Review:We LOVE this book! The language and words-per-page are perfect for my 3- and 5-year-olds. Clear explanations of cause and effect. The right balance of logic and emotion. Gives great suggestions for dealing with the urge to bite. We quote it all the time! love it! Read more
Review:Bought this for my granddaughter's mermaid birthday party. Perfect book for any girl/boy that loves to read about mermaids. Has moving parts to keep their attention all through the story, creating an interest for reading books. Love it! Read more
Review:This is a delightful book filled with lots of "action" words (bam, whop, dig, smush, etc) and a jaunty narrative. I love that it takes the reader from the very first stage of building a road (marking the road on a map) to the very last (opening day) and the author even thought to add planting around the highway before it opens. The illustrations are vibrant and cute. Both my 2 (boy) and 5 (girl) year olds love this story and it's one I don't mind reading over and over again! Read more
Review:NOTE: This review is for the ebook version.
This is a classic and I couldn't resist being able to have it to re-read, share, and reminisce about. But I was disappointed in this ebook version for a couple reasons. First, the layout is two-page only, so you have to hold your ereader (Kindle, Android tablet, etc.) lengthwise to be able to read it. I know some pages don't make perfect sense otherwise, but I just don't like being told how to read a book. And second, this version is differ... Read more
Review:The beginner books by Robert Lopshire are not "twaddle." They (New Tricks I Can Do and I Want to Be Somebody New) are wonderful for primer and level 1 readers. The kids fall in love with the stories and want to read them over and over!

Review:I was hoping this would be more like the actually Dr. Seuss book, its not. Its probably about 6 or 7 lines and the last one is totally ridiculous, it doesn't even rhyme. I'd have been better off just buying to real book and reading it to my son. But the boardbooks are so nice because I can give it to him and not worry about him ripping pages out. I think the REAL Dr. Seuss books are a must have but not this thing or anything like it. Read more
Review:Wacky Wednesday was my son's favorite book when he was around 4 years old. He is now about to become a father and I ordered this book for him to read to my new granddaughter. The story is a great way to involve your child while you read to them. Each page has things that they can point out and it makes them proud when they correctly identify each "wacky" item.

Review:When Billy Bixbee finds a tiny dragon in his bedroom, his mum tells him, "There's no such thing as a dragon!" This only makes the dragon get bigger. He grows, and grows, and grows, until he's bigger than Billy's house.
Charming text and playful illustrations by well-known author-illustrator Jack Kent is a terrific story that demonstrates how a little attention can make a big difference, no matter what size the problem.
As mentioned, Billy awakes one morning to find a dragon, the si... Read more
Review:Love this book. I gave it four stars just because I should have checks the dimensions better and the pages tear very easily, which is unfortunate. I will need another one either bigger or in board book style. Read more
