Review:The first three Isaac Bell books were terrific, lots of detail, colorful side stories. Amazing how Cussler has managed to turn this series completely mediocre, a real shame. In quality, The Race was about a third of the book of any of the first three, The Thief is about a fourth. Double spaced text, 1 3/4" bottom margin per page, if they had single spaced the text and used more of each page, this could have been a 120 page short story and CC could have saved a LOT of paper!! Since CC thinks ... Read more

Review:I enjoyed the story, just would of liked more suspense. Howie went frowned g a young boy to a grown man in a blink of a eye, life certainly had more interesting things and how he dealt with them. Including his fear of the unknown, and evil following him. Read more

Review:You know, "classics" often are . . . well . . . boring. It must be admitted. But the Three Musketeers is actually quite good.. I was surprised. When I was done I was sorry it was over. I will very likely - gasp - read it again someday, and undoubtedly will buy the mobi collection of Dumas' works for my Kindle Read more
Review:The Impossible Fortress has been generating a lot of buzz since last summer when the review copies came out, and rightfully so. It’s hard to believe this is a debut novel, because it’s smoothly designed and hugely original. It’s written with a deftly woven plot that never misses a step; engaging characters that are nearly corporeal, they are so well sculpted; and an utterly captivating voice that unspools the narrative. Best of all, it’s hilarious! I thank Net Galley and Simon and Schuster for m... Read more
Review:I love the way all the characters are so individualized. I also love how all the characters point if view are displayed and how all the books relate to one another! Pure genius! I can't wait for Dallas & Ax story, though I think I want more of Flick and the MC story. I am excited to see how all the characters are going to come together. Read more
Review:So then why isnt it four stars? EDITING, Terry needs to get a new editor badly. There were typos everywhere such a yuo instead of you, some sentences even stopped halfway through. However the worst example is at a certain point in a book a man named Kaviel dies (not important) then a few pages later he is said to be attending a meeting of the soldiers, hmm how does that work? It then again says hes dead a few pages after that., its rediculous. How was this missed?!
Now for the rest, if yo... Read more
Review:While not a true Kingsolver fan, I am rapidly becomming one! After reading Poisonwood Bible and enjoying it, I read this and absolutely loved it. What I didn't know about ecology, coyotes and moths could fill volumes. I really enjoyed the characters and their interwoven stories and learned so much about the delicate balance of nature. I would recommend this book to anyone without hesitation. It was absolutely wonderful. Read more
