Review:I am generally speaking not a fan of short stories. But I am a big fan of C J Box and his writing. This hit on all cylinders. Thanks for your great skill with the written word. Bottom line I am a big admirer of your work and skill. Read more
Review:Excellent, as usual. This is a new series, but different from Joe Pickett. Still set in the west. Box's style is smooth and easy. The mystery was solved, but still a loose end. So, expect more in this series. Read more
Review:Good yarn. The self destructive flaws in the main character was a bit off putting at start, but the struggle to address his issues was good. The environmental detail was great. And, of course, that general distaste of government has a certain satisfsction to it. Read more
Review:Cjbox has NEVER disappointed me. I have enjoyed all his books and this one is no exception. I wanted to stay up and finish the book but went to bed. Thought about Cassie and Kyle the whole night. Excellent! Read more
Review:Typical Griffin. Not one of his most action packed, so it moved along kind of slow and was redundant at times. I like Griffin 's work and recommend this read, but I was a little disappointed when the big finish came in with a thud. Read more

Some readers may find the inclusion of recipes a plus. too. They are down-home; not very complicated (being a cook, I have to chuckle whenever I see he... Read more
Review:I've read numerous post-apocalyptic books and have never left a review. I thought this series was great and felt I needed to let others know that this series is worth the money! I also really enjoyed Konkoly's The Perseid Collapse but for whatever reason felt closer to these characters. Really a great story and folks you get to know and care about! Read more
Review:Good character development. Interesting story line, and technically detailed, without going so far as to lose reader’s interest. Hard to put down, and moves at a good pace without too much extraneous detail. Read more
