Wow!!....just Wow!!

Yet another good read on the Brides of The Kindred Series! I don't know how Evangeline Anderson does it every time; she never seems to run out of story lines for The Kindred and The story is, yet again, well written, beautiful character development and a gripping story line! I love this series and Evangeline is a favorite author. I would recommend this story to everyone.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review no minority compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own what that being said. This novella is shorter than I'm used to for a Kindred story but just the same I enjoyed it. I felt like this was a sweeter side of the kindred and found the whole idea of kindred giant fascinating. Overall enjoyable and entertaining read with some suspense, action, and of course steamy romance. I would've like to see more actions moments also maybe we can get a future story of giant kindred and the previous kindred together that will definitely be a epic read.

An enjoyable addition to the Kindred Series. We have an interesting change in that these Kindred warriors are Giants. That's right, 9 foot tall warriors. They have had to leave their world in search of mates as there are no more females. On the other side is a princess ruling a world where all the males have been lost to plague. Can these two characters/worlds be brought together? You will have to read to find out. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I enjoyed this sweeter story in Evangeline Andersen's Kindred world. The plot and storyline is sweeter than in some of her other books but just as enjoyable. Princess Alanah is the ruler of an all female kingdom. The males have all died from a plaque. Bram is in charge of a race of giant kindred whose race has few females. Together they save each other and their people.

Loved the dynamic between Bram and Alanah. I've read all of the Kindred Brides series and love how this makes me reminisce about the first books in the series with the claiming period. I love discovering all the new kindred worlds. I hope we see more books with the Jor’gen Kindred especially Jenla and Ren's story. Can't wait for what evangeline has for us next!

Another great read. A quick read. The princess finds love. The commander finds his mate. The Princes leads a hard life, caring for her people and make sure everyone works to get their share of the food. The story is set in a rugged time with no creature comforts. A witchy witch. And then whisked to the future.

This was like Sex Education 101 but from the Kindred perspective. Bram indoctrinates Alanah into the Kindred's culture of mating sex called the claiming period which usually lasts for 4 weeks but because of a natural disaster threatening her world this so-called claiming is abbreviated to just 4 days. I just couldn't get into this one at all; not one of her better stories. For the ARC I received from Ms. Anderson through Booksprout I am giving an honest and voluntary opinion of the story.

I've been reading Evangeline and the Kindred Brides series for ages. I just love all the new worlds and Kindred and technology. I love the action and romance and steamy hot scenes. These books are amazing and I, for one, am terribly happy I stumbled upon them! Keep writing our Kindred stories EA and we'll keep happily devouring them!!! <3

As always "Brides of the Kindred" stories just keep getting better and better. If in fact this book is the start of a new series I know I will love it. The idea of the giants being a branch off of the original Kindred just makes the storyline more interesting. It's going to be fun reading about all these characters from this book.

This was a entertaining and interesting novel. It shows that the Kindred males travelled to different worlds to find mates due to the fact they no longer have females among them. They dream share which leads them to the right planet. It was interesting to see how they were to approach them.

Great world building with a very sympathetic princess who is eyeballs deep in trouble just trying to stay alive.
Bram her hero is a big fella and is almost too good to be true.
Believe me the princess has some explaining to do.

Interesting take on kindred tale. Kindred with females and a land that lost their males due to illness. Match made with some bumps along with way. Of course there was lots of getting to know you sex. Hot sex.

Alanah is ruler of her world. When her father the king fell to illness as did all males on her planet she worked her hardest to set an example in all the work that must now be done by women and to rule with fairness. She dreams of a large man in uniform.
Jor’gen Kindred warriors are headed to Alanah’s planet. Their sect split off from the other Kindred’s, but they were warned that only males would be born and eventually they would “die out”. Bram, their leader, has been dream sharing with Alanah the past six months and has discovered a dire threat to her planet. He must woo his match in a very short time to possibly save both their kind.
An entertaining glimpse into two worlds; one where all is one by hand, and one with advanced technology. A unique concept of finding your “dream man”.

Alanah is the ruler of her people even though she doesn't want to be. She works harder than anyone else and she isn't appreciated. Alanah has been dream sharing with Bram. He is a Jor'gen Kindred who comes wanting to join his men with her females but there are obstacles to overcome. The Kindred are giants and their alien technology is so advanced it looks like magic to Alanah's people. This is a great read. It grabs you from the beginning. It pulls you in until the end and leaves you wanting more. I can't wait to read the next book.

This was a very different Kindred tale. A long ago race of Kindred that left for other worlds. Giants that tower over females on any other planet. They need women and this very old planet with no technology is full of women with no men. Can this work for them with at least a metre or more height difference.
Evangeline is a master storyteller, her men make you sigh...are there really any out there like that?
A wonderful fantasy romance that swept me away.

Beautifully told Kindred Tales about following where your dreams lead.
Loved this branch of the Kindred that are taller but with the same mind set towards women.
Alanah's world is harsh and their life there is full of hardships.
Understanding and trust must come sooner than expected or all can be at risk.
Exciting and romantically magnetic.

The Kindred stories are hot and graphic! I love them! The story of each of them finding their love in space, and bonding for life against such odds, is wonderful. Worth a read if that’s the kind of story that suits you. Recommend! I mean really - giants! ?

I look forward to every book she releases. This book keeps you turning the pages as you fall in love with the characters. The challenges they face, and over come, as the danger and excitement around them builds. Worthy of the Kindred name.

Well after looking at the pictures it was very had to conceive how that would work but Evagaline made the story come out right where it wasnt a bad read and i think alot of it had to do with the love Bram had for Alanah. Excuse the spelling its 3 am.

This is actually Brides of the Kindred 21.5, as it is a shorter story (or novella) than what is normally written. Bram and Alanah end up saving each other which is nice. The language in this one is a bit more simple in this one (or so it seems) which gives this story the feel of a naughty bedtime story for grown-ups HEA included for everyone, even the villain (sort of. You'll see.) If it was love she was after, she went about it the completely wrong way. Our main couple, with the help of divinity AND science together are able to overcome their obstacles with the power of love.
I'm not sure if this was also meant to be somewhat of a comedy or just straight sci-fi romance with the Thor-ish speak and the name for the giant's people. She came up with some interesting words for things that were still understandable from the context clues, much like Dr. Seuss and his crazy words for things. It would be nice if people were that simple and our problems could be solved so easily. If we all strive to be better people, instead if climbing each other to make ourselves seem bigger; maybe in the future, they will be. With the power of love, we help each other. That's what I got out of this. Maybe you'll see something else.
