Even as a Older teenager, this book is very enjoyable and relatively immersive. Very good descriptions and words that I wouldn't expect a child to understand! Very good story that anyone into Dragons or Fantasy in general would enjoy.

I'm 18 and really enjoyed reading this book. Lots of action and suspense! Although, I would not suggest this book for very young readers. BE WARNED this book does have some rather gory scenes in it that I'm really not sure are appropriate for younger kids. But it really is a very engaging story and I can't wait to read the rest of the series!

My son, who, admittedly, was not an avid reader until about the age of 7, is absolutely hooked on this series. At this point he is at the edge of his seat, waiting for the release of book #5. He has no problem keeping track of numerous characters and is completely engrossed in the plot.

I loved the book. So much danger, adventure, and excitement! I think every one age 10+ (ten and up) would love it. And parents reading this review, THERE IS NOTHING INAPPROPRIATE!!! besides dead bodies, coming death, blood, and mothers who don't care for their kids. But It Is A Wonderful Book!! Take this advice from me it's a good book and you should let all kids age 10+ read this.

This was awesome book. Never wanted it to stop. I need book 2 now! Lol. Got other books but missing some. Loved the story and hated dragons getting hurt. When will they add Pyria to their group? Clay and Pyria need to be mates, it the only sense. Starflight ans tsunamia can be mates and sunny I don't know. She to cute. All them just so beautiful. Hated killing dragons part but couldn't resist listening to all of it even if it made me terrible sad. Ending was such cliff hanger. Seems when you locked up in cave you don't know your own tribes anything from mating signs to culture and friendliness. They got only scrolls to lead them. Hope their memory good. Cannot believe the plot twist though. I thought they all be good. Hope to get book 2 soon. How long will dragonets be dragonets I wonder?

Surprisingly, my 9-year-old boy, preferred reading Wings of Fire over playing video games. I expected him to read the whole book in about 6 to 7 weeks (one chapter or 20 minutes each day as homework). However, he managed to read the whole book in just about 10 days. We are reading book 2 and he seems to be enjoying it really well.

AWESOME BOOK
This book is awesome because when I have to stop reading it it leaves me with suspense. Not to mention the action and some funny parts. But the best part was when the Dragonets were in the sky kingdom and when they found out that Glory could spit poison. And at the end the Talons of Peace killed Krestel.

Fantastic book and fantastic series. I just finished book 5. I'm a 23 year old adult and I loved it. Great characters. I like how each book centers on a different character and it doesn't feel forced for the plot. I'm not good at reviews... anyway, great series.
