Dark Melody (Dark Series)
Dark Melody (Dark Series)

Review:The story was a bit disappointing, because the focal point is sickness and pregnancy. I was hoping music, the Dark Troubadours and touring the country would be in the center of the story, but it is not so. The love-story is also a bit extreme, dramatic and predictable in the end. Read more

Dark Legend (Dark Series)
Dark Legend (Dark Series)

Review:I am usually not one for reading books that are in a series but something drew me to read several of the books in this series. I can say Dark Legend was one of my favorites in the series, probably my favorite as far as lifemates go. It was unique with how the male lead, Gabriel, wasnt like a typically possesive lifemate. He tried to understand his lifemate and let her come to terms with what was happpening in her own time and also allowed her to continue friendships with other males, although he... Read more

Night Game (GhostWalkers, Book 3)
Night Game (GhostWalkers, Book 3)

Review:This was the first book by Christine Feehan I have ever read and I bought it solely based on the reviews. It was barely an ok book and my biggest gripe with it was the 'french' that made me cringe every time it came up. It's not even 'France-french' as one reviewer put it-I speak France french having been born in a french-speaking country with french as my second language. Nobody I know-French or French speaking-uses the phrases Gator uses. The curses were ridiculous and the supposed endearments... Read more

Shadow Keeper (A Shadow Riders Novel)
Shadow Keeper (A Shadow Riders Novel)

Review:The fact that Sasha got ‘naughty’ with Giovanni so quickly was a letdown. A little bit of a chase is way more interesting, and I got so bored with almost whole chapters of sex scenes I found myself flipping through them, which made the book very short. Less is more Ms. Feehan if you want your books to actually have a plot. I found myself dreading G and S getting home because I knew it would be almost word for word a repeat of the previous multitude of crude sex scenes. I also wonder why her s... Read more

Samurai Game (A GhostWalker Novel)
Samurai Game (A GhostWalker Novel)

Review:The ghost walker series is very passionate and packed with the kind of action that every reader will enjoy, the reader will have a hard time putting these books down until they have read the entire series...action, sex, and romance....what's not to like. Read more

A Carpathian Novel (Carpathian Novels) - Dark Challenge
A Carpathian Novel (Carpathian Novels) - Dark Challenge

Review:The premise of the Carpathian books still makes all of these books worth reading. You're promised an angsty, hurting male and a lifemate to comfort away all his pain. I love the Carpathian books for that alone. This book does not fail to deliver on that. But the series does still suffer from some repetitive tendencies, particularly a few repetitive words over and over again. And the sexism in the books is enough to really annoy me.

This book brought in some refreshing differences from boo... Read more

Predatory Game (Ghostwalker Novel Book 6)
Predatory Game (Ghostwalker Novel Book 6)

Review:Another wonderful story about the Ghost Walkers. A few days before this book was released I re-read Shadow Game, Lily and Ry's story. I had fogotten how technical that book was and at times difficult to keep up with. This newest release had just enought technical information to keep it fun, intriguing and I wanted more. I found both Saber and Jess interesting and likeable. I highly recommend the entire series. Christine Feehan is a terrific story teller. If you haven't read her other book... Read more

Dark Curse (Carpathian Novel, A)
Dark Curse (Carpathian Novel, A)

Review:I agree that I have mixed feelings regarding this book. I didn't like the couple as much as I love some of the others I've met in this series. I've been reading it for a long time, however, and I am excited to see the series finally evolving. We are finally figuring out why things are so tough on the Carpathians. The vampire bad guys from the earlier books--who never could stand against the Carpathains are finally becoming a real challenge. In fact, the Carpathains are losing at the moment.... Read more

Burning Wild (A Leopard Novel)
Burning Wild (A Leopard Novel)

Review:I typically love Christine Feehan's writing and I was looking forward this Shapeshifter addition. I preordered it and was excited when it arrived. The story had lots of potential, the storyline itself was a good one, but it never grabbed me. I found the child abuse in the early part of the book disturbing (which it should be)and understood the need for it as a way of explaining the depth of emotional pain in the main male character. However the shapeshifter aspects of the story took a backse... Read more

Dark Legacy (Carpathian Novel, A)
Dark Legacy (Carpathian Novel, A)

Review:Very standard for this author. Having met a majority of the characters, they fell into their roles quickly and easily. I continue to be somewhat disappointed by the "bossiness" of the males, and the basic doormat actions of the females, ultimately. "Because I say so" seems to be the main reason the guys give - and the women accept this. No apparent amazement that the guy can make clothes out of nothing. But surprise that he manages to live despite being about killed. A few other things - but the... Read more
