Review:I finished An Uncomplicated Life in two days. I couldn't put it down. Jillian's journey parallels my son's journey in so many ways I was able to relate to. And Paul Daugherty's writing is engaging and flows so beautifully. I am thrilled to read of the adventures of adults with Down syndrome. I love the way Paul and his wife Kerry gave Jillian the freedom to make mistakes and learn from them. Many parents protect their children/adults with Down syndrome to their detriment.
I love that you didn... Read more

Review:If you are familiar with the Ramsey family, this goes right along with the rest of their material. If you are not familiar with them, you need to be.
I'd recommend reading "The Total Money Makeover" first, as many of the concepts refered to in "Smart Money Smart Kids" can be found here.
This should be required reading for every American. Read more
Review:You probably need to read this book anyway. I actually knew I did, but wasn't sure what to do about them. This is what sets this book apart. Not only can you identify the type of Mom you have (or more than one type) and the issues and immaturity you may have, but you learn how to become "reparented" into adulthood. The emphasis is not the typical "parent bashing" you get from other books, but a balanced and sensitive approach to becoming a responsible adult. Read more
Review:There are some good points throughout the book, but it has a lot of parts where so much is written without really making any useful point. I was really looking forward to reading this book after watching her motivational talk on youtube. I couldn't recommend this book. Read more
Review:This story was exceptional, as I've come to expect from Tracie Peterson. The way she is able to twist several story lines into one major theme keeps the reader fully engaged. It's hard to put her books down, which is the types of stories I like best. Read more
Review:Very useful and insightful book for men and women alike. Explains a lot of why we do what we do, feel what we feel. If you are ready to inspect your own relationships and make changes to improve things, this book is for you. Read more
Review:If it wasn't for its horribly cheap paper quality, I'd have given a 4 or 5 star review based on its content. It's rough on my fingers every time I turn the page. It not only feels cheap, but also looks cheap. The same review applies for all of her other books, unfortunately - same cheap editor. Read more
Review:Great book! We started the routine from the book when my som was just 5 weeks old. He is now 9 weeks and has been sleeping in his own crib 7-10 hours a night! It's a great easy to read in a couple hours book! Read more
Review:THE TWELVE GIFTS OF BIRTH is a beautiful story for adults and children. My recent experience with buying books from different sellers on Amazon has been a little disconcerting. I bought several books sold as new recently from different buyers. Four books were inscribed by previous owners. When I buy a new book it should not have been a previous gift. I was reimbursed for the books. The current book I bought was also previously inscribed. I am complaining because none of the sellers said the book... Read more
