Review:Read this and find out who really rules the world, if anybody. Covers 1913 to 1945. Four men (two replaced by death) make most of the decisions that shape the world. Not always well organized, but educational. Read more
Review:A solid motivational read. Im a self employed consultant that works from home. The stories were motivating and served as a boost before i started my day. However nothing particularly outstanding and lifechanging in this book for me. That is this book is filled with very common sense advice. Also several editing issues (a quote incorrectly attributed to Nelson Mandela) and i found it interesting that thr author made a point to identify the race of black women she interviewed (no other races were... Review:Cabane has an interesting subject, but she inflated it too much and therefore diluted it. There was however a couple of gems that reminded me how others experience you. Review:You know a book is a standout when, while reading, you find yourself constructing a list of people you plan to gift it to. How to Be a Power Connector is a game changer that both inspires and educates the reader to master what I believe to be one of the most undervalued and intimidating aspects of business; networking. Like the book’s author, I never saw myself as a networker, but have been fortunate to work with some great networker/connector types over the course of my career. Networking is n... Read more
Review:This gentleman was simply amazing! Everything he exuded was pure intelligence and I've rarely ever found another self help success book that is hard to put down.
The power of the mind is so incredible that sometimes things seem impossible or improbable but if manifested of pure intent in the mind then the results are there! Changes and transformations have come about in my life, just because of a slight shift in thinking and then a disciplined effort to keep on with that new frame of thou... Read more
