Review:Throughly enjoyed reading the life story of Rin Tin Tin and his offspring. His great grandson was a big part of my childhood and probably the reason I love shepherds to this day. This is not just a tale of movie dogs but of dogs in general... how they moved from outside farm hands to movie heros and then into homes as beloved pets. Dog lovers will love this book! Read more
Review:Fantastic book! The metal corner ends protect the paperback cover from fraying, a classy and practical touch. The photography in the book is beautiful, the hints and suggestions and reasoning are all well thought out and doable. I am super organized myself - have been for years just by figuring things out myself - but I can tell by just browsing through the book that I will find some things to help improve my already-good system. Best household organization book I have ever seen, and it's a ... Read more
Review:Similar principles to many other minimalist books. Great book for someone new to minimalism, but if you have already pursued minimalism this book adds little to the concepts you have already learned. Read more
Review:Recently, I moved home to assist with my disabled parents. In that move, two houses were combined into one. Because of the short amount of time between my lease ending and having to move, everything just got shoved into the garage and other free space. You know the old adage - I'll just get to it later. Well later has lead to some serious stress about where to go now. To try and make some headway, I decided to purchase a book. Something to try and give me a starting point since I am seriously ov... Review:I enjoyed reading this book the first time, the second time, and am now in the third reading. The first time is mostly oohing and aahing at the beautiful pages and the superb writing form. Then you have to start over, and really take in the true lessons KariAnne shares about living life and learning about life with God. I'm waiting to finish the third reading till I get my eager fingers on the hard cover book. Thanks, KariAnne, Tyndale, and all involved for giving the world a lovely book. Read more
Review:There is a lot of helpful information in here. However...there are unfortunately quite a bit of things in the book that I really wish weren't in there. I wanted this for my daughter and I to use as well as to possibly purchase others as gifts. There are expletives (albeit asterisks in the words but still) throughout the book (beginning with "sh" and "f") as well as some sharing that I wish the author hadn't shared (sexual, drinking). I'll attach a couple pages. It may not bother others but d... Read more

Review:When I started gardening almost three years ago, I also started listening to some podcasts. Those two interests combined when I found Melissa K. Norris ([...]). I learned many gardening tips, food preservation tips and, very importantly, seed-saving tips. I couldn’t have learned to save tomato seeds the right way without her.
When I found out she was writing a book, I added it to my Amazon cart right away – four months before the release date. I am so glad I did.
The size of the book is de... Read more
Review:This book is a must-have for serious gardeners and those that live off the land. It shows you how to make your own root cellar from scratch, or how to convert a small room into a food storage room.
This book isn't just about how-to store, but also WHAT TO GROW. Not everything is best for long term storage, only certain types of particular veggies can be stored, and this book tells you what you need to grow. Read more
Review:I love having so many smoothie recipes to choose from and easy to make but I was expecting a meal plan guide. I’m confused. Don’t know which one should have for breakfast, lunch, after a work out and dinner. Help. Read more
