Thrillers
Review:Another classic from woods. He never seems to run out of new ideas to keep a story moving. I do wish he would bring Holly back into more of his novels though. She is a remarkable woman who melds well with Stone Barrington. Read more
Review:Set during the late 19th century, alternating between London and New York, a mysterious double homicide has set tongues wagging in the elite society. When Bayard Van Duyvil’s body was found stabbed along the river and his beautiful wife’s body apparently presumed dead and lost in the river alongside their home it seems like a closed case of jealousy gone wrong. But Janie found this explanation too pat and convenient and definitely very unlikely behaviour for her brother and sister in law. So ... Read more
Review:I loved the characters and the storyline. Being a veteran I could identify with the camaraderie of the team players. For me to not want this book to end says a lot! I hope Ms Howard writes more stories of the Go-Teams. Read more
Review:Love her writting. And the FBI series is always great. But the same format on every one of these books? I would like to see Sherlock and Savic being more realistic. Never a disagreement is unrealistic. But I enjoy the books. Read more
Review:Gregg Hurwitz never disappoints. I couldn't put it down; I was reading every chance I could. There was some graphic violence but no more than you would expect given the circumstances. It was not dwelt on. There was only a minor amount of sexual content and it was not graphic. I loved this book as I have others of his that I've read. Read more
Review:I was a bit “uninterested” when I started reading book one. I almost put it away but I thought I would give it a go. I am glad I did! I could not put it down. I have read the whole series. I was hoping and still am hoping that Mr. Watts continues the planner series to find the evil woman (sorry if I gave away som of the book). I also have read all his books and cannot wait for another. I give thumbs up on the Max Fend series as well. Read more
Review:Oh my goodness....I’ve never shed so many tears and yet experienced such joy while reading a book...this story grabs quickly and doesn’t let go - in fact you will be drawn in completely, heart, mind and soul. Beautiful. Poignant. Special. And you’ll never be able to forget the spectacular heart stomping ending. —After reading I immediately bought every Ellsworth book I could find! Read more
Review:The writing style changes slightly in this installment, but that may be a result of the fact that the setting is entirely different than the first novels of the series. It also gives the feeling that Flavia is starting to grow up a little more which adds a new dimension to her character to draw you in. Can't wait for the next one! Read more
Review:I felt like I was in High School! James Patterson is getting lazy, or just doesn't care anymore, what he puts his name on. A grown man, a Texas Ranger, behaving like a kid in Highschool. The great QB, with his harem of Cheerleaders! Having slept and dated every one of them! Exciting! Geez! He is a narcissist, thinking he's God's gift to women. And a lousy Lawman, on top of it! Back to the drawing board, Mr. Patterson! Read more
Review:Kyle is back and more badass than ever. Our chauvinistic self absorb hero is kickin ass and taking names. Book six of star force series is much like the rest, packed full of action and greatly entertaining. Read more
