The pursuit of love has never been so deadly. A killer seduced by the idea of love targets victims of an online poetry chatroom where after making an arrangement to meet, he wines and dines them, slipping potent and rare date-rape drugs into their drinks until all they feel is euphoria and desire. These unsuspecting romantics continue to be targeted by this anonymous killer. Coming in to stop this stri... Read more
Review:I was hooked on Eve Dallas since the 1st book....love everyone of them...liked that this was set out of her comfort zone of New York and into the demons of the past and present in Dallas.....it is time that the LT becomes a captain....and would like it to include Mavis, Charles and Somerset in the stories more than just peripheral characters..... Review:Generally, I love the "in death" series, because of Eve and Roarke. I liked this book, but I thought it was so sad when Eve was suspended from duty and had to turn her weapon and badge. But she did not give up. She is a strong woman and I love strong women, because they show real women that they can be just as strong, yet vulnerable. Read more
Review:The characters come to life in this series and you will feel like you are visiting with old friends every time you read the next book. Vivid descriptions so you actually feel like your watching a film rather than reading a book. I love love love it!! Read more
Review:I love the JD Rob in Death Series and could not wait for price to go down. My fault I didn't see that it wasn't paperback! But......That didn't stop me for a minute. The book was delivered in condition as promised and well within the time it was promised. I'd recommend buying used books from Amazon to everyone. You can't beat the price for new titles. Read more

Review:First, I have bought in consecutive order books 1-29. I have read every single on and love them! I just love how JD Robb brings the characters to life. I can almost picture the faces Eve makes when she is saying something sarcastic. I love how the relationships between Eve and Roarke are coming along as well! Now on to books 30-34!! Read more
Review:This is no. 3 in the 'In Death ' series. Having recently started the series, I find them absorbing and become totally at one with the story. 'Immortal' ties up Eve's past demons, weds the lustful Roarke, and gives an insight to Sommerset. The murders are inventive and the relationships are real. The sex is great too! I love them and am plowing through the books at a rapid rate. Great discovery. Read more
Review:I'd like to preface this review by saying I really do enjoy the In Death books - I'm rereading the series, having read all but the newest at least once. SPOILER WARNING: There are some spoilers, but probably nothing you won't see coming.
That said, I am noticing this time through the series, and in this book in particular, that she really relies on cliches and improbability a bit too much. The romance between Clarissa and Zeke does have a twist in the end, but wading through the cliched c... Read more
