Krisa Elyison is a naive virgin being shipped like pampered cargo to Lord Radisson; the envoy to Lenix Prime and the man who bought her contract from The Briar Rose Finishing Academy. Think of a Victorian romance novel and you've got the idea of this bridal planet. The Briar Rose trains and grooms adolescent girls into being the perfect "Stepford" wife (remember that movie?) for any man willing to pay the high price for her contract. She finds herself on the Star Princess with other passengers. On board is prisoner Kurt Teague, the "Feral" from the dark side from the planet of Al'hora that has been blindfolded and manacled by chains to a wall. How can a girl/woman and a violent man/beast find common enough ground to fight for their growing attraction against such insurmountable odds as an ID chip set to inflict pain because of erotic thoughts, an outraged Lord faced with losing his investment, and the sexually uninhibited Yss people who inhabit Planet X where these two crash land. Only reading Ms. Anderson's prose will you discover the answers. This review of mine has been willingly and voluntarily given.

One Damn Hot Read.
First off, if you like extremely hot scenes then read this. If not, you may want to find another author. Because Evangeline Anderson always writes scorchers.
This one has so much put into it. I don't want to give out too much and ruin such a good read. But you have one hot alien male from the Feral race. And then you have one young and very innocent female from a planet nicknamed the bride planet. Put those two together in a life and death story and you get this great story.
I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.

I enjoyed this book very much! It is true erotica set in outer space.
Evangeline is a wonder at writing sexy sex scenes! I enjoy all her Sci-fi erotica and will continue reading them for as long as she wrotes them.
The world of Planet X is so complete and wondefully strange. You believe that this world and these people exist out there somewhere.
Teague is an awesome hero in the true sense of the world. He doesn't start as a hero but becomes one through his actions. Saving our naïve bride from a world of slavery into a world of delicious love.
If you enjoy strange new world with a hot hero and daring heroine and loads of sexy scenes. This is a book for you!

LOVED IT! Planet X was really well written. The author is able to make you feel on the edge of your seat the entire book. Krisa is a girl that was brought up in a very closed off and secluded place to be a wife to the highest bidder. She has accepted this fate and is hoping for her one adventure in life on the way to her destination. Little does she know that she will definitely be getting that adventure whether she likes it or not. Teague is a mammoth of a man that is chained because he is a dangerous brute who likes to carve people up. With a haunted past and a big heart down deep, can she see his true self within the beast? Can they survive the forces coming at them to bring them both down? You will not be disappointed by reading this book. Ms Anderson delivers expertly in this nail-bitter.

An intriguing and erotic read. Krisa wants her own life, but has resigned herself to her bride-to-be status or so she thought until she met Teague. Teague is everything her intended is not - exciting, hot, tough, scary and well her own age. The story is a little slow to start, but steadily picks up the pace. These two will go through adventures, heartbreak and treachery before finding an eternal love that will defy and overcome memory erasure. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This was a very good story. I really liked Krisa and Teague and the plot was pretty good and kept things interesting.
Krisa was raised in in a secluded boarding school and is off her home world for the first time. She's on her way to meet her future husband, Lord Radisson. When boarding the space transport she encounters a man unlike anyone she's ever met. A feral man named Teague who is dangerous but stirs her curiosity and interest.
Teague is what's known as a feral. He was raised a slave and had a hard life. He was captured for past crimes and put on a ship to be transport to prison. He manages to (although we never find out how) make the spaceship crash land on a planet so he can make his escape. Unexpectedly, Krisa's sleep pod gave out and she ends up awake too. To keep her safe, Teague has to take her with him.
There's a lot to deal with, with the struggle through the jungle of the strange planet and predatory animals stalking them. Teague has been there before but Krisa hasn't been in the wild at all... not even on her home planet. It's a struggle for her to manage (even with Teague taking care of her) but she does pretty good. She doesn't whine or anything and toughens up in response to the need.
Things are also tense in the personal area. Teague obviously is attracted to Krisa but wont rape her. He does touch her and make her feel things she knows she shouldn't and wont let her lie about the fact that she likes it. Krisa is supposed to remain a virgin for her future husband but has a hard time not giving in to Teague, especially once she starts having feeling for him. One part I really liked this part about the story was Krisa and when and why she ended up giving Teague her virginity.
There are issues that need to be dealt with when Lord Radisson comes to find Krisa. Things go wrong and there's some drama but I liked the way the story ended and was happy for Krisa and Teague in the end. I really enjoyed this book (I'm just sorry it took me so long to get around to reading it as it's been on my to-read list for ages)...It's a sweet and sexy read with a good plot and interesting characters. I'd recommend it. :D

