52 Family Friendly Experiments from Around the House (Lab Series)
52 Family Friendly Experiments from Around the House (Lab Series)

Review:This book is the perfect guide for anyone wanting to introduce children to fun science experiments. My 3 year old daughter loves this book. So far her favorite one was the "Rock Candy" experiment. She loved checking on them daily, and of course getting to eat it at the end. This book has really easy to follow directs and awesome pictures. I also like that a lot of the ingredients are items you can already find in your house. I highly recommend this wonderful book. The Abominable Snowman (Choose Your Own Adventure #1)

Review:Comparable to myself, you’re probably under the impression that these books remain true to what you experienced as a child. Wrong answer. Cell phones. Internet. Basically everything that has impeded upon childhood. Read more

Review:Very good product. Bought this for my daughter at Christmas. She was 10 years old at the time and now is 11. Months later, she still enjoys doing her nails, using the designs in this book. Not sure about the quality of the polish, but that's not the point. Buy this for the instructions and ideas. Read more

Zoom (Picture Puffin Books)
Zoom (Picture Puffin Books)

Review:Provides a hands-on activity for educational presentations. Can be used to illustrate several points. The only problem I had with it was the fact that the instructions and ideas did not come with the books. I had to find them online. Should have ways to use, instructions with the books. Read more

Hello, World! Solar System
Hello, World! Solar System

Review:My 2-year-old loves the bright and busy illustrations in this book. I love that there's something here for all ages. My 8-month-old and 2-year-old enjoy pointing out things in the busy illustrations, while my 8-year-old enjoys learning pretty sophisticated facts about the solar system. In fact, dad and I learned a few things reading this book! Definitely recommended. Read more

National Geographic Little Kids First Big Book of Why (National Geographic Little Kids First Big Books)

Review:Anyone who has inquisitive kids knows how much they like to ask "Why" at a certain age. This book is a good tool to have for those kids or for anyone who wants to encourage healthy curiosity in kids. A good approximate age for kids who would like this book might be anywhere from age 4 on up, in my opinion. Read more

The Lost History of African-American Inventors - What Color Is My World?
The Lost History of African-American Inventors - What Color Is My World?

Review:This book is absolutely amazing. The story within the story adds texture and makes the story that much more interesting. Especially how it takes typical teenagers who are not necessarily interested in house repair or being educated outside the classroom and peaks their curiosity. Then to enhance the story by introducing black inventors who are scientist and engineers to life adds additional depth. Thanks to the authors for bringing this book to life. A job well done.
