I noticed around the end that this is the longest book in the series. I loved it. The teaser for the next one was amazing. This series has more resurrections i it than all 9 seasons of supernatural combined. Lol

Rebecca Malone was supposed to become a nun, but after accidentally eating far too much bonding fruit and being eased by Twin Kindred, Far and Truth she has decided not to take her vows. Far and Truth managed not only to touch her body but her heart as well. The only problem is that Far and Truth were separated at birth and now seem to hate each other, the only time they have ever worked together was to ease her after eating the bonding fruit. And Becca has doubts of her own, how is she to chose between two men she loves? And belonging to two men goes against her very traditional upbringing. But, it seems that the three of them may have to work together if they are to help save the Kindred from the latest threat.

I love this series, I have been following it from the start, and like many longer series Brides of Kindred has its great books, and its not so great ones. Divided is definitely one of the best books of this series.

For a start…I get two sexy aliens for the price of one, how could that ever be a bad thing? Far and Truth were both big, handsome and delicious, how Becca wasn’t constantly climbing them and demanding sexercise is beyond me. But, more than that, this book was really touching as it featured not just the relationship between the twins and Becca, but also the reconciliation of Far and Truth. In the end, I almost enjoyed seeing Far and Truth overcoming their past and forming a brotherly bond more than I did watching the romantic bond between Becca and the twins.

I said I almost enjoyed the reconciliation more, what tipped the romance to the lead were the sexy parts. The twins were dirty talkers, especially Far, and I love a great dirty talker, it notched the heat level of this book up to dangerous levels, and I loved every second of it. Double the heroes, double the pleasure it seems! Evangeline Anderson excels at writing fantastic sex scenes that not only make me drool, but are also imbued with feeling making all those deliciously illicit scenes feel not only hot, but romantic as well.

I can wax on about this book and series for ages, I must begrudgingly admit that they may not always have the greatest story lines, but I can’t deny how much I enjoy them anyway. Her heroes always manage to light my fire and I love the idea of the Kindred, if aliens ever come to Earth I want it to be them, and I can’t wait to be called to the Mothership, beam me up baby!

Once again, a novel in the Kindred series has impressed me. Evangeline Anderson has well developed and well thought out characters that make the reader empathize, laugh and cry right along with them. Divided was fast paced and well written with some great twists that keep a person reading until the wee hours of the morning. We are treated to a fair mix of returning characters as well as new, some of which will make you want to pull your hair our! Like most of the Kindred books, we get a brief recap in the form of former characters chatting which helps catch the reader up (if you are like me and devoured the previous book in one sitting and it’s been a while since you’ve read it.)

I was really unsure how the plot would unfold with Far and Truth (our Twin Kindred protagonists) being separated at birth. I had this feeling it may turn out to be a bit hokey or forced but Evangeline’s writing is solid and she came through with flying colors. The emotions are well written and it isn’t hard to put yourself right there on the Mothership with these characters.

Rebecca, as a former nun, is conflicted and torn between her morals and the two brothers she is fated to be with. But despite her inner turmoil, Far and Truth are at war with themselves having been separated at birth which never allowed them to bond as brothers. There were times when my heart was breaking for the two of them.

The world of the Kindred continues to expand and grow. This is one of those novels that make me wish I could jump in and live there.

Evangeline Anderson is golden with the "Brides of Kindred" novels. Riveting, action packed tales of a wonderful group of barbarian like aliens who need human brides to mate with to keep their society going. From Beast like, Vampire like, Bonded Twins: all seek their soul mates. In return for keeping Earth safe from a Scourge of darkness, brides are taken by a world wide draft. If it's your time, you go. Period! When a bonding is in question and you think there may be no way to see it through, you wonder what next can go wrong...and here it is! A set of twin males separated at birth and raised by 2 very different worlds finds both wanting to mate with a very innocent woman unable to find a sexual bond with any man, let alone 2 who fight, verbally, non-stop. Each male wants her! But only by joining as a trio will these 3 lost lambs become a force equal to shut out an evil set to possess ANY unmated male of the Kindred, and join to defeat outside influences set against their bond. I LOVE these tales! Evangeline Anderson makes you believe in a wonderful world filled with marvelous stories overflowing with the magic of an alien race of men that NEED women...the sexually hot meetings, the love, action and growth of characters is mesmerizing! Join those of us that have found the Brides of Kindred! Divided is Book 10, and I love all of them!

