A Stephanie Plum Between the Numbers Novel (A Between the Numbers Novel Book 3)
A Stephanie Plum Between the Numbers Novel (A Between the Numbers Novel Book 3)

Review:Evanovich missed by a mile with this one. Sad, because I have enjoyed so many of her Stephanie Plum novels. There is very little plot, other than a drab grandma being kidnapped and returned O'Henry style. This is a pretty lame offering coming from a once skilled, gifted writer. Hope she perks up. No. 9) (Stephanie Plum Novels) - To the Nines (Stephanie Plum

Review:The gags are becoming more overused and the plots less engaging as we read more and more and more and more. Stephanie needs to learn some new wisecracks and her characters need some new idiosyncrasies if she is to survive. Read more

No. 11) (Stephanie Plum Novels) - Eleven on Top (Stephanie Plum

Review:Evanovich almost has her touch back. Certainly "One for the Money" is the best of this series by far, and the series has taken a decided downturn, with "Ten" being just awful in that Stephanie turned into a, well, something that Amazon probably won't allow me to say. I actually disliked her. Poor Ranger and Morelli!

Now Stephanie's back in fine form. Though the romantic subplot is STILL on hold (will things never change? What's the reason for this? Unchanging conditions = boring), hints a... Read more

New Corpse in Town (Secret Seal Isle Mysteries Book 1)
New Corpse in Town (Secret Seal Isle Mysteries Book 1)

Review:This is is a charming romantic mystery tale. Set in a small town an FBI agent who is laying low for awhile, contacts her former partner when a body shows up .

The sleuth's family is slightly odd, but that adds to their characters.

All in all, a good beginning to a new mystery series. Read more

Three to Get Deadly (Stephanie Plum - No. 3) (Stephanie Plum Novels)

Review:I order a lot from Amazon.com and have not had any issues in the past. However; I just started reading this book and got to page 168, then it skips to page 193. Pages 169 through 192 are not in the book! And now I have passed my "window of opportunity" to return it. Read more

A Stephanie Plum Holiday Novel (Stephanie Plum Novels)
A Stephanie Plum Holiday Novel (Stephanie Plum Novels)

Review:I was looking forward to romance but Janet Evanovich forgot that the best part of the story is always Stephanie with Morelli here and Ranger there. Lula and Grandma are entertaining, their antics funny, but Lula becoming a major character is less interesting. Stephanie doesn't follow her better instincts and makes the same mistakes over and over with fewer rescues by Morellli and Ranger. Disappointing --I would have liked more book for my money. No. 10) - A Stephanie Plum Novel - Ten Big Ones (Stephanie Plum

Review:I adore Stephanie Plum, the feisty, sassy, suma cum laud bond enforcement agent, (bounty hunter), from Trenton, NJ - the bane of every psycho criminal in the Garden State, and destroyer of at least 10 cars. I love Grandma Mazur, Stephanie's maternal grandmother, and a pistol-packin,' roller blading clotheshorse. The super sexy men in Steph's life, hot cop, live-in lover Joe Morelli, and "The Ranger," who is beyond description in a simple book review, are the best - as are all the other wacky ecc... Books 7-9 (Seven Up / Hard Eight / To the Nines) (Stephanie Plum Novels)

Review:Stephanie is every gals want to be. Once you finish "One for the Money" you are captivated. By the moment you are on 3 you are searching the web for a deal on all the others. Janet Evanowich knows how to grasp your curiosity. Each character has your attention. I finally got to the point I read a book a night. A few books the story line wasn't there for me but just the characters themselves were worth reading the book. Let's dream on for Stephanie. I do not know anyone who could put down any... Read more

No. 4) (Stephanie Plum Novels) - Four to Score (Stephanie Plum

Review:My CD collection of the original unabridged version read by the original narrators added a humorous good natured atmosphere to the listening experience. The new releases are flat. Not much interest in discerning between the characters is evident. Hardly worth replacing my collection. My memory will have to do. Read more

No. 6) (Stephanie Plum Novels) - Hot Six (Stephanie Plum

Review:Stephanie Plum has an unenviable task in HOT SIX, her sixth adventure. Ricardo Carlos Manoso--aka Ranger--is wanted for questioning in the murder of Homer Ramos, the son of international black-market arms dealer Alexander Ramos. Ranger's been caught on camera leaving the building where he had a meeting with Homer, right before the building explodes. Ranger, the mystery man with a never-ending supply of cash and cars and no known address, has also missed a recent court date...and Vinnie, Steph... Read more