I wont bother rehashing the specifics of the story. Others have done that in their reviews. I just want to say how much I enjoyed this erotic romance. There was enough romance between the characters (something sadly missing in erotica land) and a lot of deliciously described sexy scenes (sadly, a lot of erotic novels have horrible sex scenes that sound like something horny 14 year old boys would write that do more to ruin a novel than enhance it).
This book was pure, unadulterated lust and longing and tension.
The scene in the book where she brings him water on the ship reminds me of an old favorite of mine called Crimson Rapture by Jennifer Horsman (an old historical novel with a sexy pirate). It was a flirting with danger moment that I haven't found in many other books. I like it when the dangerous alpha male is actually dangerous, not just someone who wears leather pants and a sword.
The hero was as Alpha male as I adore and the heroine was spunky, curious and brave, no wilting delicate flower here in spite of the life that she was destined to lead.
By the time the Hero and Heroine finally do the deed I was a worn out mess, so ready for them to commit to each other and to a life, somehow free of the chip that was controlling their destinies that when it happened I was a little shocked by how it came about.
The ending wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but it hasn't stopped me from rereading this sexy, romantic book again and again.

Krisa Elyison, having just graduated from finishing school, is
traveling to meet her
husband-to-be, Lord Radisson. Krisa, however, yearns for more before
she begins her new life of obedience. Sneaking out of her quarters
late that night, Krisa quietly creeps into the ship's hold to study
HIM. She can't help it, he intrigues her like no one ever has and she
desires to learn more about him. The man chained to the wall in the
hold calls to her and asks her to remove his blindfold. Against her
better judgment, Krisa does as he asks and is amazed at what she finds.
Kurt Teague was born a slave but refuses to die as one. Escaping from
capture again and again, he figures this time is no different and plots
his escape. What Teague doesn't count on is the scent of an aroused
female in the hold where he is chained to the wall. Assuring the
female that he won't hurt her, she removes his blindfold. What Teague
sees intrigues and arouses him, for Krisa is beautiful. There is just
one problem. Teague is still chained to the wall and Krisa is still
traveling to meet the man who is to be her husband.
Their situation changes in the blink of an eye. Krisa finds herself
abruptly awakened from a sound sleep and goes to investigate. What she
finds is an angry captain, an escaped criminal, and a wrecked ship.
Teague and Krisa make their way from the wreckage, but are still in
danger. A ferocious animal is stalking them and both know it is only a
matter of time before Lord Radisson finds her.
Planet X held me riveted the entire time I read this book. Evangeline
Anderson has woven a wonderful tale of one woman's journey into
thinking for herself and a man's journey into thinking for someone
other than himself. Teague grew up hard, fights hard, and loves hard;
but for Krisa, he was willing to be patient, and that made me love him
instantly. Krisa, having been raised to always be obedient, had a
harder time coming to grips with her feelings, but in the end, love
prevailed and I was satisfied.
Erotic science fiction is not usually my genre of choice to read, but I
made an exception when I saw that Evangeline Anderson wrote Planet X,
and I am glad that I did. Not overly loaded with hard to understand
science fiction vocabulary and situations, the storyline wove its way
to my heart and settled there. It kept me on the edge of my seat, made
me laugh, and made me cry. Planet X is a sinfully naughty, wonderfully
enjoyable read!

What a wonderful story of two strong willed beings who seem to be as different as night and day. One pure as fresh snow the other dirtied by the crimes he'd committed. They come to understand how alike they truly are. Hot sexual tension and build up. Then BAM ?. Fireworks. Loved both characters & the thrilling plot!

