Review:Having a 13 year old catcher, this book really hit home. As a kid I don't remember my parents having to put out hundreds of dollars for my brothers to play baseball in a league that did not contribute to recreational or school ball. In fact, when I was approached recently by a "travel ball" recruiter, I told my dad the dollar amounts and travel cost requested and he said "What! That is a rip off! Review:It had potential, but the latter portion of the book read like a book report on psychosis. I'm honestly surprised this was published. Review:You probably need to read this book anyway. I actually knew I did, but wasn't sure what to do about them. This is what sets this book apart. Not only can you identify the type of Mom you have (or more than one type) and the issues and immaturity you may have, but you learn how to become "reparented" into adulthood. The emphasis is not the typical "parent bashing" you get from other books, but a balanced and sensitive approach to becoming a responsible adult. Read more
