Review:The trilogy was just enough material to be introduced to and to love the characters and the setting. I would recommend these books anyone looking for a read that allows them to leave their surroundings and become part of this town and its people. Read more
Review:Enjoyable Classic Robyn Carr. Easy to follow stand-alone. Some violence, no drag-you-down drama.
Entertaining storyline of small town living pulling together for the greater good of all.
Believable characters with distinct personalities. Thought-provoking and humorous dialogue.
I will re-read this book and always look forward to works by this author. Read more
Review:Gabi Romano has taken to finding herself. After a traumatic event and leaving behind her career she's hell bent on finding someone that makes her feel good again. Ironically, Flynn Seagraves is on that same path. He's got a murky, and devastating path that he's running from and being high profile doesn't help matters. The hurt, and loss send these two running right into one another. However, they can only escape from reality for so long. After a blissful couple of weeks secrets are unearthed, ol... Read more

Review:It was ok to me the story took a little longer than expected to learn about each character history, which happened almost at the end of the book. By the time the book get good it was over, and the little preview I read for the next book don't really hold my interest, sorry didn't like it much. Read more
Review:Bravo! When I read the first one of this series I was a little took back that it ended the way it did, leaving me hanging. But oh so very worth it! From telling cowboy hot and sexy stories to the world of MMA she rocks it all!! Read more
Review:The Marketplace by Laura Antoniou is a book that's a departure for me. The first time I heard about The Marketplace or Laura was when I read at the former Ravenous Nights, now renamed, Between the Covers. Laura was there and read from one of the books in The Marketplace series. I was enthralled by Laura's reading and was told how The Marketplace is a book that has become a cult classic reading among those in the BDSM and GLBT reading community. I took a chance and decided to buy and read The Mar... Read more
Review:PLOT. Where is it? It's like Hamilton was searching for a direction for this series to go, couldn't come up with one so she decided to pick something easy like a RPIT (police/marshal) case to weave her sex scenes around. In the past I have liked the police/marshal books, especially with Edward and gang. Those actually felt like stories. This felt like filler. No depth. No interest.
WRITING. It felt less like a story and more being talk at or lectured.
SEX. All of these books... Read more
Review:There are 2 reasons I gave this book 3 stars when I wanted to give it 1. 1.) Jess is a great character. Despite such weak material and lame love interest, he was a fun character. 2.) The bonus chapter, which had nothing to do with the book, was the best part.
The DH series was my first PNR. I have remained loyal and overlooked certain writing weaknesses because the characterizations and story made up for especially the repetitiveness. But the last two DH books, Bad Moon Rising and Retribu... Read more
