it end. But Larissa has already reassured fans that we will see some of our favorite Demonica characters in her upcoming spin off series based on the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. First up will be War (Ares) titled Eternal Rider. Can't wait!

Sin is a strong, complex character who isn't afraid to take responsibility for her own actions and live with the repercussions. Ione crafts her in a way that makes her both sympathetic and understandable. We WANT her to get out of her bondage and embrace the life she deserves to have. The witty comments and back-and-forth throwing of insults is fun to read, as is the romance that sizzles. I love this ending to the series, although I know it continues in a different form with the Four Horsemen in the next series.

Assassin's Guild. Chief Seminus demon Sin unintentionally released a virus that is killing werewolves. The epidemic threatens to go pandemic and wipe out the species. Stunned, Sin wants to save the surviving werewolf population from extinction while others have a different deadly agenda for the shapeshifters.
Sin knows her life is in jeopardy as many including herself believe she deserves punishment for the plague she wrought. Her guild also has opportunistic ambitious assassins who plan to kill her so they can take over running the Guild. Connal "Con" Dearghul is directed to bring Sin in, dead or alive, but they are bound by blood. Con knows he must choose between bringing her head in on a platter that would make him a hero who obeyed orders; or assisting her, which would leave him as a hunted outlaw.
The fifth Demonica romantic fantasy (see Pleasure Unbound and Desire Unchained) is a terrific sinful saga as the wicked assassin is finally undone by love. The story line is fast-paced and loaded with action as Con must choose between his lady and his duty. This volatile mix makes for a great time for sub-genre readers especially fans of Larissa Ione.

A.MAZ.ING!!!! this book was absolutely fantastic!! Larissa just kept getting better and better with the Demonica series, and that held true for the 5th and final book to the series, Sin Undone. i am so sad that this series is done, and that i tore through the book so quickly, but seriously, it was near impossible to put down. Larissa kept the pace just perfect through the entire book...not once did i think to myself that i wished a certain part was over b/c it was too slow, etc. i hung onto every word, every nuance, and she just got so creative with the story and its flow, and i thought it was outstanding.
Sin was an amazing heroine, and i loved that we got to watch her develop and grow, urged on by the care and love of the hero, Con. both characters were wonderful...i loved them both from the get-go, and even more so at the end. and as always w/ Larissa, you can guarantee some wonderfully creative, hot, steamy sexy time, and she surely didn't disappoint in Sin. i love, too, that it's not just one major sex scene and then the rest are kinda of just mentioned. nope, she gives the reader some really great full blown scenes, and they aren't sex scenes just for the sake of sex...they are perfect and lead the story along beautifully.
there is a side story of Luc and a female woven into the story, too, which was also great and instrumental to the entire book. like Gem and Ky's story, it was great to see others take a little of the spotlight as well. additionally, Larissa did a FANTASTIC job of integrating all of the Demonica players in Sin. there is a lot of Eidolon and Wraith, who is still funny as hell w/ some of the best one liners, but we also got to see a fair amount of Shade, Lore, Ky, and to a little less extent, Serena, Runa, Tayla, and Gem. even with the integration, Sin and Con's story was still front and center, and done perfectly.
we also get introduced to a couple of the Horsemen in this series as well, and again, Larissa was so creative in working their story into this one. so while i am sad that Demonica is finished, i am so excited to read about the Lords of Deliverance knowing that our favorite characters in Demonica will also have appearances in it.
to anyone who hasn't read Demonica yet, go read it! it's a fantastic series. and for all the readers of Demonica, if you haven't gotten Sin yet, what are you waiting for? go get that book and read it!! :D

An absolutely brilliant end to the series. As I've said before, I typically have trouble relating to the heroines in paranormal romance novels, but Sin is a fantastic combination of strength and vulnerability. Her past was dark and bleak as she found herself adrift with a demonic essence she didn't know she possessed, forced to enter into physical relationships that had no real meaning beyond a moment of pleasure. As a result, she has an understandable aversion to any kind of significant personal relationship and keeps any manifestation of her feelings blanketed in an air of indifference. But unlike so many heroines, when the truth of her feelings is eventually asked of her, she doesn't spout half truths or give vague generalities that leave the thick-plated emotional armor untarnished, but rather lets that armor fall away and allows Con to see all of her. It's a beautiful thing to read.
Con, for his part, returns the favor and allows Sin to see his insecurities, his secrets, and his baggage so they are constantly on equal footing. He asks no more of her than he is willing to give, and their relationship is truly one of two alpha personalities joining to create something stronger, rather than an alpha male forcing his female to submit.
Ms. Ione does a superb job in crafting their delicate relationship, and when the inevitable moment comes when Con is forced to push Sin away to save her life, the venom lining his words is so intense the reader can't help but wince, hearts leaping from our chests and dropping somewhere in our guts. The words become more than words, morphing into shards of glass so sharp edged, we're in danger of slicing a finger open on the page, leaving a pain no longer vicarious in nature, but one as real as if Con had spoken directly to us.
In addition to two strong, intelligent and intense protagonists, there is also a very interesting and engaging storyline. Though the relationship takes center stage, it is fully supported by a war of the species, keeping the reader as physically engaged in the action as they are emotionally captivated by the relationship. There's not a page that passes by without passion or conflict, and I found myself reading the last page long before I wanted to be finished.
Sin Undone is a paranormal romance at it's finest and should be added to any romance lover's bookshelf.

