Another job well done Heidi. Icing on the cake, although there were times I was ready to bang Josie and Liam's heads together. Talk about not seeing what is right in front of you.

Can't wait for Noah and Peyton's story....hint hint.

I started reading this and then started skimming...it was just so slow and boring. Also, I forgot how whiny Josie was.

Plus, mother whole thing starts with Liam and Josie trying to have another kid. They go through "months of hell" but never try to do insemination or IVF, just jump right into adoption...it's weird.

Anyway, these characters are played out IMO.
The story was pretty predictable and I'm not really sure anything major happened except for new babies.
More like a long (LONG) drawn out epilogue.

Sorry I read it.

I loved this book!! I laughed, cried and at times wanted to hurt Sam myself. I loved how you are reminded of the love that Liam and Josie have. It was an amazing read and I loved everything about this book and the ending was a perfect HEA. I can't wait to read about the kids.

My faith in his love for her was seriously shaken in this book. I couldn't help but feel that their story is incomplete. As a big fan of this series I just wish there were one more book the reader can be convinced that our hero is truly hopelessly in love and actually happy and satisfied with his life

This series has been nothing but amazing, but I am so glad we got back to Josie and Liam. I knew their story was not over. How do you know the forever you have is what you want? That is really what this story was. Liam needs to go back to the city because the band is losing their momentum. He can't let his band members down and he misses touring and singing in front millions. This was his life for song long before Josie and Noah. Liam is trying to juggle both lives but he doesn't know what to do. When he decides to go back is just about the worse possible time. When he tells Josie what he decides she is not sure if they are going to make it. Josie still has a lot of trust issues when it comes to Liam. She and Noah lost a lot of years with LIam and she doesn't know if they are enough for him. Josie just feels that Liam is missing out and she is not sure if she is going be able to trust him when he goes away. On top of that LIam and Josie have been having a baby but have had no luck yet. Liam has to leave and on top of that Liam is hiding something from Josie because he thinks it will end them all together. You would think a normal for them they would expect the unexpected but life isn't that way. Every time they think they have made it something or someone is holding them back. Their love is strong, but is it strong enough for everything that is coming.

These two are amazing. I am in total love of Liam. He has been working so hard to prove that he is the man for Josie, but life and lies keep getting in the way. Liam knows that it is hard for Josie to forget and move on, but the problem is he doesn't know how he can keep on proving himself. He has let Nick stay in their life because of Noah. Liam moved back to be with Josie, but with doing that his band is faulting. He had a life before Beaumont and because of that he also has to make a living to support his family and make sure his band members can support theirs. He does what he has to do, but where is that going to leave Josie and LIam at the end? Josie. Goodness she has tried to forget about everything that has happened and moved on, and for the most part she has, but there are still those times. She tries to shake them off, but when things keep on coming up and Liam starts to hide things, well what is she suppose to think. Now he is leaving. Will he come back? Will Josie be enough for him? Is Noah enough for him to come back? All these things and more run through her head. What is she suppose to do?

Loving someone is hard. Trust is even harder. These two have been through everything, now they have to do it again in some ways. These two have been the center of my book love for a long time and I am trying to keep focus. I have loved them forever and to see this part of their story is somewhat heartbreaking, irritating, and of course loving. How can you not love these two. Don't forget you will see the other couples in this book and they will have to make decisions for themselves also. There is a lot about growing up here and what they all want out of life. They just need to figure out what is best for them. You will see some new faces, some old ones, and you will want to hurt some of the people that make our couples lives difficult again. I can't say it enough, I loved this series and I know there is more to come, so with that I will leave you with this. Life is a roller coaster. If you are in it for the long haul all the ups and downs are worth it in the end.