A grab you installment packed full of action/adventure and erotic romance content to appeal to any reader of sci-fi fantasy reads.

The chemistry between the central characters is hot and frequent in the pages of a story that takes the series into a new direction with a new evil element surfacing. Expect twists & turns as the Kindred battle this new threat all while the warriors themselves try to find their own personal HEA.

I did enjoy the multiple subplots that included morality, nature versus nurture, and what a person is willing to do when faced with an actual crisis. Many people pride themselves on feeling they will always do the "right" thing but will they? The characters in this story face that and much more so hold on to your e reader and enjoy the ride.

The erotic romance portions of this book have a m-f-m relationship dynamic make up. Anyone who has read a previous installment "Sought" has a basic history of what is required for the Twin Set Kindred warriors to be able to use their unique skills so the frequent scenes won't come as a surprise. Yet. It's the manner in how these scenes come to be that will leave a smile on your face.

I do want to add that there is a teaser for the next installment in the series included at the end of this book. i have a love/hate response to this as I loved the glimpse into the next featured couple but hate that I have to wait for it......
Let the stalking being. :D

Becca was an unfortunate victim of the bonding cake fiasco, it brought her a great amount of pleasure from twins Far and Truth. The problem? As a woman preparing to to her vows as a nun she shouldn't be involved in any hankey pankey and being raised catholic she knows she shouldn't have been with one man let alone two.

Far and Truth were separated at birth by unfortunate circumstances and both led to believe the other was dead.

Truth was raised on the planet Pax where touching anyone was taboo, and sharing a woman was disgustingly wrong. Far was raised on the twin homeworld where he was alone while everyone around him had a brother, finding out he had one too should have been a joyous occasion, but when he shirks from your touch and shows his disgust at every turn he fears he may never get the bond he's always longed for.

The only thing they can agree on is Becca, but while Far is happy to share Truth is determined to have her all for himself. And Becca, well she's still trying to accept that becoming a nun is no longer what she wants, but is wanting two men really what she desires now?

When a threat in the Mothership forces them to work together, will is bring them closer together or push them apart for good?

Becca lives a quite life and while she may not be completely happy with it she feels it's what she deserves after the pain from her past. Far and Truth both also have their share of problems, but underneath it all all three care for each other even when they can't admit it. I loved seeing their story and how they found themselves in each other. I also enjoyed seeing the continuation of the Kindred storyline and where everything is going with all the characters from previous books.

Evangeline Anderson books about The Kindred are amazing and more than addicting, but when she writes a super long novel about Twin Kindred it is double awesome on everything!

The story of Truth and Far overcoming being separated at birth and the journey to bring them together and joined with their mate was one of the more emotional and moving in the series. Having been introduced to the twins and Rebecca in the last novel I couldn't wait for their story to come out.
Evangeline has again created a book with riveting series of events that weave themselves into a story that never quits being one OMG minute to the next. Ms. Anderson's phenomenal creativity and imagination knows no bounds and seems to increase with each new Kindred book I read.

First of all we are back on the mothership of the Kindred. This ship is now a familiar home as each book adds more vivid descriptions of the ship, almost like having had a tour.
The author has set up hypnotic visions of the many different worlds that allows us to picture each place and yet leaves enough to our imaginations to paint our own mesmerizing images. This novel also has several new planets and places to experience including the abstract Mindscape and Pas (the home of Pax) and Orthanx.

Being reintroduced to many familiar settings and worlds, as well as the participation of many of the characters from the past books in the series make The Kindred a true saga not to be missed. It is great having the characters from the past books play nice size parts throughout the story. We get to see how they have progressed, who has married, who is pregnant or has had babies, including a hot and yummy love scene with Kor and Maggie.. I suggest the books be read in order for the best experience ever.

