Congratulations Mrs. Anderson; you've officially made it even harder for me to decide which book in this series is my favorite. Merrick was hotttt, as well as being super masculine and sensitive at the same time (le sigh). If anyone's looking for an erotic sci-fi series that also still has an amazing plot, then this is the perfect series to pick up! Although I have to warn any readers....this series will make human men seem very lame in comparison :P

I just love the Brides of the Kindred series. They are all well written and the characters have so much depth. The books are very expressive and I found myself living and feeling every emotion and even to go as far as to say I've even dreamed myself into the series. Brilliant work of art!!!!

I found Pursued in Bride of the Kindred series well written. I read it one day, because I couldn't put it down. I had to find out what would happen to Elise and Merrick.
Can't wait for Exiled to come out.

This is a good book in a great series. Seriously, how are we so lucky to not have to pay more? This book has so much going for it. Strong protective alpha male- check. Damsel in distress- check. Adventure- check. Some good lovin' scenes- check. Now, as other reviewers have pointed out- This damsel has had a rough rough past- and I thought it was dealt with well.
Yes, this book makes sense when you read in order. I didn't give it 5 stars, cause while I like- in fact LOVE hearing about the characters from the past books- I wish we didn't hear so much about Lauren and Xairn. Sorry, they are my personal least favorite. And other than hearing constantly about gross food combos that the pregnant women eat (which we've heard about for books now) we don't hear much from the men (other than constant medic/Doc Sylvan). How about some warm fuzzy man CARING for pregnant woman stuff. I don't know- carrying her around or giving her a bath or something. I'm just sick of the food stuff. BORING.
Okay. Nuf said. It's many pages of mostly goodness.

Everything the title says. The heroine is INCREDIBLY STUPID. I have a hard time that believing that she is intelligent or tough minded enough to defend victims of abuse as she doesn't seem to be able to even defend herself. I felt so sorry for the hero as he has to put up with a heroine that has a mental age of 10. Most of the time she is crying, lashing out at him or putting herself in dangerous situations and then leaving poor Merrick to deal with it. Even when he saves her, it is pretty obvious that she considered the safety of a my little pony way more important than that of Merrick.
I have to agree with the other reviewers about the girly chats - there are too many of them and I don't really see myself confiding to people I just met. They don't really add any thing to the plot and they just make the book a bit of a slog.
I have read all the books in the series and to be honest most (not all) of the heroines in the series are equally self absorbed and immature. But Elise does really take the prize. Normally the storyline was enough to make me read to the end. In this book, it is just a rehash of the twin kindred story.
I am about halfway through the book and I had to stop before I throw my ebook against the wall. I don't know ifI want to read the next book in the series or even finish this one.
I don't care what happens to the heroine and frankly the hero is way better off without her.
