The Haunting of Ashburn House
The Haunting of Ashburn House

Review:I read this straight through, could not put it down. The story was amazing, the characters very real and the mood wonderfully spooky. Can't wait to read more by this author! You won't regret purchasing this book. Read more

Craven Manor
Craven Manor

Review:An enjoyable novel with a creepy atmosphere and believable characters. Only critique is the implausibility of the historical timeline - the author is Australian and I get the overall impression that the story is supposed to be set there, yet the family’s and manor house’s history don’t sync with the fact that NSW only saw European immigrants arrive in 1788, and life was very much frontier-like for the next few decades. There was never any explanation as to how a grande British manor house and ... Read more

A Haunting: The Horror on Rue Street
A Haunting: The Horror on Rue Street

Review:When I purchased the Kindle edition of this book I never expected it to be the book it was.
Firstly the book is creepy and makes you want to run around your own house and turn all the lights on.
Secondly the book, despite its creepy factor, manages to be such a gripping story that you can't put it down (at least I couldn't).
I would definitely recommend this book to any paranormal story lovers. My only gripe however was i thought the book was too short and the ending a bit rushed and su... Read more

The Broken Girls
The Broken Girls

Review:In 1950, Idlewild Hall is the place for girls that no one wants. It is home to troublemakers, the outspoken, and illegitimate girls. In the small town, the boarding school is rumored to be haunted and when one of the young boarders suddenly mysteriously disappears nothing will be the same again.

In 2014, it has been twenty years since journalist Fiona Sheridan's older sister's death, but Fiona is having a hard time letting it go. She makes frequent trips to the overgrown fields where the ... Read more

Megan's Mark: A Novel of the Breeds
Megan's Mark: A Novel of the Breeds

Review:This book made me laugh. I loved the characters. It was fun to read and very refreshing. The reason it lost half a star was because they talk too much in the bedroom. Seriously, if a guy asked/told me if something was sexy WHILE things were happening (as in not teasing or complimenting, but "yeah, that's sexy baby, keep doing that"), it would totally throw me off. And they keep using that over and over and over. Everything else was fine. Just that one word kept ruining otherwise perfectly good s... Read more

The Core (The Demon Cycle, Book 5)
The Core (The Demon Cycle, Book 5)

Review:Brett ties up all the loose ends. I finished feeling satisfied. There is some bizarreness at the start that feels more like social commentary than really integral to the story but it didn't really detract from the arc, so whatever. Read more

Grave Mistake (Codex Blair Book 1)
Grave Mistake (Codex Blair Book 1)

Review:Great story, well written. It gives the feel of Dresden Files, only starting from when Blair discovers she has power. You get to see her character grow, which you don't always find in stories. Blair has trouble fitting in and freely admits it. Her determination to find out who she is pulls you into the story. The people she interacts with are portrayed well. I love her best friend and the demon. Can't wait to see the next book. Read more

Agent in Place (Gray Man Book 7)
Agent in Place (Gray Man Book 7)

Review:This was signature Gray Man stuff. Great plot, great action with enough unexpected events to keep me in suspense as Mark Greaney wove his tale. I would recommend this to Gray Man fans or American Assassin fans or readers of similar books in this spy genre. Read more
