Darkness Awakened (Order of the Blade)
Darkness Awakened (Order of the Blade)

Review:This book was a real shocker to me. I was looking threw the free romances and came across this book! It had me from the start. You really get into the characters of this book. I didn't think I'd like it but,I loved it! So much so I've read the whole series and can't wait until the next one comes out. And I have gotten other series from this author they are just as good. Eternal Kiss of Darkness
Eternal Kiss of Darkness

Review:Mencheres has not been one of my favorite characters through the Vampire Huntress Series, and knowing this has obviously made me reluctant to review this title. My foremost concern was that due to my bias I would not be able to review this title effectively. So, here is to one of many times that an incredible author has proven me entirely wrong. Frost takes this slightly shady character, and transforms him into a dedicated and companionate personality that will dissolve fans previous impressions... Read more

The Bite Before Christmas
The Bite Before Christmas

Review:In this book, there are two shorts. The first by Sands is fairly typical of her work. The plot is straightforward and the romance is cute. The second story is worth the price of admission. It's a short in Frost's Night Hintress series. Like the other Bones and Cat stories, it is fast paced, creative, and takes a few unexpected turns. If you have not read this series, this short will have you itching to start at the beginning. Read more

One Grave at a Time
One Grave at a Time

Review:Plot: Cat (newly turned vamp/ghost whisperer) and Bones, her husband (vamp extraordinaire) have been contacted and asked to stop a vicious ghost, who can take solid form once a year just to kill. The loving couple works together, with some help from some friends, to bring a serial killer to justice.

Positives: A vampire who temporarily has the ability to see and interact with ghosts was promising. Off hand, I don't remember reading a book where the supernatural/paranormal entities co-exis... Read more

Glass Sword (Red Queen)
Glass Sword (Red Queen)

Review:GLASS SWORD is an epic and thrilling and nail-biting and heartbreaking second installment in Victoria Aveyard’s Red Queen series. It takes readers on an action-filled and riveting journey with Mare Barrow and the Scarlet Guard as they attempt to find and save others like Mare who could be instrumental in their fight against the Silvers. With dangerous missions, deadly battles and lethal enemies awaiting them, this promises to be an intense, electrifying and unputdownable read.

Gaia's Secret (A Pandoran Novel, #1)
Gaia's Secret (A Pandoran Novel, #1)

Review:This story is fun, different, interesting; I love it. The world the author created is unlike others that I have read. The 'people' are real and easy to get to know. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes to step into a different world and the twists and turns in the story. Read more

Cruel Crown (Red Queen Novella)
Cruel Crown (Red Queen Novella)

Review:It's the print version of Queen Song and Steel Scars. I realized this several pages in.
Queen Song:
"There is nothing so terrible as a story untold." Not just writing motivation, but a quote that explains the reason for this story. The lack of world building could make comprehending this difficult for anyone who hasn't read Red Queen. It's a good story, an interesting one. Nice romance. In fact, if the rest of the series weren't aimed at the futuristic-urban-fantasy genre, this could proba... Read more

Queen Song (Red Queen Novella)
Queen Song (Red Queen Novella)

Review:“We are the same, she thought. Searching for something to keep us anchored, both alone in a crowded room.”

5 Stars easily!!! This book fascinated me. I loved Queen Coriane. I fell in love with her seamlessly. Coriane was a whisper but she didn’t use her powers for evil. Coriane was content to tinker with odds and ends and live her life. She wasn’t prepared for King Tiberas to come along and upturn her world. This is a beautiful, yet heartbreaking novella. It adds SO MUCH to the series. Read more

If I'm Found (If I Run Series)
If I'm Found (If I Run Series)

Review:Since the first book in the "If I Run" series didn't end, I bought this second book. Seriously, another non-ending story?! The plot just keeps rehashing the same events of the first book. Another fake ID, or two, more burner phones purchased. NOTHING NEW!! I give up. No more for me! Read more