I freaking adore this series I'll suggest that you read Forever My Girl and Finding My Way before you read My kind of forever but while at that you definitely should devour the rest of this series because it is one that you don't want to miss out on plus you will better understand the characters and find it even more enjoyable . Liam and Josie have had their own set of problems like many marriages have been through my heart went out to them they are the couple that started this journey so of course seeing the things that they are going threw hurt but also made them humane and not invincible from real couple issues . Josie still frustrates me to no end but that's just her personalty and wouldn't change anything about her she's a great mom and would do anything for the ones she loves plus she can be super funny when it comes to watching her son play some ball . Now Liam I love him I really do but wish that he went about things a certain way but it was understandable with the way he goes about them , he loves his son , would do anything for his wife , and the way he is with his band of brothers is truly incredible . These two still know how to set the other on fire and bring out the possessiveness the sex scenes are well done with little intense heat .

Reading 'My Kind of Forever' is like being reunited with old friends. This is not a standalone. If you haven't read at least 'Forever My Girl', you will be a little lost. The rest of the romances from this series also play varying roles in this book. So really, this was my chance to catch up with Liam and Josie, as well as the rest of my favorite Beaumont family.

In brief, Liam and Josie have been married for a couple years now, very much in love, but also hitting a bit of a crossroads. The thing is, Liam is a musician, lead singer of 4225 West, yet has been living a quiet family life in Beaumont while plugging away with Harrison and JD in their studio. While this has been great for their families, the time away from LA and the limelight has been affecting their popularity and position on the charts, which will also affect their finances. But the call back to Los Angeles, during a sensitive time in their lives, dredges up the past, which dredges up doubts, insecurities, and tests communication big time.

I loved that we got to see this window of time into Liam and Josie's marriage. So often books end with a happy-ever-after, when really the relationship is just starting. Any marriage is going to have its issues. Then add in Liam and Josie's rocky past, and the potential there is exacerbated. So I really respected the journey they took to solidify their relationship through all the tests they faced.

Liam and Josie had their fair share of drama and angst to deal with. This was a great opportunity to make or break them. Communication! It's amazing how much good or bad communication can affect a relationship. And these two may have tested my patience. But their issues were also very legitimate and I could totally sympathize with them (even while I wanted to shake them). But they also needed to go through all they've gone through to truly find peace in who they are as a couple and where their future lies.

I fell in love with Liam, Josie, and Noah a little bit more in this story. Okay, a lot more. Liam and Josie have a special place in my fictional couple heart. I felt the love coming off the pages. I also felt the insecurities, but the overwhelming sensation was to do anything it took to give them their "forever," and I loved that. And I loved seeing them as their own small family, as well as the big family. Seeing all the couples, all the kids, and some special additions, brought a smile to my face and heart. I loved how everything came together in the end. I'm missing these characters already, and am so glad this book was added to this wonderful series.

My Kind of Forever is the fifth full-length novel in the Beaumont Series and the conclusion to Josie and Liam's story.
Both are married, settled in their livees and everything could be sunshine and roses. But no, nothing is all right.
There are new doubts, challenges to their marriage and much more.
I read this book in onw sitting. I had to know what happens to the characters.
This story has it all—tension, angst, suspense and heartbreak. I've smiled, laughed, cried and was angry at some point. It is not often I feel so connected to the characters, but Heidi McLaughlin has accomplished just that with her Beaumont Series. I love the story, the characters and the words.
I recommend the book and give 5 stars. Thank you Heidi McLaughlin!

I have fallen in love with these characters and I have envied the relationships they have. I'm not talking romantically (though they are amazing and what every girl truly dreams of) but I'm talking about the friendships. They are a family, not just a group of friends and to have a bond like that would be something truly special. I've said it in reviews regarding this series in the past and I stand firm about it. I'm jealous of their family. I want to be a part of that family. To feel as welcome and loved as all of them to do - it's truly something else.

This is a book that even though it's an ending to this series, it's kind of like a new beginning, too. Josie and Liam are truly getting a second chance at experiencing everything from the beginning. He may have missed everything with Josie and especially with Noah but things are changing. There's a lot of baggage that they still need to deal with and that's the main struggle you'll see in this book. Josie, as much as I loved her, I wanted to ring her neck. And it's hypocritical of me because I would probably behaving in the same way but seriously, this man loves you more than he loves anything in the world. You have to see that. Everyone else does.

