I hesitate to even write this review. While I LOVE this series, I just didn't love this book. I spent most of my time annoyed at Liam. I love Liam in the other books, but I just feel that he is so selfish in this one. Even though I know how the story between Josie and Liam ends, I still cringed during this book. I loved the parts where Josie was still in his life. I disliked the parts when she wasn't there. This is teenaged angst at its best. I love the writing style. I didn't give this book only three stars because of the author. Maybe had I not read the first book in this series before I read this one, I would have given this one 5 stars. Josie and Liam belong to each other and I just couldn't bring myself to read about him and his sex life with those other women. I know that Liam felt all out of sorts and that his father was the major contributor to his feelings, but he did have a good friend network. He just forgot to let them in. Their communication was horrible. Again, I know that they were 18. I even skimmed over this sex scenes with the others. My heart hurt for this couple. I didn't want to read about his life without Josie. If you have only read this book and not the first book in the series, then go get it. I did like meeting Harrison for the first time. I honestly just want to get this book out of my mind and get the story of Josie and Liam back in there.

Liam Westbury has his future all planned out already. The only problem is Liam is not sure that he wants to go along with that road map because it isn't what he planned, it's what others expect of him. Finding My Way is told entirely in his POV and gives insight to how Liam Westbury became Liam Page during the 10 year period after graduating high school. There's no doubt that he loves Josie Preston and wants a future with her, but Liam is struggling internally with measuring up to expectations that he can't see for himself and even Josie is expecting him to fulfill his potential. Although Liam is a star athlete with NFL potential, he's interested in pursuing music. Understanding his home life and how smothered he felt definitely made me empathize with him on the choices he made, including the multiple screw ups along the way. He needed to be in charge of his future and to make his own decisions, even if it cost him the person he loved the most because he couldn't be the person she deserved if he didn't like who he was or what he was doing with his life. Admittedly, Josie comes off as the sweet and supportive girlfriend, but also a bit oblivious and a little too idealistic with the image of her future with Liam. I felt like the story got a lot more interesting once Liam gets out to Los Angeles because he's left his bubble of security into a cutthroat environment where there's no trust, and it opens up his eyes but also pushes him to pursue his talent while living real life experiences along the way. Even though this is book 4 in the Beaumont series, I read it first because I wanted the background about Liam before diving into Forever My Girl when Liam returns to Beaumont to face everyone he left behind.

This book was utter perfection for me. Nope not even kidding a little bit. Finding My Way was all I had hoped it to be and more. I guess I should share that I adore this Beaumont Series so much and so if I could give it more than 5 stars I so would!! This may be number four in the series but it’s really the prequel to the entire series and puts into place the 10yrs that Liam Page Westbury spent away from the people he loves the most. If you haven’t read the rest of the series, what are you waiting for?! No really, my love (and slight obsession with all things Beaumont and 4225 West) began almost 2yrs ago when my friend Sarah found and read Forever My Girl and said “I just read this great book and you’ve got to read it too!” Well let’s just say I not only fell in love with the story but couldn’t wait for more about these amazing characters to come out! So getting to fill in all the blanks of Liam’s story completely from his point of view? Yes please!!
“Your life takes on a different meaning when you break your own heart…”
Sometimes reading prequels can leave you feeling flat because if you’ve read the remainder of the story what new things can you possibly learn, right? But Heidi McLaughlin does such a masterful job of bringing the characters to life and showing you all the angst and turmoil, fear, guilt and self-hatred that Liam was faced with as he makes the hardest decision of his life. Even knowing that eventually things are going to be okay didn’t stop me from feeling so sad for him, first in dealing with the truly awfulness that were his parents (Sterling and Bianca Westbury were deplorable!) to the despair Liam feels when he begins to doubt the football plans he and Josie had created for their future. Seeing him know that what he needs most is just what his grandmother encourages “follow only your dreams” was tear inducing. But then in following those dreams he will be leaving behind not only his girl but the family he loves in Mason and Katelyn was even worse. Throughout Forever My Girl we were given glimpses of the past first of Liam in high school with Josie (QB1 and his cheerleader) and then of his musical life, but getting to experience his rise to fame and his becoming Liam Page was not what I expected. Seeing Liam come in to his own musically was gratifying, seeing him become so shut off emotionally and engage in a ‘one night stand’ series of encounters was just depressing. But it was his relationship with his grandmother Betty, her total belief in him that touched me greatly and broke my heart for Liam when he loses her all too soon. I also loved getting to see he and Harrison forge their friendship from the beginning, the way Liam looked up to him and the way Harrison encouraged the music between them. Then we have all the drama with psycho Sam (ok I maybe liked her for about 2mins, but yep total psycho), knowing the way that she manipulated Liam even in the early days of the band made me hate her even more. It was clear that despite the years that he stayed away from Beaumont, his heart and peace were always residing there. That Liam basically tortured himself with his guilt, even though his reasons were rooted in the knowledge that unless he followed his dream of music he would never be whole, it was really an emotional thing to read. So all in all watching Liam try to decide who he is the quarterback phenom Westbury or the rock god Page, at the end of the day Liam finds that following your dreams may change, the path of your journey may change but your destiny never does if you follow your heart. “Home is nowhere and everywhere I guess”, says Liam; but I think in the end he comes to realize that his home is Beaumont and his heart was always with Josie and that taking the chance to reclaim it all may be what he needs to feel whole once again. Can’t wait for what’s next!

