I know that book number three is still considered the beginning of a long and wonderful series but the books join together so seamlessly it feels as if each book is only a chapter in the bigger book of Kindred life. So far this author has brought out the full spectrum of my emotions so that I feel everything that the characters feel. I laughed and cried. I look forward th book four!

I can't say enough great things about this author. Her stories are well written, interesting, she takes time to develop her characters and leaves you wanting the next story. Each book could be read as a stand alone but start at book 1 and you'll be glad you did. I love the fact the author is building a network of stories and each build on the others. I'm eagerly awaiting the next!.

I waited patiently for this 3rd book in the Kindred series and was NOT disappointed!! I've never read a true threesome book before and wasn't sure how I would feel about it. I'm all about the one-on-one type of relationship, but Evangeline did an awesome job and I didn't feel uncomfortable reading the love scenes. I laughed, I cried...it was a really great story. Now I must patiently await the release of the 4th book. I've been wanting Xairn to have his own story and happy ending...can't wait!!

I agree with many reviewers regarding the plot being a repetition of the others and not done quite as well. There were some 'new' adventures, but they seemed a little fake, just plot devices to get the people into a different setting. I also dislike the repetitive inner dialogue in this book. It gets really old after awhile and you just want to say "we know that already". I kind of liked the characters and the idea of the two opposite men balancing each other. There was a lot of repetition, not only in their inner dialogue, but in the actual conversations with other people. Something happens and they experience it, talking it out at the time, then they go back to their friends and talk it out again and then they each hash out the after-affects in their inner dialogue with themselves. Once an incident has been described, just summarize for the other characters, books aren't real life where we do actually talk about stuff over and over.... It's just time consuming and boring. About halfway through I started skipping some of those conversations. I like the series, don't want to be overly critical, a good editor would probably recommend deleting some of the extra material.
Regarding these books not being stand alone: They were obviously written to be read in order and have a lot of material in each one that sets up the next in line...a whole storyline is developed as a side plot, getting you really involved so you'll buy the next book. No objections here, but there is plenty of repeating the foundations and back story of the whole line that if you objected to something in a book (like the ménage aspect of this one), you could probably skip it and still be okay with the other stories. Very few grammatical and spelling errors and the world the author has built seems full and interesting. For erotica, the author writes well. She has a nice voice that's pleasant to read and I will certainly read more of her work.

She has quite the vivid imagination and very colorful well written characters. The only thing I would suggest is to change up some of the dialogue in the erotic scenes. After awhile it all starts to sound the same. Other than that I highly recommend her kindred books!

Love, love, love The Kindred series!!! Evangeline is an amazing author with an incredible imagination and way of bringing her story to life. She's really thought out the worlds and characters where you feel like they could possibly exist.....in another reality, of course. LOL I love how she includes a dictionary at the end each story. I can't wait to continue the series!!

The heroine, Kat, is a cross between Alice Gramden and Ethel Merman on steroids; she's a bit much. The dialogue is repetitive, we know everyone's motivations, but chapter after chapter its repeated over and over again in excruciating detail; it's a waste of at least one-third of the book going over the same territory repeatedly. If all the repetition had been eliminated it would have been a much better read.
I'm beginning the next book in the series "Found" (because I liked the two previous books before this one), and of course "Sought's" story is already being retold in "Found", so I can honestly recommend that "Sought" be skipped altogether because you'll get the just of it anyway in "Found."
Regarding the menage e trios (meh), it was actually boring and anti-climatic, pardon the pun.
Also, I'd like to note that this entire Kindred series is a rip-off of Jaid Black's Trek Mi Q'an series which is the best books of this type I have ever read, this Kindred series doesn't compare, Jaid Black's books are in a category by themselves they are excellent!
I suggest reading Jaid Black's Trek Mi Q'an series instead of this, you won't be sorry.

1. Very enjoyable read, recommended. Looking forward to the next installment in the series.
2. Kat is less whiny than Liv and Sophie and more likeable, but Ms. Anderson does still seem to favor a fool as her leading lady. Or maybe the character development piece is a bit of a creative stretch, because I also thought Lock was under-written.
3. Sometimes felt the momentum was lost and pacing hurt by cutting back and forth -- to re-introduce Liv and Sophie, or (unusual for this author) to force in a little humor, or to give bits of backstory. It's a series. The books don't stand alone. Period.
4. Glad to see Xairn is being fleshed out and his inner conflicts will be explored. Hope he gets the time and attention he deserves -- he could become a great antihero-hero, a dom battling his learned/genetic sadistic streak.
5. Ms. Anderson, I really enjoy reading your books, but dear God, if you plan to self-publish please get thee to a competent editor or find a friend who knows real English, not webglish, to do a final read. The many grammatical errors (you're instead of your, site instead of sight, etc. etc.) are unacceptable in a finished novel.

