Relationships
Review:This book impacted my current relationship greatly! It taught me to just sit back and be taken care of (for once in my life) in a relationship. Instead of thinking "What can I do tonight to get this guy to like me?" before a date, I changed my thinking and ask myself "I wonder what he'll do for me tonight, where will he take me, what will we talk about that interests me, how will he try to make me feel special? What should I wear that makes ME feel good? I wonder if I'LL feel a stronger spark... Read more
Review:These are tiny, adorable little books with some really great tips. Some of the information/advice is dated but that's okay. I ordered the Don't For Wives as well. I think it is good to get back to the basics and I think that is what this book reminds us to do. Read more
Review:We all have challenges dealing with boundaries, and often have boundaries that are excellent in some areas, weak in others. I might be great at setting boundaries with my friends, yet struggle to do it with my boss or lover. This book delineates the difference between defense and a boundary, and best of all, gives practical scenarios and examples of what bad boundaries, look like in action, and how an unhappy situation might play out if good boundaries were used instead.
I only had a few ... Read more

Review:I learned about this book after watching Meg Jay's 10 minute TED talk, i wasn't convinced then but i was curious and wanted to hear her out on the topic. Reading this book at twenty six was a huge wake up call. Even with the reference to some pretty technical psychology and medical references-- which I thought would bore me at first-- I was hooked. Meg Jay thoroughly elaborates on her thesis in each chapter regarding career, love, and even aging using relatable examples, bringing up real fears a... Read more
Review:Honestly this shows you that if you truly believe in yourself others will believe in you too. It isn't dated at all. It is for the confident man, or to be confident man. Have a problem with that? Look in the mirror and fix that problem. Re-reading it because it was so good. Lots of little nuggets that ring true the second time around. Read more
Review:This book is inspiring, motivating, and fun to read. With my marketing hat on, I see the missed opportunities for forging real connections and experiences with customers. And in my personal life, I am reminded to practice courage, make deeper connections, and, to quote the authors, "defy the forgettable flatness of everyday work and life by creating a few precious moments." Review:Probably one of the most life changing books I have ever read (besides the bible).
Most thankful for how the Holy Spirit wrote through Joshua, not just the words but his own life changes!
Inspirational to say the least!
Glad I read this book, I have given the book to quite a few others and testimonies of changed lives keep
reaching my ears! How do you want to have a Godly relationship? This book tells you how (not just with
a significant other in a relationship but with God!).