Quarterback in the NFL, that is what everyone sees for Liam Westbury's future. Growing up in Beaumont, Liam has been primed by his father from an early age to fill that role and the whole town has eagerly stood by and waited. Final year in Beaumont High should be perfection, with the love of his life, Josie, by his side and colleges lined up for him to pick from. Except that it isn't. Everyone simply assumes this is what HE wants, but no one ever asks as if no one really cares.
Buckling under the pressure of expectations that are not his own, Liam decides to follow his heart and it leads him to places he has only dreamed about. Finally feeling he is doing what he was meant to do, he should be happy, but he isn't. Not really. Making music and performing for large crowds of cheering fans are the greatest feeling, but until that one particular person is cheering him on from the crowd, he won't be complete.
Years of working hard in the industry has put him in a place where he can be proud of what he has accomplished. Finally he feels ready to face his past, but will he be ten years too late?
*****
Heart-breaking and uplifting at the same time!!
With this novel Heidi McLaughlin has written, she has answered the request of many, hoping to get a backstory on Liam Page, and what happened before. Well folks, here you have it. Quite the contrast from preppy jock to tattoo-toting rocker, but the transition is so logical and completely plausible as described by Heidi.
Her insight in the workings of the adolescent teenage mind are obvious, evidenced in the described struggle between the adult 'need' and the child 'want' in Liam. That boy was so conditioned to be a pleaser, always making sure everyone else was taken care of and looked good. A leader not just on the field, but one in life. Someone who was not just followed, but who felt great responsibility to his followers. So much so, that he denied himself, for fear of disappointing them. Sadly, it is difficult to find fault with anyone other than the parental units in this case.
When Liam finds his dream to pursue, his own dream, he finds himself on his own. Being young and impressionable and thrown into the deep end of the crazy world of music, he has to learn his lessons. But his own strong moral compass and good sense of self pulls him through and makes him a stronger person and better performer. One even he can be proud of. All he would want now is the pride of the girl with whom he left his heart.
Spanning about ten years, the story jumps from a long earlier segment into a few shorter, later segments leading to Liam's return to Beaumont. Although I enjoyed being able to peek in on his progress over the years, I feel I missed out on some major events along the way. On the whole the last portion of the book felt a little choppy because of the gaps in time, although I understand needing to create connective tissue to the rest of the story.
FINDING MY WAY is technically the Prequel to the first book in the series; FOREVER MY GIRL, and so I guess could probably be read as a first book if you chose to do so, but I would still suggest you read it where it is in the series. This book won't serve well as a standalone, since there is too much left open and unresolved at the end that, unless you've read the other books, will never find conclusion.
✨A poignant, impassioned and turmoiled change of course.✨

