Julie of the Wolves (HarperClassics)
Julie of the Wolves (HarperClassics)

Review:The Julie books (there are two others were) some of my all-time favorite books. I adored them as a kid. Ignore the people saying it's inappropriate, they just want to stick their head in the sand and pretend nothing bad has ever happened to Inuit women or Alaskan wildlife. I read this book in the fourth grade and was not at all phased. Anyone with an interest in history, culture, Alaska, wolves, animals, nature, coming of age stories, survival stories, or just darn good reads will find something... Read more

Dark Triumph: His Fair Assassins, Book II
Dark Triumph: His Fair Assassins, Book II

Review:Not usually a fan of period-piece fiction, but my aversion fell to the wayside after readinf the first 2 books in this series. Great characters - fully rendered - and all the action and intrigue you could ask for. Looking forward to the next book in the series. Read more

Fracture
Fracture

Review:This novel read more like a contemporary then a paranormal story which is something I really liked about it. I've been going through a bit of a contemporary phase so I was especially excited to start this one. I was disappointed though when the story never morphed into something I could enjoy and relate to.

Fracture follows Delaney Maxwell after she falls into a frozen lake and her childhood best friend/boy next door, Decker, pulls her out. Only she should never have survived being in the... Read more

The Silver Kiss
The Silver Kiss

Review:I was disappointed with this novel. After reading Companions of the Night, by Vivian Vande Velde, I thought I'd give this one a chance. Waste of money. It's overly mushy, it lacks suspense, it's annoying at times and the matter-of-fact considerations about death left me cold. Oh and the word "stars" is used just a little too repetitively for my taste. It's no thriller, nothing thrills here. And not a spark of sense of humour. OK, I might as well say it: it sucks. The Face on the Milk Carton (The Face on the Milk Carton Series)
The Face on the Milk Carton (The Face on the Milk Carton Series)

Review:This was fascinating enough for me to finish it and be hooked in the suspense. However, I do not feel the need to get the rest of the books that follow the story because I feel it is not interesting enough to continue. I am satisfied with this book as it is and really enjoyed the plot twist. Read more

Magonia
Magonia

Review:The description of this book sounded so enticing, I just had to get it and see what it was about. Aza and Jason are the main characters and Jason is basically a child prodigy, and Aza at 15 is wise beyond her years. Unfortunately Aza is chronically ill and there doesn't seem to be any way to help her. That part of the book could come across as a normal teen story, but then the ships in the sky part comes in, making it more of a fantastical story. Aza sees these floating ships in the sky and ... Demon Kissed (A Paranormal Romance—Book #1 in the Demon Kissed Series)

Review:Loved it! Amazing adventure! And I was so invested! I felt everything she felt! I was devastated, love struck, nervous and angry. All sorts of emotions that this book put me through and totally worth it in the end. I might even use the word obsessed. And in my mind Collin is so yummy ? Read more

A YA Circus Fantasy Adventure (A Dream Travelers Series

Review:***I received the ARC eBook from the author in exchange for an honest review***

Beautiful, mesmerising and magical – all words to describe the Vagabond Circus and this book! Originally I was a little worried because it didn’t have my favourite start (I felt disconnected from the characters that I also had a hard time growing to like even though I could understand their standpoint) but by the end I was dying for more. The damn kindle lied saying I had 10% left but it wasn't technically par... Read more

Review:I dropped all my other distractions to JUST READ this book! It was awesome!!!