Sin Undone (Demonica, Book 5) by Larissa Ione
Paranormal Romance - Aug. 24th, 2010
5 stars
Sin Undone was a non-stop thrill ride from start to finish! The blazing tension between the 2 main characters kept me on edge and in constant suspense. Larissa Ione's writing is only getting better and Sin Undone is my new favorite in her Demonica Series.
Sin is one of coolest heroine's I've read. She is no slouch and nobody's patsy. As the only female Seminus demon her early years were painful and heartbreaking but she has put all of that aside. As a master assassin, she can deliver lethal diseases to her targets. And she is feared by all. But Sin made a small mistake when she used a virus to kill a werewolf. Because before he died he spread the virus to others and it mutated. Now she is known as the creator of a new plague that kills werewolves. And Sin finds herself forced to work with the dhampire (a half vampire, half werewolf), Conall Dearghul who seems to hate her.
Conall is their best hope for a cure since his vampire half is showing a strange resistance to the disease. Sin and her brothers hope that his blood ill be the key to a remedy. And they need Sin's help to analyze it. But to study it she must leave the safety of her assassin's den. However, leaving the den opens her to more danger. When a master assassin leaves their den they are no longer protected by the assassin's code of honor and Sin is vulnerable to attack by any assassin (including her own) who wishes to take her place. In addition, many of the werewolves want Sin dead and are out to kill her. On the run and trying to stay alive, Conall and Sin race frantically for a cure as the body count mounts. To further complicate matters the undesired heat between Sin and Connal threatens to singe them both and complicate their lives. For their growing feelings for each other could not come at a worse time.
Sin and Conall make a dazzling couple and an even more spectacular team. Both had their own agendas which complicated the story as they tried to hide their past and their conflicting commitments. As a result, the stakes kept rising higher and higher until the tension had my heart pounding.
This is absolute my favorite in the Demonic series and a must read for fans, lovers of urban fantasy or edgy paranormal romance with some serious bite. I also loved that there were plenty of intense scenes between the 2 as they fought their mutual attraction. The intensity between the 2 definitely satisfied the romance reader in me. But I was also fascinated by the dirty secrets of the dhampire and the assassin's code. I would have loved to know more about either! Simply put, I could not put this book down. The author delivers some very intriguing new characters that set up for her next series the Lords of Deliverance...that has got me hankering for another fix and quick!
This book was additive, don't start it if you don't intend to finish it in one sitting. It is an unending roller coaster of a read! I never knew what was going to happen next and each turn thrilled me more than the next. I can't wait for her next book!

This was an awesome addition to the series. I loved how Larissa Ione developed the story between Sin and Con and how she added even more to the plot of the demonica world. I can't wait till april when her spin off series hits the shelves. I hope all our favorites from the demonica series will make an appearance. I definitely recommend this series to anyone who loves paranormal romance. You will not be disappointed.

I read an embarrassing amount of books and this has still been the best series I've ever came across. Sin's story is amazing. I couldn't put it down when it came out! I go back and read the series all the time! Thanks Ione for providing us with these books. Plus for the people that think this series has unrealistic names and so on..... (duh) it's called fantasy for a reason, be more open minded. Just my opinion.

After reading all the books in this series, I can safely say that I'm esctatic that there are no more children of Khane! Although the author tries to create the chaotic world of plagues, demon assassins, addicted dhampires, and werewolf Armeggedon it just seemed like world dump with one too many kitchen sinks.
Was it just me or did it seem like some of the characters were interchangeable? Like Sin could have easily been Gem or Tayla. Same strange hair color, fondness for leather and goth gear, and extreme guilt that prevents them from finding happiness.
Even though Conall was my favorite hero of the series, I wish there would have been more sexual tension between him and Sin. I know they had sex in a previous book, but it would have been nice to see them fighting their instincts more. Because of this many of the sex scenes, which were dumped at some of the most inopportune moments, just seemed mechanical.
And despite the roller coaster ride to nowhere, the ending was more WTF than Ah...ha and too convenient like a neat little tidy bow and unfortunately another spin off to another series. Does anyone write stand alone books anymore? Maybe if they did I'd be on the edge of my seat more.