FINDING MY WAY (BEAUMONT 4) by HEIDI McLAUGHLIN
I looooooove this series and though I am not much of a fan of Liam Page, I truly love how Heidi McLaughlin wrote everything from book 1. Finding My Way is Liam Page's side of the story, a prequel to Forever My Girl. Told in his POV, we get to live the life Liam Page lived after he left Beaumont.
Like I said, I am not a fan of Liam Page. Why? Well, the fact that he did leave Beaumont & Josie the way he did made me hate him (in a way). And reading this book is like going through that scene over again. It was heartbreaking but enlightening at the same time. But just to get the record straight, I understand why Liam had to leave but I still hate how he did it.
Hands down to Heidi McLaughlin in writing this book with so much sincerity and genuineness from Liam's side. I think she did a wonderful job in giving fans of this series the back story of Liam & Josie's life in high school. Liam has always been a leader and being a leader comes with so much responsibility & pressure that at the end of this book all those expectations and pressure made him leave the place he loves and the only person he wants. Reading that scene made me furious and sad. I guess, it's understandable but with him leaving and not knowing things made it very difficult not just for him but most especially to Josie.
This book tells a story of Liam & how he coped and pursued his dream. All the partying and girls was told in this book yet the other side of him that he left in Beaumont still lingers. It's obvious he loves and will forever love Josie but I still hate him. HAHAHAHAHAHA! There was some fast forward scenes in this book and for me it was okay. I think it was necessary to connect all the dots in the story and it made more sense.
As a fan of this series, I am still hoping for the book about Liam & Josie where I can finally say that I don;t hate Liam anymore. I am still looking for more effort and grand gestures from Liam Page. I know he did some in Forever My Girl but for me it was not enough. I mean, I want more effort from him and a story that focuses on his and Josie's life after FMG.
I recommend this book to be read after reading all 3 books in the series. This is not a standalone and I think fans will very much appreciate this book, especially those who are fans of Liam Page. I really hope there's more though. *fingers crossed :)

(quote) If eighteen year old me could ask twenty-three year old me what his life would be like, I’d tell him to stay in college. Life is not what I thought it would be.
As Forever My Girl’s prequel, Finding My Way gives readers the full story of Liam’s point of view from high school, college, and his music career. As the star quarterback and town golden boy, Liam is expected to make certain choices about his future. But as his senior year progresses and his decisions come due, Liam begins to feel overwhelmed by the pressure to perform and follow his father’s plan. His reaction to that pressure changes his course for the next ten years as he transitions from Liam Westbury to Liam Page.
It was one thing to read the confusion and frustration Liam felt as he tried to figure out what he wanted to do beyond high school. It was an entirely different feeling knowing exactly what was going on back in Beaumont the whole time. There were times I wanted to shake Liam for the way he handled things, and other times I was smiling alongside his successes.
FINDING MY WAY gave more insight to Liam’s experiences than readers have gotten from all the other books in the series combined. There was just more detail to the story than can fit in flashbacks and asides in the other novels.
I loved watching his relationship with his grandma develop, as well as the beginnings of 4225 West and his relationship with Sam. Josie plays a role only in the first part of the book, as this truly is Liam’s point of view and when he leaves Beaumont behind him, her voice is gone too. I missed her, but the insight from this time period was worth that missing voice. (Besides, we know where she is and what’s going on with her.)
This is an excellent companion to FOREVER MY GIRL, filling in the gaps and answering questions. When I finished this, I felt like I needed to re-read FMG right away because the transition to the early events was so natural. It was a great example of the overwhelming feelings that hit as high school comes to an end and real life looms, especially when it seems no one understands.
Thanks to Heidi McLaughlin for providing me with a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

