While It Lasts (Sea Breeze)
While It Lasts (Sea Breeze)

Review:So I started off crying when I started reading this book and then I ended crying reading this book! Abbi Glines has to be one of the greatest writers ever! Her book elicits so much emotions from me it's awesome. We first meet resident slutty bad boy in Because of Low. If y'all were like me then u liked him only because he treated our Low good. But his unhealthy attachment to whiskey and slutty girls wasn't all that appealing! Well While it Last made Cage York unbelievable! While he is still a bi... Read more

The Vincent Brothers
The Vincent Brothers

Review:I loved the first Vincent Brothers book and what went on between Beau and Ashton, but this book blew it off the charts. This love battle between Saywer and Lana was epic and very interesting. The fights and sad scenes brought the book together and though they were sad they made this book complete. I would recommend this book to everyone and if you have not read the series then READ IT!!! I better stop now or I will write reason after reason as why to read this book and I don't want to give to ... Read more

The Miseducation of Cameron Post
The Miseducation of Cameron Post

Review:Really enjoyed this book. It was banned by some school districts in my state, which is why my book club decided to read it. It was well written and I cared about the main character a great deal as I read her story. Read more

Annie on My Mind
Annie on My Mind

Review:Annie on My Mind is the quintessential story of two young women exploring love for the first time. It is the reminiscience of Liza, now a freshman in college, about her relationship to Annie during the previous year. First published in 1982, the story aided the cultural validation of lesbian love. Thsi 25th edition includes an interview with the author which complements the story. Annie on My Mind is included on school reading lists, and usually cannot be found on the library's shelves. What rea... Read more

Dragon School: The Dark Prince
Dragon School: The Dark Prince

Review:The adventure of Amel and Raolcan continues and this was the most frustrating book of the first four. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to be able to continue immediately.
Firstly, Amel faces incredible amount of unfairness in this book, even from the people who have showed her kindness previously. It is infuriating to see how people change so easily and disregard Amel and what she has to say. She is nothing if not persistent, honourable and honest. She is also by far the bravest and strongest ... Read more

The Outlaw: Origins
The Outlaw: Origins

Review:This could have been an excellent book-- if not for the author's complete failure to write anything remotely like a realistic version of a teen from an affluent-to-rich family, living in the second decade of the twenty-first century.

I don't know what bothered me more; a high school full of kids who don't swear, or a high school full of virginal teenagers, up to and through seniors. The one character who is shown as having an active in sex? He's someone you're supposed to dislike. That... Read more

The Eye of Minds (The Mortality Doctrine - Book One)
The Eye of Minds (The Mortality Doctrine - Book One)

Review:This book is a great technical thriller and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout its entirety! I loved how the author used a virtual reality world that was intertwined with reality somewhat to change up the plotline. Read more

Finding Audrey
Finding Audrey

Review:This was a significant departure from Kinsella's usual work, and I didn't love it. The overall plot, pace, and characters were okay, but I had some significant complaints as I read. Nothing irritates me more than a book that plays up a dramatic event but never actually says what happened. Kinsella's understanding of psychopathology is also severely lacking. I'll give this 4 stars because I'm a huge fan of this author; otherwise, it would have been a 3-star book for me. Read more

House of Stairs
House of Stairs

Review:Possibly more than any other of Sleator's Books this one carries a very serious note with it. A note that after reading the final sentence in this book you find Completely Terrifying.
This books something that they should require in schools instead of Junk like Lord of the Flies they should give children a serious look into the human psyche. What motivates us, what makes us who we are, and what makes us what we we will become and forever be.
Once again sleator adresses scientific questio... Read more
