Review:If you liked Dean Koontz's INTENSITY, you'll love this book which contains many of the same elements including a calculating psychotic killer, and a victim who struggles against insurmountable obstacles .... in this case to rescue her baby from a madwoman. I can't recommend this book highly enough. It is one of the best in this genre, and the characters are drawn superbly. It's a real page turner. I've always judged a thriller by its ability to surprise me at every next page, and this one ... Read more
Review:In fifteen-year-old Will’s neighbourhood, there are certain rules that must be followed when a family member is murdered: no crying, no snitching, and get revenge. These rules were taught to him by his brother, Shawn, who was taught by his uncle, who was taught by his brother, Will's father and so on back to long before Will was born. And they have all obeyed the rules. Now, Shawn has been murdered and it is Will’s turn. He finds his brother’s gun and, with it tucked into his waistband, he head... Read more

Genre: Contemporary Fiction

Star Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars
I borrowed this book from my local library and reviewed it.
I've heard many good things about Eliza and Her Monsters, and it's been sitting in my library stack for a while. When I was finally able to bump it up to the top of my stack, I was so stoked. (I'm waiting on It to come in from the library, per my best... Read more
Review:I purchased this book last week, and I finally started reading it yesterday. I cannot put it down! The author tells the story so vividly you can't help but to feel what the main character is going through. This book is well written and it flows together nicely. If you think this book and or story is too dark for you to read, please reconsider. It's sooo much more than that. I'm gonna stop babbling now and go finish it. Once again, awesome book! Read more
Review:I have so many conflicting feelings about this book, and I find myself more and more indecisive the more distance I have from it.
I LOVED the first third or so. It was everything I dreamed. Dimple and Rishi are ADORBS and their friction at the beginning reminded me of "Bride and Prejudice" in all the right ways. I was locked in and ready for a fun, brimming battle of attraction and wit, simmering up to a romantic ending. But... that wasn't actually the way it went?
Some things sadl... Read more
Review:Although it might seem like a petty girly book, it actually is a really good book that shows what girls go through with young love. I went through a lot of these same emotions when I was younger and thought I was in love. Great books for parents of teenagers. Read more
Review:Deenie is a great character. Once i started to read it I didnt stop. As it turns out I read the book in 3 hours srait!! IT is a cliffhangerish book, but not quite. At the end of every chapter you want to know what is going to turn out with the girl Deenie. This is a strong and sensual book. It is just like you are thinking what Deenie is thinking because you can feel what she is going through. I have read it so many times you wouldnt believe. I reccomend this book to people who cant ge... Read more
Review:So thankful she stayed true to her characters in many trilogies book three is horrible filled with unnecessary plot twist. But they way she invited the new characters was seamless and truly integrated. Love the fact that Isis was able to get her power back and still manages to get the man, love the way Jack was able to release his demons and accept what his heart truly felt.
Beautiful book, series, and writing filled with true emotions. Read more