Liam, Liam, Liam. I understand him so much better now. The story starts when Liam is in high school and with Josie, Mason and Katlyn. The pressure that he has on his shoulders is so heavy that I felt like I was carrying the weight of him on my shoulders. His father was not a father at all. Just a man who wanted to force Liam into a mold that Liam no longer wanted. Liam's mother was a void that did not help her son the way that a mother should have.
Josie should have payed more attention to the fact that Liam was suffocating in his own skin. I just think that when you are young, you really don't know any better. You see what you want to see and nothing else.
You can't fault her though. It's all she knew. Liam could have made her see what was going on in his head. But they were both young and at that age who the heck can communicate that well anyways. His parents were crap and Josie was a good girlfriend but she was so sold on the plan that they would go to college and Liam would then go into the NFL and they would live happily ever after.
The whole scene of Liam leaving Josie and going to California gutted me. GUTTED ME!!!
I knew it was coming but to to read more of everything that led up to Liam walking away from his life just opened the flood gates. I could not even think about walking away from everything that I know and love. Liam did it to save his sanity. I am glad that he got his time with his grandmother and had that family relationship that he desperately needed.
Here's the thing I got from this book. You can run away from your problems, you can think that there is something better on the other side. While you try to do something different with your life does not necessarily mean that you are going to happy with it. While Liam needed to get away and have a clean break, he learned that he should have communicated better, he should have fought for ALL the things that were important to him. But it all worked out in the end.
I am grateful that Heidi wrote this book. Liam's story really need to be told.

So I love, love, LOVE Heidi McLaughlin and when I heard she was writing the prequel to Forever My Girl, I was so SO SO excited! There are so many unexplained issues from that past in Forever My Girl, but there really wasn’t a way to explain them. But now, we have the explanations.
The Beaumont series is one of my favorite series and Finding My Way made it even better. You get to learn so much about what happened leading up to Liam Westbury becoming Liam Page. You will hate him, you will love him and you will understand him so much more.
Finding My Way starts while Liam and Josie are still in high school. You learn more about them as a couple. You get to see their new love. You see them growing together. You also get to see Liam with Mason. And see how decisions they all make, and to me, especially a decision Mason made, caused Liam to be unsatisfied in his life.
You get to read about how Liam starts 4225 West with Harrison. And, if I’m really honest, I’m a Harrison girl. I love the drummer. And I love seeing the younger version of him. I love seeing when Quinn came into his life. You also get to see Liam with Quinn. And ugh, it’s so cute!
You learn of the ups and downs of Liam’s life and career. You learn about everything. I can’t say too much, but I want to. But if I do, I give away the book and some of the series. And I don’t want to ruin it for you.
I highly recommend you become familiar with Liam Westbury and Liam Page. You won’t regret it.

This is the series that just keeps on giving. McLaughlin continues to bring what we all love about her writing back in Finding My Way. This is a new book in the series that is all about our favorite Rockstar LIAM!!! We meet Liam Westbury before he becomes Liam Page with 4225 WEST. The perfect book for the fans like myself, to finally know how Liam became the Rock God we adore!!!
Read along while you revisit Liam's early years in high school when he dated Josie and played football with his best friend Mason. Understand what and why he chose his path in life. What influences his choices and what didn't. Find out how 4225 came to be and the person that possibly guided him towards that life. Liam's choices weren't always the smartest but they did lead him to where is is now in his life. Relive some sad moments and rejoice in the happy ones.
Finding My Way is full passion and struggles. I fell in love even more with Liam and his life. Can't wait to see what else McLaughlin will bring. She raised the bar even higher with Finding My Way. Want to know what kind of author Heidi McLaughlin is to me: autobuy!!!
If your new to the series, you won't regret starting it and plowing through each book. If your a loyal follower like me, this one will make you love McLaughlin hardcore. It's pretty awesome really. I can't say it enough times.
This is the 4th book in the series I rate with a 5 tree rating, so if that doesn't sell you then LIAM the hot rocker should do the trick. Happy Reading! - Yara

It is no secret that I absolutely LOVE the Beaumont series by Heidi McLaughlin. It was so exciting to go back to the very beginning and find out what really happened in the beginning. Liam Page is one of my favorite’s and to see him as a young Liam Westbury was so much fun. I LOVED the high school version of Liam but the inner turmoil he suffers broke my heart. It really puts things that happen years later into perspective. I will say that following his high school years in the early stages of his career there were times I wanted to slap him silly. But his love for Josie is always right there under the surface that you cant help but feel for him. Heidi McLaughlin has created such an amazing cast of characters for this series that they just seem to creep under your skin and stick with you. I almost feel like part of the family. Her writing is captivating from the very beginning until the very end. I seriously hope that there is more to this series because I am not ready to part with them.

