Tom Clancy Point of Contact (A Jack Ryan Jr. Novel Book 3)
Tom Clancy Point of Contact (A Jack Ryan Jr. Novel Book 3)

Review:Poor effort. Need to get Mark Greany back on the series. Madsen is all over the place. Stupid plot, supposedly smart characters, but who continually make stupid decisions. I used to buy all the sequels automatically ; I am rethinking that for the future Read more

Executive Orders (A Jack Ryan Novel Book 7)
Executive Orders (A Jack Ryan Novel Book 7)

Review:Recommend to all Tom Clancy fans. Pretty typical adventure but shows what a true president should be doing in light of terrorist attacks. Lots of war stuff but has some truth in it also, especially regarding Islamic terrorism on America. Read more

The Cardinal of the Kremlin (A Jack Ryan Novel Book 3)
The Cardinal of the Kremlin (A Jack Ryan Novel Book 3)

Review:Some writers you just can't get enough. Clancy is definitely one of those. If not as thrilling as the Hunt for the red October, in this book he takes a deep dive into the politics of the Cold War. Jack Ryan is probably his best character and this is one of his best books. I only regret the fact that Amazon doesn't provide a list of the reading order in writing or chronological order. It would make the reading all more Pleasant. Read more

Debt of Honor (A Jack Ryan Novel Book 6)
Debt of Honor (A Jack Ryan Novel Book 6)

Review:The book itself - well, you love clancy or hate him. This is a favorite of mine.

This review addresses the Kindle version however - be warned. The converter has added double spacing - essentially a paragraph break - between every sentence. This is doubly frustrating due to Clancy's use of short sentences during conversations; kindle readers will have about 7 sentences per page, and be flipping pages twice as often as they need to. Hopefully, they will fix. Read more

Stolen Ink (Ink Born Book 1)
Stolen Ink (Ink Born Book 1)

Review:I like this world. This is an enjoyable urban fantasy. It has great secondary characters you will like but the romance is minimal. That didn't take anything away for me but if you like more than basically fade to black with your heat keep it in mind. The story really was fun to read. Read more

and Black List (The Scot Harvath Series) - The Athena Project
and Black List (The Scot Harvath Series) - The Athena Project

Review:Brad Thor weaves a great book based on real world threats to our country. Read his book and read current news and compare. It scares me to death that we are so much relying on technology.. Will you be able to access prescriptions, you money in the bank? Read this book. Read more

A Harry Hole Novel (Harry Hole Series Book 3) - The Redbreast
A Harry Hole Novel (Harry Hole Series Book 3) - The Redbreast

Review:The plot and premise were pretty good. Being unfamiliar with Nordic names and cities, the firehose of characters delivered at the start of this book kept me at a disadvantage often as folks were referred to later. It never helps when you are reading on a Kindle and don't have that easy -leaf backward to see "who was he anyway" capability. Read more

Live Wire (Myron Bolitar Book 10)
Live Wire (Myron Bolitar Book 10)

Review:I just finished Live Wire and loved it, with only one reservation - I fear it will be the last!! You will see what I mean after you read it. There, don't you want to just buy it now. I sincerely hope so. For all of the fans, you will not be disappointed. It is a great read, one filled with the usual banter between Myron and his wonderful friend, Win. In this book, Win becomes so much more than just a good friend. I finished the book quickly due to the fact that I just could not put my Kin... Read more

Promise Me (Myron Bolitar Book 8)
Promise Me (Myron Bolitar Book 8)

Review:I found Coben's writing style wonderful and the dialogue great. I couldn't put this book down. Looking over the other reviews it seems you either love or hate Promise Me. The wisecracking dialogue and oddball characters may be an acquired taste but I loved it all. My only regret was that it wasn't longer. Read more