Yep, I'm taking points off for getting YANKED out of the story by some of the silliest words I've ever encountered. So there I am, reading along, really deep into the story and then BAM, along comes a word like Dubdghall. It was bad enough trying to struggle all along with Eidolon--which was just mostly annoying--but Dugdghall? Are ya freaking kidding me? My mind wouldn't leave it alone, kept trying to figure out how to pronounce such a word.
Alright, enough of that. The story was actually good. I liked the plotting, I liked the ending, I liked the tension throughout--but having said that, I will say that for a torrid romance novel, it didn't let up much. I think that is the mark of a good writer, by the way, that ability to keep the tone of the book right on course. It's dark, it's full of tension and it's life or death throughout. But because of all that, it was also very heavy.
In addition, I will say this, too: The list of creatures inhabiting Sheoul is...well, it's probably a rich tapestry to some, but I find it excessive and annoying. Seems like every other creature mentioned or referenced is either a new variant on another or else some brand new addition. It gets a little old and once again yanks me right out of the story as I pause to make connections in my head. Am I studying here or reading for entertainment? Thank the good gravy there isn't a test at the end because I'd be failing.
At the end, though, Ione is absolutely a great writer. I probably won't go out of my way to read any more of her stuff, but if a book should fall in my lap, I wouldn't kick it to the curb.
Oh, and one last thing--a spoiler--

The Demonica series is one of my favorites. Sinead and Conall bring a whole new meaning to the word "steamy". The plot is amazing and the writing is superb. If you haven't read one of Larissa's books yet, step out of your cave and into the land of demon romance. It's an experience unlike any other.

Pricolici. Varcolac-y. Dermoires. Sheoul. Freaky Tiki, Nitzy-Nutsy... Sheeesh! Ok. I like her and I have made it through all the books but honestly this book gave me a raging headache. By the end of it, I had an absolute headache.
Ms. Ione is back to dragging in the kitchen sink, the toilet and the whole damn garage with the names and species and planes (not the flying in the air kind). It is dizzying. I have waited for Con and Sin to get their story and I am just so exhausted now that it is finished. I want to remember what I am reading but find myself going back and forth between chapters to figure out whosa, whatsa, whersa, whena. I never think it's a good thing when I can't remember what book told who's story and who is who's mate and why do they matter?
Suffice it to say that I am sorta glad that this family has run out of siblings (so to speak). I saw at the end of her book she is seguewaying into a 4 horsemen of the apocolypse series but I think I need to leave the demon plane and play elsewhere. My marbles and I are going home.

I enjoyed this latest installment - no major details about the story here, there are other reviews that do that (sometimes too much) there were some surprises and yes sometimes there was a bit too much information about other characters and yes you must read all 5 novels in order to fully enjoy the series, but if you read the first like me you were hooked. The appearance of the horseman rather threw me off a bit - but that was then explained at the end, a sneak peak for her next series. Hats off to Ms. Ione, who know whens to stop and move on to another series and not continue on and on and on..... I am really looking forward to her next series - interesting premise - the four horsemen of the Apocalypse.

I loved this series so much and was looking forward to this last book; however, I had to FORCE myself to finish it! I was so disappointed. I just found it to be very uninteresting and nothing along the pace as the other books in this series. Honestly I can't even remember what happened in this book. Such a bummer and a horrible end to this series.....

When Sin unknowingly unleashes a disease that is threatening the werewolf community and it is wreaking havoc on the whole demon world. Con, who is half werewolf / halfvampire, must try and figure out a way of stopping the virus while trying to keep Sin from being killed.
After Con has sex with Sin after a bet, they both try to put on the front that they despise each other. They loathe working together but they both feel the sexual tension that is building between the two. Con also has to fight the fact that he is getting addicted to Sin's blood which could send him over the edge as well.
I so enjoyed this book. I might have to say that it is possibly my second favorite of the series only because Wraith's book is still my favorite. He will always hold that number one spot I think. This book though, I found myself laughing, cheering, and crying right along with the characters. There were so many emotions that I went through due to this story that just proves the wonderful skill that the author has with her writing. This was the last book in the series, as far as I know, but I do understand that she has a spin off series that intertwines with the Demonica Series. We are even introduced to a few characters that are going to be portrayed in the spin off in Sin Undone. I personally can't wait to dive into those stories as well. What a ride these books have been and one I don't want to stop!