Heidi McLaughlin does it again. I don’t care how I feel about the book going in (No one will compare to Liam and JoJo… Nothing will tear me away for my love for Mason and Katelyn…) I always leave totally captivated! I love this world. At first I wasn’t sure I was interested in Liam’s pre-story to Forever My Girl, but damn if i didn’t get sucked in and yeah, even though I knew some of the plot points because I’ve read all the other books, each one touched me the same way this time as it did the first time. I was anxiously waiting for them to come, in fact.
With that said, you do not have to read all the other books to enjoy this one. In fact, It’s perfect to actually start the series with Finding My Way, becasue really, this is the beginning of the story. how it all happened.
In this story we get Liam’s point of view. How he struggles with what other expect of him in high school, and boy. I swear, I do not blame him for his decision one bit. There is so much pressure to to what other want and no one seems to care what he wants. Including Josephine. It’s only natural for him to feel trapped when everyone around him is busy planning his life and no one seems to care that he’s drowning. There is no life line. he is just left there.
At the same time Liam’s father is so caught up in his desire to see Liam attend a certain college and fulfill his (father’s) dream of a professional football career, that he desperately turns to his longtime girlfriend, Josie. But Josie is also addicted to “their” dream. She has no idea Liam is having all these doubts. Then the ultimate betrayal. Out of fear, and pressure, and love for his friends, Liam makes a big mistake and puts his friends before himself. But in the end, this decision comes back to bite him in the ass.
Feeling desperate, there is only one thing to do.
Run.
Break it off with Josie, and run.
And so he does. But those of us who have read the series know what he’s leaving behind. So the heartbreak at this decision, knowing that he has to make it. he has to leave to be himself and make his own way in the world. But at the same time also knowing that he’s breaking a very special bond. Well, it was difficult to read. You just want to take him aside and say look, just take a breath.
But Liam is trapped in a downward spiral and he makes decisions he will regret later.
Love it. I highly recommend this whole series. Heidi took me back to Beaumont and showed me a different time, a different place, and a set of very different characters - even though they are the same people, they are such different people! In addition, we get to learn how Liam and Harrison met. We even get a glimpse of Quinn. :)

I was very interested to see how things changed for Liam, especially since I loved Forever My Girl so freaking much. I'm a little disappointed in this book mainly because it's very repetitive. His thoughts repeat themselves a lot and really, to the point of like okay, we get it, you know? But if you can push that aside, it's really a fascinating book. To see how Liam was like in high school, see the pressure he faced because of the town and because of his father, see his relationship grow with Josie and then to watch it all fall apart. But my favorite part of this book is him meeting and becoming friends with Harrison. That is a friendship I have loved since Harrison was introduced so seeing it from the beginning was something I've always wanted to see.
If you haven't read Forever My Girl, I kind of feel like you should start with this book and then read the first three books. This is technically a prequel story so it makes sense. I kind of wish I had read this before Forever My Girl because . . . well, I know where it's heading and it just loses some of the excitement of the unknown. Whereas, if you haven't read the first book, you have no idea what's going to come of this and I bet it'll be a completely different reading experience for you.
While I really loved seeing the growth of Josie and Liam's relationship, I wish I would've seen more of his and Mason friendship. What we saw, Mason was always all over Katelyn (which I'm totally okay with) but it just would've been nice to see more of it. These two are like brothers and from the beginning it's been a friendship that I've been extremely fond of. What we did see of their friendship is probably what made me crave to see more.
This book was heartbreaking, even knowing the future of all of these characters. One thing it did was make me view Sam completely different. When we first meet her, she actually appears to be . . . dare I say it? Normal. She put a lot of work into 4225 West and really, they do owe her a lot but then things just fell apart and they fell apart bad.
While I can't say I loved this book as dearly as I have the previous books, it's definitely worth the read and a fantastic look in to Liam's past.

