Poor effort. Need to get Mark Greany back on the series. Madsen is all over the place. Stupid plot, supposedly smart characters, but who continually make stupid decisions. I used to buy all the sequels automatically ; I am rethinking that for the future

Well, nobody knew that, because accounting is boring, and about 3/4 of this book focuses on getting lunch after a busy morning of accounting, and then going back to some accounting until quitting time. Boring. Awful.

I found this book entertaining and generally well written. However the last few chapters were not up to the standards of the earlier portions of their book.

It was anticlimactic ending to a generally well written story.

An excellent read, a lot like the old novels that draw one in. Surprisingly the new characters make you want to know more about them.
As a long time Clancey fan I can say this one did not disappoint. Looking forward to JRs future adventures.

Thoroughly enjoyed this latest installment in the Jack Ryan Jr. series. With the non-stop action, this book was hard to put down. I must admit that I missed the rest of the Hendley Associates team however - John Clark, Ding, Dom - but at least Gavin was still around.

Formulaic. No one since Clancy has been Clancy. The ability to share technologic information comprehensibly to the layman was one of his strengths and is missed. Character development is also somewhat weak.