I love the heroes, Truth and Far, as with all the twins they are so different yet complement each other perfectly.
Their heartbreaking childhoods and journey to overcome so many obstacles plays at our heartstrings.
Like all Kindred they are major gorgeous hunks, strong alphas whose pasts make them both strong and vulnerable.
Rebecca, their mate has her own demons to fight and it is through the twins that she has discovers how to follow her heart. From a woman's point of view it is refreshing in this series that the heroines consist of all dress sizes, don't have to be 22 year old virgins with fighting skills like wonderwoman.

A horrible evil presence is brought aboard the mothership (I don't want to give away the whole story), but this creates a major crisis that requires our heroes and heroine to embark on a life changing quest. The ride is an emotional, suspenseful whirlwind adventure filled with heart stopping twists and turns.
Evangeline Anderson outdoes herself with some of the hottest love scenes ever, that build up and climax when the twins and Becca finally bond. They are erotic, romantic and an integral part of the characters story. I give a solid 5 OMG's on the hot and steamy scale and suggest ice cubes be available when reading this book.
Garron is introduced, the main character in the next book "Devoured". He is Truth's stepbrother and I can't wait to read about this new Kindred hero with the turquoise eyes.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for am honest review. I honestly love this Author and this book is one of my favorites.
Divided is a fantastic must read and a definite reread.

SPOILERS AHEAD

I had been waiting for this book since I finished the last Kindred book (they become addicting). I was always curious how an almost-nun was going to be paired with Twin Kindred brothers and am amazed at how well Ms. Anderson was able to not only make her hesitation understandable but also show the conflict between the two brothers.

My favorite parts of this story was essentially the backstory weaving in and out. You could understand what Becca was having a problem with initially and her confusion as to why she was unable to just pick one Twin Kindred. (she essentially didn't have any education as to the different needs the kindred had regarding relationships). Then the actual flashbacks that they each had to go through were truly heartbreaking and you ended up not only falling in love with these characters but understanding the strength and weaknesses that each had taken from these past actions. Believe me, at first I wanted to smack Becca... she kept giving the guys the "lets band together!" vibe and yet still planned to leave when everything was said and done. I would NOT have fought having twin Kindred become my mates and I couldn't help but think that she was being too sensitive to an old breakup. Believe me, the flashback really helped her come back into my good graces.

Truth and Far were AMAZING characters. Their past heartaches were stemmed from childhood traumas and it became TOTALLY understandable as to why one wanted the connection so bad and why the other fought it so hard. I admit, I shed some tears during their flashbacks.

I am completely stumped as to how Ms Anderson is able to have such complex and completely different male characters in her books. Each Kindred has been completely different and refreshing but similar enough to have a brotherly bond with the entire kindred breed. You start to look at all kindred as family even though they may not be blood related.

The female characters also have this bond. They seem to want to help each other get through these relationship problems yet they support each other and their decisions even if it means leaving. (For instance when Becca decided to leave after the quest was finished she still had the support from Kat) She may not have agreed with her but she still understood and supported her decision.

Old characters and new.... I LOVE when old characters and touched upon in these stories. Hearing who is having babies and cravings (and hot sex) lets me enjoy the old books all over again. The new characters never cease to amaze me, no wonder she can't stop writing these books. These new characters are strong and I can only imagine what trouble Garron is going to get into in the next book (hopefully coming fairly soon)

overall this is a solid 5 star. length and pricing plus storyline create an amazing buy and you will LOVE this book. Make sure you have read the previous kindred books to be able to know who is who and whats going on or else you will be totally confused.

Part of me really liked this book...conceptually. The world building is good and the cultural adjustments as well overcoming personal prejudice is compelling.

But the angst just goes on and one. And it the same dang thing over and over. I didn't like any of the characters by the end of the book. I sympathized with them but I wanted the to heal and grow and fall in love but instead the book felt like a dirge to me.

I don't like hang wringing angst in books much. I don't mind that things are hard and take a long while to move past but this is too much of the same thing for me to really enjoy the romance.

Ah, Twin Kindred. Be still my heart. It's intriguing the way Ms. Anderson handles twins, one dare and one light. If you're familiar with the series, then you already know about Twin Kindreds from Lock and Deep. Their book was an example of how it's supposed to be. Far and Truth are an example of how things don't always go according to plan. They didn't bond, they hate each other. Becca believes she can choose between the men.