This book is filled with surprises though. A character who I, along with many of the characters in this book, have hated for some time now show us their true selves and you can't help but feel pity for them. And you can help but respect them even though that's not something you ever expected to feel regarding them. What can I say...people surprise you when you least expect it.

This series shows the potential for the series regarding the children. I have been chomping at the bits just waiting for the next series to come from Beaumont. We've gotten the love stories of all these amazing characters and soon it will be the children's turn. And it's going to be amazing - I just know it. A few things were hinted at in this book and let me tell you, if it happens, I may be the happiest person alive. I'm just so excited thinking about what's to come. So damn excited.

This series has been very emotional from the first chapter of the first book to the very last page. You will feel every emotion imaginable and most times, you will feel it more than once while reading not just this book, but every book before it. These characters are real - I swear it . . . I just have yet to meet them. Until I do, I'm envious of them. Heidi McLaughlin has delivered yet another spectacular and memorable book. One you don't want to miss.

The Beaumont Series is one of the early books that had gotten me addicted to series reading and where also Heidi McLaughlin was added to one of my go-to authors. When I found out that another book was added (& last in this series) the want to relive in these characters was a necessity.

We once again get to experience the story of lead singer and bad boy hottie Liam Page Westbury and his high school sweetheart Josie Westbury with their continued journey entailing never-ending (it seems) challenges that they face since they have known each other.

4225 West have been laying low and living the normal domesticated family life of Liam’s hometown of Beaumont. Since the move back and the change in plans for the band it has began to affect their status. A call back to Los Angeles is a trip that will either make or break them known in this industry again. However, the Hollywood life is the place that had brought Liam to a dark place in his life. The questions, the constant hearsay, more unexpected secrets coming out, along will paparazzi who love to portray a certain story...will it be the end of them?

Although this is Liam and Josie story we get snippets of the rest of the band members and their close circle of friends too! The 5 stars read had many moments that had me teary eyed, gutted, and torn in different directions. It will make you feel so much and the connection felt between the high school sweethearts runs much deeper regardless of the choices/path that Liam had made to find himself. It also presented an overview on his decisions that had affected not only himself but everyone around him as well. This was the perfect end to the series and any new and old fan of the series will thoroughly enjoy the conclusion.

Liam Westbury and Josie Westbury stole our hearts in My Forever Girl and have continued to make us swoon in the other novels featuring their friends. If you have not read My Forever Girl I would definitely read it before reading My Kind of Forever. This novel shows that even after happily ever after’s there will always be problems and troubles that make you test your ability as a couple. Liam and Josie had already gone through a lot. The last thing you want to read about is the couple having issues. Now I would not say, per se, that they- as a couple- had issues, but as individuals they had to really dig deep and see what they wanted in life. Liam is a singer at heart. He loves his job, but most importantly his family. To salvage his career and band he must return to LA. Josie had a really difficult time with their distance and she goes through some things that I will not mention because I do not want to spoil this for anyone but in the end all is well! Even through thick and thin they had each other’s backs. I never for a second questioned it.
The last 80% of the book was probably my FAVORITE out of the entire thing! It was so sweet and I was so happy for everyone. I was seriously smiling throughout the end. AHH!! Such a good ending to a fabulous series! And Noah has grown up to be such a good kid and I see many great things happening in his future- with a certain someone *cough*! ;)
If you read the other books, I would definitely say give this one a go. It features all of our favorite people- and band! The kiddos were all sweethearts and it is so good to see friends really proving that blood is not family but who you welcome into your life.
Bravo, Heidi!

LOVED LOVED LOVED!

You know those kind of books that you just KNOW are going to be good? Before you even start it? Before you even finish it? This is one of those books.

I’ve been Heidi’s BIGGEST fan since the first book in The Beaumont Series, FOREVER MY GIRL. I remember when I first set my eyes of the pages of that book. While I gave it a 3.75 stars, I knew that I had made a connection with Heidi’s storytelling. Her ability to grab the reader and make them care about her characters. It’s a talent that not many authors can master. But Heidi did it, because that 3.75 is what compelled me to keep reading the series.