I love the Kindred bride series. It always become a really good read. In this one I must say the constant neglect of Kat for the twins was a bit annoying and the fact that like a magic trick she accept them and accused Deep of not loving her was like 'seriously woman'. Anyway the Xairin and Laren parts were cute. Looking forward for the next one:

I love this story line with the characters. Its very entertaining and keeps you moving and reading. You can read it on its own but it may be better to read in order to follow the story line. I didn't know if I would like this author but if you like stories that really get into relationships than you will like the book.

The third installment in the Brides of the Kindred series definitely does not disappoint. It immediately picks up where Hunted left off. It was so exciting, adventurous, sexy, and extremely hot. I so did not want it to end, and could not put my Kindle down. I absolutely LOVE this series. Can't wait for the next one!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This author has a very vivid imagination and keeps the reader's imagination and interest completely occupied. It is very difficult to put her books down without finishing them, no matter what time of night it is when you complete the books.

Reviews are a tricky thing. It's people's opinions and we all think differently. Most people gave this book a stellar review while I hated it. I hated it so much, I skimmed through most of it. It was like trying to swallow peanut butter without a liquid chaser; so so very hard to do. I don't think I've ever given a book a single star rating but I had a lot of issues with it and hardly any pluses.
The main chick (I don't remember her name), was forgettable. She was whiny, and so very annoying. I couldn't stand her. Maybe that was the author's intent but I for one have to like the main characters some in order to give the book a shot. She was a healthy woman with body issues and continually whined about having to mate with the twins, Deep and Locke. She didn't like them at all in the beginning when Locke, the nicer of the twins was nothing but kind to her. Deep was crass and very blunt in the way he spoke to her which she had issue with.
I don't mind the menage going on but it was so far out there I couldn't accept any of it. I've read both books in the Soul-Linked Saga where there is one woman with multiple partners at once and that author told the story beautifully. Even though it was all fiction, it was believable and well written. This story was a bunch of this and that with some sexual encounters tossed in. Just awful.
I will say, it may be necessary to read the first two books to understand the plot and the world better which I did not do. But a book should absolutely be able to stand on it's on even if it's in a series.
The editing job was poor as well. In the end, I did not finish it and I asked the store for my money back which they refunded immediately.

Wow, this was an emotional rollercoaster I must say. In parts of the book I felt happiness, saddness, frusteration; you name the emotion and I probably felt it.
The sexual tension in this book was WAY more pronounced in Kat, Lock and Deep's story.
There are 2 stories going on in this book. We are introduced to Lauren who is captured by the Scorge and finds a hero in the process. The next book in the series will bring us closer to Lauren and her Warrior.
There is also some talk that Nadia who was introduced to us in "Hunted" (Sophie's story) will make an appearance and there may be a love interest brewing there with an unnamed Blood Kindred Warrior (her fave!).
Anyways, If you want to laugh, cry and punch a wall, read this story. It was definately worth the pain!

This is a great storyline, it has such wonderful potential, but the heroine is once again annoying. I want to smack her. All of them are but the story is done well enough that I keep buying the next book.

Evangeline Anderson doesn't hold back in combining science fiction with erotic romance. Warning, this is explicit and not appropriate for anyone under 18, but truly enjoyable for those of us who like to combine adventure, romance, erotic, and science fiction

Sci-Fi and Erotica make love in this fantastic series. I normally download books that are free on the store, but Evangeline managed to ensnare me. I want to pay her to read the series. Her writing is fantastic!

Better than book 1, but not quite (but almost) as good as book 2 of the series. Would have liked it better if the much awaited for final bonding scene was expanded just a little bit more. The search and find aspect of the event took a little away from the scene.

I love the author's Brides of the Kindred series. I was looking for a great read and was glad that the e-book
finally came out. This book is good, but I really enjoyed the second book better. I most definitely can't wait for the next book.

This series just keeps getting better and better. This book had me laughing and getting teary eyed. I love Evangeline's writing style and can't wait for the final installment in this series. The book is a page turner from the very beginning. If you loved the others (Hunted and Claimed) this is not to be missed definitely! Keep up the good work Evangeline!

I really liked that the heroine is plus-sized and that her men like her that way. There could have been more explanation of the dark vs. light twin thing, but over all I thought the book was imaginative and interesting.
