Make Way for Ducklings
Make Way for Ducklings

Review:Make Way For Ducklings is a springtime classic. The timeless tale of Mr and Mrs Mallard as they attempt to find a safe place to lay their eggs and spend the winter is a delightful romp through Boston proper with sweet illustrations and gentle humor.

Duck lovers young and old will be enchanted by this classic childhood tale. Read more

Olivia
Olivia

Review:Hundreds of people have fallen in love with Olivia and know how wonderful Ian Falconer character is but I couldn't help commenting on this charming and witty book. Most children love to read the same book over and over and it can get quite tiresome for the poor readers but like a great movie, this book is easliy read over and over again. Read more

God Gave Us Heaven
God Gave Us Heaven

Review:Great book to help little one's understand heaven and what it is believed to be. I'm not a religious person and not really sure that I believe in heaven and hell and God and all that, but even I enjoyed reading this to my 3 year old while my father in law (her grandfather, obviously) was dying. After his passing, she really took to this book as well as a couple others that were equally "enjoyable" and great learning tools for little minds. Read more

How to Speak Cat: A Guide to Decoding Cat Language
How to Speak Cat: A Guide to Decoding Cat Language

Review:Good information about cat language. I surprised myself in how much I had already perceived, being a first time cat parent. I guess if you are sensitive to animals and have always had pets (dogs and very tame parakeets) then that skill just transfers over to all one's pets. It could have gone further into the communication with cats. I've already surpassed the knowledge in this book and wanted to learn more.

Great for someone that needs sensitivity training. Read more

Investigations and Adventures with Wolf-Birds - Mind of the Raven
Investigations and Adventures with Wolf-Birds - Mind of the Raven

Review:This guys is some kind of weird freak. Seriously. His social experiments with the birds, his obsession with all the weird little things. Nonetheless, an interesting read. I would take what he says with a grain of salt. He is a little too close to the subject for objectivity.

In his whole discussion of the interaction between Ravens and Wolves, I think he may be seeing what he wants to see more than what is there. I live and work in Yellowstone National Park, and while there may be a... Read more

Tiger's Curse (Book 1 in the Tiger's Curse Series)
Tiger's Curse (Book 1 in the Tiger's Curse Series)

Review:I would never of thought about even reading this book if I didn't have my Kindle. I must admit I love my Kindle and the fact that you can sample and or get some fics for only 99 cents. Now back to the main point I was browsing through the Kindle Store and at the top lists I found this book. I said okay it is inexpensive lets see what the book is about.

I read it through the first time and because to an extent I felt just like Kelsey did. Just getting out into the adult world and looking a... Read more

Knight Kyle and the Magic Silver Lance (Adventures Beyond Dragon Mountain)
Knight Kyle and the Magic Silver Lance (Adventures Beyond Dragon Mountain)

Review:My son loves the stories! The pictures are creative and grab his attention. There are a few grammatical errors which may be due to the translation. I'd love that to be addressed as well as a little more love for female characters. Perhaps Constance could save the Prince! Read more

Donde esta la oveja verde?/Where Is the Green Sheep? (English and Spanish Edition)

Review:I wonderful book for toddlers. My son wasn't much into books but read this one repeatedly from 14 months, we actually wore out the board book version so got this one when he was two. I reads easily and the repetitive :where's the green sheep' catches and holds the attention of young toddlers, then the group picture becomes fascinating later on. Read more
