This "book" is mainly a collection of quotes most of which are not original and/or are derivate work from known quotes.
The selection of quotes is not even good. There are many more quotes on achievement or success that are more powerful.
Also, some of the quotes underline a whining attitude and resentment versus bosses and leaders.
Leaders of corporations are there to CREATE VALUE and deliver results for the shareholders that employ them and in doing so they employ (and remunerate) people.
The motivation of the employee is critical to results and productivity and to organizational success.
But the objective of a leader is not to be the kindergarten/playground master.
Organizations employ adults and possibly mature one. Not children.
The metaphor of the book lacks pathos and storytelling strength.
This book did not teach me ANYTHING I did not know or thought already. It is also very heavy on graphics and drawing and very light in content... All in all a waste of money. I cannot believe I bought two of them... only because I trusted the rating.
I have to doubt the rating of this book or maybe it was rated by "friendly" people. Incredible waste of paper.
Mr Sinek youtube video are somewhat more interesting than this "book".

Wonderful Book, I love it. Smells good too. Sinek has heart in the right place, and backs it up with logic that anyone can understand. Great for kids or adults. Should be required reading for managers and executives, since they often have their heads and their bootys too close together, trust me I've been on both sides of that equation.