And THAT was when I found my all time favorite contemporary romance… in book two, MY UNEXPECTED FOREVER. The perfection that was the romance, the character development, the emotional turmoil, everything was simply amazing. And I remember being book drunk on that read for WEEKS!

Fast forward to THIS book — MY KIND OF FOREVER. I am reintroduced to the characters that hooked me. To Liam and Josie. The Harrison. To Jimmy. To everyone! And it was AMAZING.

I won’t go into details of this book because it’s not meant to be read before the others, especially not before book one, which is the first part of Liam and Josie’s story. But what I WILL say is… it was everything I was expecting in the final installment of one of my favorite series. Heidi did it well. The drama, the romance, the humor — it was all there. The intense love that I have for these characters? That came back in full force.

I couldn’t stop smiling as I read through the pages. I was so glad to be with my friends again. In the lovely Beaumont world.

When it comes to reviewing books, I try to be as honest and as open as possible. I will always say when I don’t enjoy something. Or when I find that my tastes are incompatible with a story. So I can say with 100% honesty and integrity that this is book that I would recommend to anyone — who is a lover of romance. Of musicians in love. Of bad boys. Of just well written contemporary love stories.

It was an all around beautiful experience for me. And I would gladly pass on the opportunity for that same experience to anyone who’s willing to listen and read.

Go get this book!
(And the rest of the series, if you haven’t read it)

Being Liam Page isn't easy. Especially when the crazy even from the dead manage to turn your life upside down. Sam is dead but not gone. Even dead she wants to screw Liam over and destroy him.

Liam has been happy with Josie and Noah in Beaumont but his career has been suffering. 4225 West has slowly been sinking. Liam knows he has to go back to LA to revive his career. But at what cost? Can he keep his marriage and have a successful career?

Josie is still having problems with Liam's past and what happened while they weren't together. Being Liam Page wife hasn't been hard but all is about to change and be tested. Marriages have their ups and downs but when there are gossips and tell all books it's harder than it is for any marriage that doesn't involve celebrities.

Loved this book. It was the perfect ending to this series. There were times were I teared up a bit. And there were times I wanted to yell at certain characters and I wanted to shake them. We get to see all the characters together as a family and some old relationships are being worked on and headed in a good direction.

I highly recommend this book. I recommend the whole series to be read in order.

My kind of forever concludes not only Liam and Josie's story, but also The Beaumont Series. I have not read Finding My Way or 12 Days of Forever so keep that in mind while you read this review. I was hesitant about this book, mostly because I know how a story can be ruined for the sake of one more full length novel (yes Find me I am looking at you). To be honest, I am still not sure if 4 stars is the right rating for the book, so don't seem surprised if the rating changes some day. I had a couple of issues with the story.

Problem number one. Josie and Liam have been married for about two years and Josie still believes that Liam is going to cheat on her or will ask her for a divorce. I was expecting a little more trust on both parties and a stronger bond between those two. Josie spends half the book wondering what or who Liam does in LA. That wasn't the kind of relationship I wanted Josie and Liam to have.

Problem number two. Liam and Noah have a fragile bond. How can Liam doubt himself as a father after two years and why didn't he reach out to Noah when he felt that he could be replaced by Nick? I was expecting a touching father/son moment somewhere in the book to seal their relationship. In this book Noah spent more time with Nick than Liam.

Problem number three and that's on me. That problem has two parts, and both of them are about the books I didn't read as I stated above. The book begins with Liam and Josie seeing their baby and finding its sex. Since I hadn't read 12 days of forever, I didn't know who Meredith was or that she was the baby's mama. I was caught by surprise. The second part is the reminder of Liam's not so lovely post. Why did I have to be reminded of Liam and all his women? I don't want to read about my main characters sleeping with other people and that's the reason I will probably never read Finding My Way. Layla was added for the sake of more drama in my opinion.

Problem number three and a half, which I thought after I stopped writing my review. Some things were never answered. The question I wanted the most answered was the identity of the person who sent the diarries to that author. I am guessing it's Sam's uncle, but you never know.

