I find that a child's enjoyment & subsequent 'attachment' to a book or story is related to the enthusiasm with which it is read to them. This book is written to be read aloud. The story is fun and the illustrations are wonderfully done making it easy to present a captivating reading to your child.

I ordered this book as a replacement for a paperback version that belonged to my daughter's kindergarten class. The paperback version was actually more expensive than the hardback, so of course, I ordered the hardback copy! This book came in perfect condition, and the teacher was pleased.

Great rendition of classic children's book series. My 3 year old loves this book and is able to follow along easily, eagerly awaiting the turn of the next page to see what the moose will do next. Short enough to be included in your daily nap or bedtime routine that includes multiple books. Highly recommended.

Adorable! My daughter loves this author's works/creations. This is the 3rd book in the series we own. A daily read and she requests a muffin each time we read it! Thankfully I love baking and giving her homemade muffins is a healthy option.

This book arrived in perfect condition. My partner and I gave it to our favorite 3 and 5 year olds. They immediately demanded that it be read to them. For the rest of Christmas Day, we heard the 3 year old randomly saying to herself, "If you give a mouse a cookie..."

I think this gift had its desired effect.

we got this book because we already had the Mouse/Cookie, Dog/Donut and Cat/Cupcake books and my son really likes them all. he has not been as interested in this book. i don't think he was able to relate to the moose's shenanigans as much. oh well. i'm sure every kid is different!

I love this book. But, that's not really important. What is important is that every child I've given this book to LOVES it. Over the years I've bought over a dozen, if not two dozen, copies. BEST kids book EVER!!

Six years after their classic 'If You Give a Mouse a Cookie', Numeroff and Bond were back with an equally compelling tale of generosity unrewarded. Because of course one thing leads to another -- each seemingly logical, each somehow more outrageous -- until once again the accommodating child is left exhausted.
The illustrations are wonderful, particularly the moose donning a sweater to fight off the chill. Your children will howl with delight.
