Review:I finished An Uncomplicated Life in two days. I couldn't put it down. Jillian's journey parallels my son's journey in so many ways I was able to relate to. And Paul Daugherty's writing is engaging and flows so beautifully. I am thrilled to read of the adventures of adults with Down syndrome. I love the way Paul and his wife Kerry gave Jillian the freedom to make mistakes and learn from them. Many parents protect their children/adults with Down syndrome to their detriment.

Review:If you are familiar with the Ramsey family, this goes right along with the rest of their material. If you are not familiar with them, you need to be.

I'd recommend reading "The Total Money Makeover" first, as many of the concepts refered to in "Smart Money Smart Kids" can be found here.

Review:You probably need to read this book anyway. I actually knew I did, but wasn't sure what to do about them. This is what sets this book apart. Not only can you identify the type of Mom you have (or more than one type) and the issues and immaturity you may have, but you learn how to become "reparented" into adulthood.
