Three Dark Crowns
Three Dark Crowns

Review:I almost dismissed this book but i kept going. I kept trying to read it and somewhere around halfway things got interesting. I mean interesting enough for me to put off dinner and finish reading. I predict that while this book felt bogged down in so much information and details that the second book is going to blow minds. Just the way this one ended, yes it was a cliffhanger, the second one is VERY anticipated for me.

So you have triplets who are borne of one previous queen of great magic... Read more

The Ruby Circle: A Bloodlines Novel
The Ruby Circle: A Bloodlines Novel

Review:I loved how they revisited other characters. There was a nice and appropriate end to the series for all. Great series! Would love for them to continue with the VA books into movies and then to Bloodlines. Very entertaining and worth continuing! Read more

The Cruel Prince (The Folk of the Air)
The Cruel Prince (The Folk of the Air)

Review:TRIGGER WARNING:Graphic Bullying

Predictable
This story was nothing unique, in my opinion. I found much of the plotline to be predictable and common for this type of story and the things the main character, Jude, did were very typical for that of a young female protagonist in this scenario. There were obvious items that were designed to be ‘plot twists,’ but they were really easy to pick up on if you were paying any attention.

Main Character
Jude, the main character, was real... Read more

The Raven Series 1: White Raven
The Raven Series 1: White Raven

Review:The world building was great (though I wish the accents were explained) and the plot was intriguing and original. I'm only taking two points off because the constant one liners and vulgar exclamations felt forced and tired after the second chapter or so, and also there were a ton of mistakes. Misspellings, wrong words (rouse instead of ruse???). I don't know if Weil has no editor or if the editor is horrible...but I hope this issue gets fixed before she publishes the sequel. Read more

The Second Novel by Zoella (Girl Online Book) - Girl Online

Finding Kyler (The Kennedy Boys Book 1)
Finding Kyler (The Kennedy Boys Book 1)

Review:I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Siobhan had me hooked from the very beginning and read nearly half of this book sitting at work during my shift. I was completely addicted to the writing and this angst driven story. This was roller coaster ride I never wanted to end, scared at every turn, and reeling when it was all over. There were so many twist and turns I'm still having a hard time dealing. I loved every minute reading this book and I need time to recuperate from that ending... Read more

Let It Snow: Three Holiday Romances
Let It Snow: Three Holiday Romances

Review:This book was chosen for our book club, because of the holidays we wanted something light! Without knowing that the authors write for young adults. I did complete the book, to see how all three stories connected. They were cute stories, definitely aimed at the younger audience. Read more