Sold by her parents to Briar Rose Finishing Academy when she was a young girl, Krisa Elyison has lived most of her life at the school, training to be a proper wife to the man who bought her contract from the school. Finally come of age to wed her fiancée, she finds herself drawn to the strange captive being held in the cargo hold.
They don't come much more dangerous than Teague. When the ship transporting Krisa and Teague crash lands on Planet X, Teague promises Krisa he will see her to safety. But Krisa soon finds she never feels safer than when she is in Teague's arms - or in more danger!
After reading Evangeline Anderson's novel Planet X, I have made it a goal to read all of her work. While I have read and thoroughly enjoyed a few of her other books prior to this one, Planet X is the book that earned her a spot on my automatic buy list.
Being a Science Fiction fan, and especially fond of space themed stories, I was drawn to this book, and found I was not disappointed! Interestingly enough, however, the futuristic society is blended with a primitive society on Planet X, which somehow makes the story easier to identify with - a dichotomy, to be sure, since neither society in the story matches the contemporary world we live in.
Now on to the REALLY important stuff: the romance! Teague is absolutely the epitome of the misunderstood bad boy who does what he has to do to survive and protect those he loves, and yet is more tender and caring than the most sensitive `good guy' you've ever met. He easily wins both the readers' hearts and Krisa's as well by the way he takes care of her.
Krisa's character could easily be seen as an allegory for the way society presents an image of how women should look and behave. Her struggle to overcome what is essentially programming and find who she really is, fulfilling her hopes and desires is something that resonated with me, and I would wager many other women will find a piece of themselves in Krisa's personality.
Planet X does bring a happy ending to the lovers, albeit not quite in the way you would typically expect - a fact which made me enjoy the Anderson's story all the more.

but for Krisa, he was willing to be patient, and that made me love him

If you can handle a (believably) naive and fairly helpless heroine, an over-the-top (and very sexy) he-man "Feral" hero, a predictable (but solid) plot, an entire book told only from the heroine's perspective (though not, thank goodness, first person), a large handful of typos, AND you love great sci-fi world building with steamy (though frustrating--since they don't get together until late in the book) love scenes, this one will be a winner for you. The story was so fun I was willing to forgive minor irritations.

As always I love books by Evangeline Anderson. With this book I really like the fact that the main characters are from such different worlds. They are both so determined and want want love but are afraid to let their guards down because of the past amd the future, but it takes Teague showing that it is sometimes ok to give in and be yourself not who other people expect or want you to be.

This was an ok book, Romancing the Stone meets Pitch Black, written by EA. I've read it once, I don't think I will be reading it again, EA writes much better stories than this now. I thought both characters were nice and annoying in parts, an interesting combination, without being too memorable. What was memorable were the similiarities to the movies I mentioned, but the book was paced too slow, almost as slow as a historical romance, to enjoy.

A new book by Evangeline Anderson. Watch out for that author. She writes good stories and twists them with sexy scenes. Really great!
Here we have a Feral hero and a nice good girl as the heroine who meets her wild side. Stranded together on Planet X the both stumble through the brushes and try to get away from the reptiles living there.
Great story!

Teague is a wanted man; he's a killer, a thief, and overall bad guy......according to the man who is transporting him to prison.
Krisa was raised at a school were the girls are bred to be the perfect wives. That is their only purpose. They always act like ladies and even have a Certificate of Virginity. Krisa was bought at a young age but had to finish her schooling. Now she is on her way to her soon to be husband.
The ship crashes and Krisa needs Teague to help keep her alive on this dangerous planet. The locals have strange customs that Krisa must participate in while trying not to fall for Teague. Her life is mapped out for her and if she can't afford to fall in love with a wanted man.
I really loved how dominant Teague was while protecting the naïve Krisa. He also had a dry sense of humor that make me laugh out loud. The story kept me captivated and I couldn't put it down. I really hope to read more about these characters in future books. The only thing you may find annoying is Krisa's indecisiveness when it comes to following her heart. However, she was raised to be a wife to a certain man and that's all she knows. It's understandable for her to be uncertain of the future if she gives that up. I was almost mad at the ending but it turned out great. Phenomenal job Evangeline Anderson!!!!
