Review:Jack Winchester is an independent force with which to be reckoned. The story is fast-paced, further develops the former mobster, and has its own twists and turns. You will not be disappointed if you enjoyed the first book in this series! Read more
Review:Sue Wyshynski’s, The Butterfly Code, is a compelling novel with an exacting pace that leaves the reader breathless.
The two main characters, Aeris and Hunter, have many layers to their personalities, and at the same time are so polished that you cannot expect to really know them in this first novel of the series.
As the reader, you have to dedicate yourself to going on the long ride with Aeris and Hunter from the outset; and Wyshynski makes sure you do. By using such penetrating de... Read more
Review:I enjoyed the story line, the politics, the characters. It was a good mystery and I read all three of them with zest! Having said that (and not being a prude) I don't think I've read a book in a while where there was so much sex. A lot of it is so predictable it makes you just think "enough is enough". There is a lot one can do when writing sexual scenes without being so graphic, I feel. I would still recommend this series, it is a good read. Read more
Review:The Saga starts in post apocalyptic US after nuclear war. The story evolves slowly and the separate parts come together in the final book with the characters interacting in a climactic end. Horrific brutal scenes- with a "Mad Max" overtone. Survival certainly takes on a raw quality, yet the author puts glimpses of hope for mankind through the actions of the characters. Some parts are dreary to the point of depressing- at times hard to follow- but overall ,this is what you expect for a survival g... Read more
Review:I just finished the new Luke Stone novel that was indeed the exact same plot. Luke always triumphs of course, he must because there’s always the next book. So I really wasn’t that impressed with this one. You know what’s going to happen, there’s no surprises. I’d rather read about an apocalyptic event. Read more
Review:Three things that often influence my selection of a book to read are - the first (or first two) sentences, the book cover and the title.
First sentence of this book -
Tonight, I will do the impossible.
That definitely got my interest.
Book Cover - good one.
Title - also interesting. I have to admit that after reading the book, I’m not sure what lie the author is referring to. I wish that had been more clear.
I enjoyed the book. It’s classified as historica... Read more
Review:Good character and story line development. Spent less time on development of the agency (which was developed in several other series) and more time on character development. Would recommend the book to others. Look forward to next book in the series. Read more
Review:This story has it all. Angst, suspense, excitement, drama, sex, emotions and yes gory stuff too. If you like mafia stories you'll like this one. The plot is intruging, the characters instantly likeable.
The way you're introduced to Klara makes you wonder how things will turn out for her. Not really family but growing up in Vlad's home she quickly becomes one of them. Loved by all she is trying to fit in as best as she can.
Vlad, some years older than her suddenly finds an attraction to her... Read more

Review:I chose five stars because this book was easy addictive reading. The main character, London, was strong and yet scared in the most realistic every day issues kind of way that kept her relatable. Who isn't afraid of
love? Who doesn't experience fear of becoming a parent? This book wasn't a disappointment, I look forward to more readings from this Author. Read more
