Review:An excellent statement of the position that recent Government, Society, and Academic programs and policies are doing more to hurt the success of various ethnic groups rather than help them. A very easy read but packed with very valid points. Highly recommended. Read more
Review:Despite its hyperbole, this class critique cum romance has its charms, including a fascinating glimpse of how Forster saw the Stephen children (later destined to become Virginia Woolf and Vanessa Bell). Read more
Review:Well-written, easy read - and highly relevant to 2015 issues. If you are concerned about current events, particularly #BlackLivesMatter, Ferguson (and the Ferguson DOJ report), and the events in Baltimore, then I think you will enjoy this book. Read more

Review:Wow. This book explains quite well why we have the problems in America that we do. This was a bit of a tough read for me with all of the names, dates, facts, and figures. Hopefully everyone reads it so we can stop blindly following these people. Read more
Review:This book was certainly a fine effort. Using multiple first-person narrators was a good way to look at the issues from multiple vantage points. What could have pulled the book to five-stars is hearing from the "bad guys". I doubt the racist monsters from that era were simply evil people. Their views, just like ours, were mostly formed from those of family/friends/teachers of the times. Once we've "looked at love from both sides now", it is time to do the same with hate. Read more
Review:Kind of outdated w/ type questions, and questions lack "substance". Depends what you are looking for. A kind of fun game to play as a couple because certainly does not go "deeper" to questions that makes someone think about. Read more