But this book had some good aspects, so it wasn't all bad. I am always happy to revisit some of the characters I have read about and liked or loved. Liam's mother was unexpected and welcomed addition to the story. The kids even though, don't appear much are a good addition to the story and I was extremely happy when I read that the kids will get a spin off series/story, someday. We were sort of teased about Noah and Peyton's story (if they aren't together I will not be happy). I hope they don't end up like Liam and Josie. I will keep an eye for those books.

As I said before Heidi McLaughlin knows how to write a GREAT book! No matter what type of story she writes she always writes a story that pulls you in and keeps you on the edge of your seat till the very last page.

Liam and Josie are finally together and are on a quest for their forever. This story was a roller coaster ride of emotions. At times I wanted to tell Josie to buck up but at other times I knew if I was in her shoes I’d have similar reactions. Who wouldn’t with your husband’s past thrown in your face?

This book wasn't shy of agnst and drama but still had the love and heat from a good romance. There was no way to put it down.
I almost threw my Kindle and was ready to hunt Heidi down but then I knew in my heart that could never happen. Heidi did the ending justice as I knew she would. Although I’m sad this is the last book this was the perfect ending to the Beaumont Series!

Heidi once again out did herself !! Liam loves his life with Josie and Noah in Beaumount when there is a chance to go back and perform it can't pass it up he wishes that he could live both lives as Liam Westbury and Liam Page Rock God. He packs up and leaves them behind because their life is there Noah with his sports and Josie with her shop . They are having a change in there life too is it like living a nightmare all over again or can the make it work. Old people from LA come back in Liam's life but he has grown up and handles it well as do Jimmy and Harrison they are all family men now . Josie get some shocking news and flies to LA to surprise Liam and she for herself Liam Page on stage will she understand it is all part of the act or walk away . THIS IS A MUST READ I am really going to miss the guys from 4225 West .

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Just knowing that I'll be reading about Liam and Josie again, I was giddy with joy. Their second chance at love was beautiful and I couldn't wait to read more about it. They have this special connection that makes their love extra special and their effort to make their marriage work. During this book, Liam's past comes to haunt them and it cause Josie to doubt their love. As events occurred, they both learned that communication is key if they wanted to keep their family together.

It was great to see how Liam's relationship grew with Noah. I wish I could have seen more of that.

It was great to catch up with the rest of the Beaumont characters and how well they all interacted with each other.

You won't be disappointed!! There are some good surprises. Great end to a series, just sad that is over. It would of been nice to have an epilogue.

Heidi McLaughlin has done it yet again in the fifth book of her fantastic series, The Beaumont Series.
In My Kind of Forever we begin with the couple that started it all in the Beaumont Series, Liam and Josie.
Now married Liam and Josie are very much in love and happy. But when Liam feels the need to head to L.A. where it all began to help out an old friend, the past arises. Will being back in the music spotlight entice Liam to leave his family in Beaumont and lead himself on the road back into stardom? Will Josie finally get another child that she longs to have? You will have to read this book to find out!!!
My Kind of Forever is an amazing book! We have all fallen in love with the Beaumont characters. Here is your chance to catch up with these wonderful characters and see what is going on in their own personal lives. I highly recommend this fifth book in this series! You have to read this entire series,it is one that I found I couldn't put down and I have re-read this series many times! Bravo Heidi McLaughlin!! Five star read hands down!!

Another great story in the Beaumont Series!! While the book focused a lot on Liam and Josie...I feel like the stories of all the other characters of the series are woven throughout.
The story grabs you from the get-go (I re-read the first chapter twice because I totally though I had missed something and was going crazy!!) and it never lets go!! I could not step away from the book until I knew how it ended. So many emotions throughout the book...emotions that couples in every relationship go through. I am sad that the series is over the gang...but it was such an amazing journey!! Hats off to you Heidi Mclaughlin for another amazing book!!

I was happy the entire Beaumont family was along for the roller coaster of a ride! Questions are answered, love is tested and a new addition is added to the Beaumont family.
As Liam and Josie navigate through life with the help of family and friends they deal with real life issues we can all relate to. Communication, jealousy, trust, money, parenting, etc...
I am sad to see the series end but am looking forward to reading Noah, Quinn, Peyton & Elle's stories!