#1) Um, why would you want to?

#2) Even if they do hate each other, Far and Truth are Twin Kindred. I don't understand how Becca thought she could get around bonding the way nature created them to.

Lucky for all three, fate steps in.

Ms. Anderson has a gift for crafting believable dialogue, dynamic characters, and smoking hot love scenes. The Kindred series is fantastic and hasn't lost momentum like some series' do. I'm excited to see more of Ms. Anderson's Kindred books in the future.

I love this series mainly because written to be a HEA or series and the characters oh my ?!! Every person feels real with their own struggles and feelings that I get sucked in and it's hard to come up for air. Another great thing is I can put pause on between books and then come back just as strong!! Highly recommended this series!!!???

I enjoyed learning of a new planet and really enjoyed the main male characters.....problem, it was different. The love scenes to me were still too similar with all the other books. Meaning, none of these women, besides maybe Kat, have any self esteem or know what they want. I would love to see a female character who doesn't stutter, pause constantly, or say " I guess....I guess...sure, it's alright...if you really want to." I suppose I would just like a woman character to make up her mind and stick with it for once. Other than that I'm really looking forward to the next book which seems to have a couple of good plots in play besides the same type of female lead who is unsure and insecure again...But I love this author and am willing to hold out in hopes of a strong female character.

At this point the books just keep getting better and better. I can no longer say I have a fav because I fell in love with each book as the series went on. This series was so amazing. I literally read all 17 books over the past two weeks and couldn't do anything else not even watch my favorite shows because I was so sucked into this world of the kindred. Storyline, characters, and chemistry was amazing. I can't wait for more books in this series to come out!

I have only recently found the wonderfully talented Evangeline Anderson but have devoured her Brides of Kindred series in a quick fashion. The latest one is as amazing, if not better as previous stories in this series. It had me on the edge of the seat, screaming out in frustration, running for the tissues and blown away. Truth, Far and Becca were breath taking. The story surrounding them captured me from the start and i could hard put the book down. I cannot wait until the next installment as the teaser at the end held such promise i know its going to be another fantastic read!

Divided brings Becca, a novice who has decided not to take her vows as a nun, and twins Far and Truth. The Twin Kindred brothers were separated at birth and do not have a twin bond. Becca has to bond the brothers as she works through plenty of Catholic guilty.

As expected Evangeline Anderson write a hot, hot, hot story w/ plenty of space travel and erotic encounters. This was a gifted book that I received for my honest review. I can honestly say you are going to really enjoy this book. You'll get your money's worth b/c it is a nice long story w/ plenty of twists and turns.

Once again Evangerline Anderson has beamed me up to the Kindred lair and I loved every moment. I have read every book in this series and I can never get enough of the Kindred species.I would recommend this book(series) to all sci-fi erotic readers or anyone else who loves reading about hot, passionate, sexy, possessive alien men. Divided has a great storyline, characters, and as usual it is well written. The three chapters from the next installment of this series has me wishing that the summer of 2014 starts tomorrow.Gosh I can hardly wait!!!!!!.:)

This book was great and the characters were fantastic. The trials these three has to go through in their lives to be together were so moving and sorrowful.
Far was probably my favorite Kindred so far. His complete willingness to love and worship his brother and mate, considering the hand he was dealt as a child, is admirable. This book was a rare occurrence for me in the way that reading their horrible events...they were so vivid that I thought I was experiencing their rage and pain along with them.
Truth was hard to deal with but also hard not to love when he accepted his brother. His fierce loyalty and protectiveness is something I value very much in my life. Overall this was a great read and something I would definitely recommend to people in the future.

Oooo, Evangeline did it again. Divided is an awesome good read. I enjoyed the length cause I like 'em long...LOL (no offense)...Seriously though the characters Becca, Truth and Far were developed well...I am not one to give spoilers in a review, so I suggest, if you haven't already read the Brides of Kindred series....This book is #10 and is EXCELLENT, as well as #1 thru #9!