Four JoJo ✩✩✩✩ Stars!
"We're soul mates, Liam. You'll always be a part of me."
Let me take a moment to say, I truly hate Sam Stalker Moreno, and Sterling Westbury.
Now that being said, let me tell you : I am a fan of the Beaumont Series. I love Liam Page. So when Heidi said she was writing a prequel, I WAS SO IN!
In this story we get a glimpse of Liam's life before 4225 West. Before he was a Rock Star.
* * * Spoiler Alert * * *
The story is written from Liam's POV. I really loved that. Liam was struggling. There was so much pressure and It seemed like no one cared what he wanted. Sometimes even Jossie seemed not to care. That was not the case of course. I know she cared. She loved him, but there were times when he really needed her the most, like the time he played the guitar for the first time for her and he didn't get the reaction he was expecting.
It really touched me to finally read about Liam and Mason's friendship. I was looking forward to that. And I must say it felt good to finally be inside Liam's head when he decided to leave Josie. I can't blame him. He was so lost, lonely and even betrayed.
Finally Harrison James. OMG! I think I fell in love all over again for him!
I recommend this book and the entire Beaumont Series.

REVIEW:
After reading the Beaumont series, specially Forever My Girl, it seemed that there was so much left to say about Liam's story that it needed this book. I think a lot of fans of the series might I agree with me that this is definitely one of my most expected and favorite reads.
In this story we are "inside Liam's head". We see a much younger version of him, with all his vulnerabilities and struggling to truly understands what he wants for him, while telling us fans once more what it means to be in love, specially the kind of love Josie and Liam have for one another.
It pained me to read about him struggling to find himself and what he truly liked and that no one seemed to actually see what he truly enjoyed.
Moreover, for those who were wondering what kind of relationship Liam had with Mason before the awful news he receives in Forever My Girl, this is also your book. You get to understand all the emotions poured into the first book that lead Liam back to Beaumont. Their shared a beautiful and true friendship and this is also one of main reasons I wanted to read the book, too.
They say the choices we make defines us and that's what this book is all about: how Liam Westbury became Liam Page. All the decisions he made, the happy and painful ones all in a book. I truly think this is the best tribute the author could have given hot, sexy and lovable Liam and this is definitely a book I recommend to all Beaumont fans!

Liam, Liam, Liam.... you never disappoint! I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I think it really was needed to bring Liam and Josie's story to a full circle. You need to know where it began to fully enjoy where it ended! Again, Heidi came through with an amazing book! Im glad I got to see a little bit more of Mason as well!

Finding My Way is the newest installment in The Beaumont Series. It takes us back to the beginning, before Liam Page exists, where Liam Westbury is the golden boy of Beaumont and can do no wrong. With this book we got to see young Liam, Josie, Katelyn, Harrison, JD and Mason (which is sad because he and Katelyn are so cute together and if you have read Forever My Girl you know how that works out). I loved that it took us on Liam’s whole journey, from scared and confused Liam Westbury trying to do what everyone expects and wants of him, to confident Liam Page who only follows his own rules. You can feel Liam’s confusion and hurt on every page. Then when he finally decides to follow his dream you understand why he felt he had to do it the way he did. You can feel him missing Josie all the time and his guilt for leaving the way he did. And even though I didn’t necessary like that he left (I’m a sucker for a happy ending, but since I have already read Forever My Girl I was good) but I understood why he had to go to LA to follow his dream, not everyone else’s dream for him.
I loved that we got to see a young Harrison James and how he was with baby Quinn was too sweet. Seeing Sam before all the stuff that goes down in the rest of the series was kind of nice. She seemed to be a great asset for the band in the beginning before things changed. All in all, I thought this was a wonderful addition to the series and it helped fill in some blanks.
Heidi McLaughlin’s writing is as amazing as always. She makes you actually feel the emotions of her characters, you aren’t just reading them. She shows you how deep Liam and Josie’s love is even when one character doesn’t entirely understand the other. She writes in such a way that you are basically sucked into the Beaumont world and you don’t want to leave even when you reach the end. I highly recommend this book to all lovers of the series and I highly recommend the entire series to contemporary romance lovers, anyone that loves an emotional read, anyone that loves hot football players turned rockstars, pretty much I recommend this one to everyone.

