Review:The book left me encouraged about the progress outside the western world. I did not do well on the quiz. yet, I have seen the homeless in San Diego. Detroit slums are horrible. The water in Flint is deadly. The crime rate in St. Louis and Chicago is scary. Many small cities in the rural south have more adults on welfare than have jobs. Review:This book basically told me to make a to do list and stick with it. Making sure to do everything the average person should do without cutting corners. It was like sitting in one of those get rich quick scheme seminars with this overly motivated guy who tells you how Priamerica saved his life and now he makes millions. Or one of those Verve idiots trying to trap you in their pyramid scheme... good read just eerily sales pichy.... Read more

Review:The most valuable thing I got was the idea that objections are just lack of trust, not actual objections. It's almost like he's an old wise man who understands life, because he's been through it all and can speak wisdom to you that would have took you a life time understand. Basically, you're getting the wisdom of an all time great salesman downloaded into your brain, with out having to work 30 years to attain it. Review:I bought a copy of this book on a friends recommendation. I don't have alot of time to read but vacation was approaching so I thought this would be a good thing to have. I picked it up when it arrived a week prior to vacation to "just get a little bit started". I read it in 2 days!!! Couldn't put it down. I have since bought several copies and given them out. Review:A cynic toward sequels would note that Steven Covey took only a little more than 300 pages to explain his first seven habits, but 409 pages and an accompanying CD to expound on the eighth. Cynicism aside, however, this book - this 8th Habit - is worth every page. Give Covey credit.