*Disclaimer* If any of this is babble, I apologize. Wait.....No I don't, I blame Heidi. It was her fault I could not put my Kindle down and was up all night. True Story.
I was really unsure how I was going to feel about this book. I knew I would like the writing style because I find all of her books easy to get lost in. What I was unsure of was whether or not it would be something I wish I had read before I read the other books since it is book four, but a sequel. I actually think it fits in very nicely as book for. Here is where my thoughts get a bit spoilery for the first books in the series, so be warned. Yes, you could easily read this first and be a happy little reader. That being said, I would have come into the lives of the residence of Beaumont with a very different perspective if I had read it first. I would not have been so fond of Josie, for starters. Seeing someone as a teen can do that too you. I think the biggest impact it would have made on me was the emotional impact of Mason's death. Knowing about him after his death is much different than meeting him while he was alive. As far as Liam goes, it really explains a lot about why he made the choices he did and how he got to be the man he became. I think I would need to stand in a long line if I wanted to smack his parents, but in actuality there inability to be the parents he needed turned him into the man he is, so there is that. If you are a fan of this series, you are going to devour this read. If you are new to this series I think it is a nice introduction to the world Heidi has created, but that you would get a different reading experience out of the series than those who read them in the order they were released.

I've loved every book in this series. Finding My Way allowed us to see into Liam's thought processes and also gave us more of how he met Harrison and became friends with him as well as some of his back story. I enjoyed getting to know more about them. I'm looking forward to more from Heidi.

I loved Forever Your Girl, but this story just made me not like a character that I loved before. The writing is good, but I think I would have enjoyed more in the future about Liam and Josie then reading about a past that made everything worse. I think writing a prequel can be tricky and this one just didn't work for me.

I really like this author and the other books she has written, but this one just showed that Liam was a bigger ass than I already thought he was In the first book. The writing was great and the intentions of the author were great but the character is kind of a horrible person!! I wish I wouldn't have read it ... It kind if made me hate him!!!

Heidi McLaughlin did it again! this book is amazing and i was excited to see Liam and Josie back in high school and how deep their friendship is with Mason and Katelyn before Liam decided to change his life, and to see everything that Liam went through to get where he is today. absolutely amazing!

I love the Beaumont series so was very excited when I heard this prequel was coming out. However, after only a few chapters I was already tired of the "woe is me" attitude of Liam as a young man. I feel like he put a lot of people through a lot of crap just because he didn't speak up! As the book went on, it was just more of the same thing....I actually found myself skimming passages so I could get through to the end faster....which was not how I pictured this read going. I'm glad the rest of the series came out first, otherwise I'm not sure I would have continued if this was the first read.

Just when I thought this series could not get any better...it did!
It's no secret I am a Heidi McLaughlin fan. She has auto download status on my Kindle. I read all four books in this series and loved them all. Initially, I wondered how much this prequel could add to this series-- since I thought I knew Liam and Josies' story. Finding My Way added a whole new level of depth and dimension to this story. I was captivated from the first to the last page. There were a few times that I wanted to smack Liam and a few times that I wanted to hug him. Finding My Way gets five huge rock stars.

I really enjoyed seeing how Liam and Josie all began. It was nice to see exactly where Liam's head was when he left her behind. I enjoyed this book as much as the others. Love Liam and Josie and will never get enough of reading about them.
